Hi. I would like to start with our visit and our waitress Gabriella she was not attentive while we did notice she was very attentive with the guest behind us which was seated afterwords. She failed to mention, "if this was our 1st visit or any other welcoming questions",which was asked to the guest behind us. Stopped in during a solo weekend trip while in town for baseball games and was looking forward to trying this spot based on the name. Unfortunately, the experience felt off pretty quickly. While the place itself had a decent setup and I was seated in a visible area, it took about seven minutes before anyone came over to acknowledge me. The waitstaff wasn't rude, just noticeably disengaged, which made the whole visit feel a bit overlooked. I was seated by the hostess in a central, visible area (see photo), so the delay in being greeted was a bit surprising given the staffing on the floor. I ordered a Down East cider along with the Cobb Salad and Bang Bang Cauliflower. The salad, which I paired with a ginger dressing, was actually the highlight--fresh, well-balanced, and flavorful. That said, it was brought out before the cauliflower, which was supposed to be the appetizer, so the pacing felt a little disjointed. The Bang Bang Cauliflower was the biggest letdown. Instead of being crispy as expected, it was more steamed in texture, which took away from both the flavor and overall dish. There appeared to be a manager on-site as well, but the floor didn't feel particularly engaged in general. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed. When I seen thick cut bacon, I had to give it a try! The bacon was as good as it looked. Super tender with a nice sweet and salt glaze. My mom had the ribs and thought they were ok. I had the Cuban and i wish I customized my toppings but it was still pretty good. Pretty good spot overall read more

ALRIGHT!!! This one was rough, the food was good but I didn't feel it was as advertised. They say in the menu, "fall off the bone" but it was definitely a "peel off the bone" type of vibe. The waitress 5/5, friendly, attentive and quick. The food ITSELF WAS GOOD, but not 4 star good. The grilled cheese had way too much cheese on top and made it hard to go for the Sandwhich itself. The wings had a BIT too much sauce on them but they were crispy and an awesome size. Bottom line, the food was good but opinion wise, I think could be tweaked a bit. Flying Pig Tavern & Tap is a gastropub located on Center St. in Bethlehem. They are open every day from 11AM - 11PM. I've been to this restaurant once before, and had a great experience. This time around was no different. All the food was delicious, and our server (also the bartender) was welcoming and attentive. I ordered honey bourbon wings and the Big Pig Burger. The wings were cooked perfectly and the sauce was fantastic. The burger was juicy, and topped with bacon, onion straws, shredded Monterey jack and cheddar cheese, and bbq sauce. All burgers are fresh, never frozen, and served with fries. My friend ordered the Italian chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken breast is topped with fresh mozzarella, roasted onions and peppers, and a balsamic glaze. The chicken was super tender and the toppings gave the sandwich a lot of flavor. All sandwiches are also served with fries. Flying Pig has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery. Was my first time here today, passed it a lot and never went in. But today I took the step, very nice inside. Love the rustic chandelier, and the flying pig logo is awesome! Our service was very commendable, left a great tip. The food was good, the burgers were very juicy and tasty. And the pulled pork nachos, you have to get. Burger was cooked as ordered and tasted fresh. The table next to us got the french onion soup and it looked great as well! Tots were spot on, but their ranch was not great. The crispy chicken burger was also tasty, but the garlic parmesan sauce was from a bottle and on the tangy side so not a fan. Turkey burger for the win. I appreciate when restaurants offer a substitution other than chicken, veggies or impossible burgers. The turkey was juicy and nice flavor. I added bacon and mushrooms. I wanted something creamy with it like a sauce but used some of the white balsamic dressing from my salad. It is a hefty size burger too. I had the side salad with the white balsamic dressing which was tangy and a hint of sweet. Yum. Smaller restaurant but honestly they have plenty of tables and patio area. Popped into the Flying Pig while out on a drive. Quite empty on a Sunday afternoon. The interior is in need of a bit of maintenance with ripped booth seating and chair gashes on the walls. The women's restroom was out of order and the men's was in need of a good cleaning. Service was slow, especially since there were only a handful of couples dining. The burger was well cooked and flavorful, not frozen. The chicken sandwich was nothing special but cooked nicely and not dried out Can't go much higher than three stars for the place (and customers) needing such attention. I went here twice. At 4 pm it started off slow on a Tuesday then got a tiny bit more busy. I've had the pretzel and cheese both times and it's absolutely delectable especially the cheese, both times. Then I had the French onion soup which is a classic and I love when restaurants have it. Then I had the Pig burger and it was so good, the bbq sauce and onion rings and cheese is so melty and tasty! Then I had the PB dessert but it was WAY TOO PB AND CHOCOLATEY so if u don't want too much then I don't recommend but it is also delectable. And then the next time I had the cheesecake with caramel on the side and whipped cream (the whipped cream seemed to be made in house) the sauce and cheesecake and caramel sauce are very soft and easy eating and going down, highly recommend if u want something not too overbearing. I also had the bourbon bbq wings which r also really good but don't expect anything crazy with them as they don't seem excessively flavored with artificial flavorings. The ambiance is awesome too, more specially the back, corner spot next to "Stacy's Mom" bathroom is a great spot to sit. read more

I am disappointed in the lack of menu options less than $15. Will keep coming back but wish for more unique offerings and some price variation. Good music and good smells. Now, I was not all that hungry, so I wanted something small and simple. I ordered the fish and chips. I know, it's not pig, but it sounded good at the time. The food started coming out and people started eating. Except for me. No food. The server came to check on us and saw that I had no food. She asked again what I had ordered. Should that be a question for me? I thought she wrote it down. Come to find out, it had not been made. No apologies. After 15 more minutes, my food came out. It looked good so I dug in. Wait, where is the fish? There was plenty of fried batter, but very little fish. I peeled back the batter and ate what fish I could find. We ordered bacon and garlic wings for appetizers and shared a NY strip steak. Wings were big and flavorful 8 for $15 Bacon were house thick cut and very delicious " I would come just for the Bacon " 3 thick slices for $15 Steak with vegetables were seasoned well. 14 oz $30. We ordered the steak medium and it came out well. The manager came over and saw the steak was over cooked. He did a great job in making it right not only did he take $15 off the steak he also didn't charge us for the Bacon. For that it's required a 5 star for service. I couldn't give 5 stars for the food because it was just over priced for what we had. $2 per wing is too high for a bar. Steak was $30 and that would have been ok but the lack of vegetables that came with it was disappointing. I would recommend the Bacon at $15 it was a fare price because it was that good.
