    Bacon flight....YUMM
    Mark J.

Started with the bacon flight and beer pretzel. Whoa. We're talking 10/10 starters. For mains, I got the bacon and blue burger and it was "chefs kiss" perfect burger. Fantastic service. Cannot wait to come back :)

When I seen thick cut bacon, I had to give it a try! The bacon was as good as it looked. Super tender with a nice sweet and salt glaze. My mom had the ribs and thought they were ok. I had the Cuban and i wish I customized my toppings but it was still pretty good. Pretty good spot overall

Went to lunch with a group of coworkers and had a really good time. The service was really quick. The food tasted great and the cost was more than reasonable..

This place is so cute. Love the pig theme, it just works. I will say parking is limited but don't let that stop you from checking this place out. The food was delicious. I got the cheeseburger and it was cooked perfectly and I could tell they handmade the patties. This is a good size burger. You will not leave hungry. They also have a nice selection of craft beers to choose from along with specialty cocktails. If you are in Bethlehem, give this place a visit!

One of the best meals that I've had in. Pennsylvania. Seriously. Top notch staff. Both Nathan and Ariani top tier customer service. These drinks were delicious. The oat milk espresso martini was outstanding. Light n tasty. The cranberry coconut margaritas yes please. Every drink n bite was great. The Mac n cheese burger amazing. Great Mac n cheese. The Cuban sandwich on Texas toast Devine. The bacon trio outstanding.

Flying Pig Tavern & Tap is a gastropub located on Center St. in Bethlehem. They are open every day from 11AM - 11PM. I've been to this restaurant once before, and had a great experience. This time around was no different. All the food was delicious, and our server (also the bartender) was welcoming and attentive. I ordered honey bourbon wings and the Big Pig Burger. The wings were cooked perfectly and the sauce was fantastic. The burger was juicy, and topped with bacon, onion straws, shredded Monterey jack and cheddar cheese, and bbq sauce. All burgers are fresh, never frozen, and served with fries. My friend ordered the Italian chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken breast is topped with fresh mozzarella, roasted onions and peppers, and a balsamic glaze. The chicken was super tender and the toppings gave the sandwich a lot of flavor. All sandwiches are also served with fries. Flying Pig has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery. Great service and the food was amazing. I would come back again and again love the atmosphere

Little bit of a wait but staff was friendly. Waitress is also the hostess but the bartender helps out too. Service was a little underwhelming but not sure if someone called off but they seemed short-staffed, so it took longer, but the waitress was hustling and nice. Nice bar area with bar seats and high top tables with lots of tvs. A few booths and a few regular tables. Onesie bathrooms. The french onion burger was delicious! Love that the au jus has onions too. Burger was cooked as ordered and tasted fresh. The table next to us got the french onion soup and it looked great as well! Tots were spot on, but their ranch was not great. The crispy chicken burger was also tasty, but the garlic parmesan sauce was from a bottle and on the tangy side so not a fan. We ordered cherry pepsi which is made with cherry syrup from the bar, so that was different but decent. Overall, I would come back but just make sure you're not in a hurry!

I just can't say enough about the service staff here. Polite, know how to read a table and definitely want you to come back. The food, really good with something for everyone.

Popped into the Flying Pig while out on a drive. Quite empty on a Sunday afternoon. The interior is in need of a bit of maintenance with ripped booth seating and chair gashes on the walls. The women's restroom was out of order and the men's was in need of a good cleaning. Service was slow, especially since there were only a handful of couples dining. The burger was well cooked and flavorful, not frozen. The chicken sandwich was nothing special but cooked nicely and not dried out Can't go much higher than three stars for the place (and customers) needing such attention. Doubtful I would return and not very likely to recommend to others.

The waitress, I believe was named Trish, was great. Kept checking on us and was very sweet. The food was very good. The pretzel was huge, soft, and delish. The mozzarella sticks were the best I've ever had. They were soft, non greasy, light on breading, and great cheese pull. Good vibes all around.

I attended Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy Part II in DC, and overall it was a really enjoyable…read moreexperience--especially for fans of Poe--but with a few logistical quirks worth noting. First, "speakeasy" is definitely used loosely here. The event took place in a ballroom at the Kellogg Conference Hotel, with a stage set up at the front and several round 8-top tables arranged throughout the room. It felt more like a small theatrical performance with table seating than an intimate, hidden speakeasy-style venue. One thing to flag: the event FAQ mentioned that some venues may have a pre-show bar but no food. That wasn't the case here--the hotel actually had food available for purchase before the show. So if that matters to you, it's worth checking directly with the venue rather than relying solely on the event website. The performers truly carry the entire experience. They handle everything--checking tickets, seating guests, serving cocktails, and performing--which is impressive but also leads to some occasional disorganization. When we arrived, there wasn't great communication between the ticket checker and the usher, so some guests seated themselves and had to be moved later. It didn't ruin anything, but smoother coordination would make the start of the evening feel more polished. As for the cocktails: you get four, one paired with each story. Unfortunately, this was probably the most underwhelming part. The drinks weren't very strong--you could barely taste the alcohol--and despite the website showing nice glassware, they were actually served in plastic cups. It didn't quite live up to the "cocktail experience" expectation. That said, the performance itself was fantastic. The cast was engaging, energetic, and clearly passionate about Poe's work. They performed The Pit and the Pendulum, The Cask of Amontillado, Annabel Lee, and The Fall of the House of Usher, and each was brought to life in a compelling way. There were even a few ad-libbed moments that added humor and kept the show feeling fresh. The actors also did a great job interacting with the audience at each table while serving drinks, which added a personal touch. Overall, despite a few hiccups with logistics and the cocktails, the strength of the performances makes this a worthwhile experience--especially if you're a Poe fan.

I'd heard mixed reviews going in, but aside from the parking, there wasn't a single thing to complain about. I kicked things off with crispy chicken dumplings, perfectly fried and served with a sweet-and-salty soy yuzu sauce, along with rich, pillowy pumpkin gnocchi. For my entree, I went with the pasta of the day, fettuccine in a garlic-horseradish cream sauce with mushrooms, Swiss chard, and tender beef tips. My friend went with the savory short ribs, served alongside a golden Irish cheddar potato cake, roasted root vegetables, and crispy shallots. I mentioned this and was told that's because many of the same craftsmen worked on this place too. Made me feel smart! If you go. Do yourself a favor and walk around a bit. The food was very tasty I think it is the only restaurant I've been in locally that didn't use excessive amounts of salt. A big plus. The mixed drinks were interesting and reasonably strong. I usually quaff mine down fairly rapidly, savoring the buzz during dinner and still safely driving home after. I had potato soup, which was very good, and Ming had Beet Carpaccio, which was thinly sliced seared root veggies with seasoning. I only had a bite because she wanted it all! Then came dinner. I had the ribeye, which was done so that it was seared one the outside to keep the flavor in and red (while being cooked thru, not an easy feat) and it's was flavored but not overly salty, were unusual. I ordered my usual Worcestershire sauce to clean off the extra salt, but hardly used any. Ming had the crab cake, which was the only negative of the meal. While not overtired or salty, there was a bit of a fishy smell. Not terrible, but off putting. Luckily for me, I don't like crab anyway so I didn't have any. The desserts were good, with a tasty chocolate cake and a peach cobbler that was good but could have had a bit of peach goo to moisten it a bit. The prices were very competitive considering the venue AND the quality of the food. The bar was hopping too because it looked like a great place to hang out with friends!

After she dropped our food to the table we didn't see her for an hour despite trying our best to flag her down and asking the other waitress to get her for us so we could have our bill. The owner was working harder than this waitress collecting our empty dishes, asked us if we needed anything, cleaning tables( our waitress removed a used empty glass when she seated us) and I have no clue where she went or what she was doing that while time that she failed to see if everything was okay, we needed anything/refills or were ready to the check. Instead, since my daughter is a regular, she gave us a tip to sit at the bar and order food. Service is much better. Every time we've gone there the food has always been good. This time I got a chicken philly cheesesteak and it was delicious also! Can't say much about the crowd. It's definitely a spot for the younger groups to hang out since the college is so close. The bad thing about that is that they don't respect you at your booth if you are in one just for food. They stand right in front of your table in groups talking and you have zero privacy and it's actually a bit suffocating.
