Really impressed by how clean everything was and how polite the staff were. Bathrooms were immaculate, dining areas looked great, tables and bars completely wiped down like they were brand new. Enjoyed their take on a steak sandwich which had a nice roll, a good portion of meat, pickles, and their beer cheese sauce. Simple but very well executed and wallet friendly. Went with some friends on a Friday night, had reservations. We ordered our drinks while we waited for the last couple. We were in the back bar - which is gorgeous - completely different from the front of the Saloon. We did wait some time for our drinks. It wasn't super busy. We ordered appetizers while we waited. Our friends finally showed and they ordered drinks and apps and they got their food before my husband and I got our appetizers, which we ordered about 20 minutes prior - we had to ask if we were getting them. The girl who brought out some of the food - well let's just say not friendly and could use a personality - she was miserable - basically flopped the plates on the table with a grimace and walked away. Our waitress was great, but way too busy to really give us any real attention. Our appetizers were fantastic - the wasabi crab balls - a absolute MUST try - soo good - I wanted to eat them all night. Would go back just for them. I had the crab cakes for dinner - also very good. Everyone did enjoy their food. I think would be great to go in the fall with the garage type doors open back there on a great fall day. Really nice. Love this What can I say? This place is awesome to start it out and just the front as a small restaurant in. Palmerton is built onto the back with an all glass enclosed bar with the nicest menu, and the nicest waitresses and waiters and a great view could not ask for more. I think this is my all-time favorite go to spot I would suggest highly coming here even the music is good . read more

Ok....I've been to this place half a dozen times and I keep coming back. For some reason the wings here are simply perfect. Time for a review. My GF found this place so I can't take credit for discovering it. It's a nice family dinner establishment and a awesome old-school, great music type of bar. I notice a couple of locals hang out - nice people. Met the owner (I think) really nice guy. They're doing work in the back - I think it'll serve as an outdoor seating area.... GOOD! It'll take customers away from the arrogance of Riverwalck and the incompetence of One Ten Tavern. This place has good food (went there with another couple recently - they thanked us for showing them this place). This place has a great atmosphere (met up with a couple of friends here and they appreciated being shown this place). This place has great patrons (sitting at the bar one late afternoon, started chatting up a local....come to find out this dude had an amazing life story. We debated on who was going to buy the next round since we enjoyed each other's company - kinda hard to do because I'm a duche!) Pleasantly surprised! Friday night, arrived 730pm, with a few open tables. Good menu with plenty of choices: nothing fancy, and great prices. 3 of us had 4 beers, 2 doz clams (special), Mac & cheese Gouda bites, 2 steak sandwiches, buffalo chicken sandwich, corn fritters and peanut butter pie (to die for). $73, not including tip. Before moving out of state, I have frequented this location often due to their amazing food specials, fair prices and friendly staff. I often arrived for burger night ($6 burger and fries) or taco night. The portions are HUGE and the food is delicious. One member of our party tried to the tacos (even though they hate tacos) and absolutely loved them. Whatever this place is doing, they should continue doing because it is working well. My only comment is two fold 1) I would suggest additional advertising since this location is off of the main road and many may not be aware of it and the specials and 2) if you are to arrive please arrive early since if they are not busy the kitchen may close early (similar to other local establishments). read more

Done with this place! We have tolerated the waiter who didn't want to be bothered and always makes snarky comments many times because the food was good. Tried to get a table tonight and there were several open in the dining room. Patron at the bar yelled to grumpy sever that we would like a table and we were told we could only sit at the bar. This place has really great food. It is a smoke free environment. The workers are always pleasant. Specials are amazing including Burger Night (Tuesday's) and Taco Night (Thursday's). Wing night is hit or miss but on a good night there are many flavors to chose from. Only complaint is you pay for extra sauce. Friday's is Clam Night, however we chose not to go on Friday's as they charge extra for the butter which is crazy. Not a huge selection of bottle beer to chose from, but drafts are changed with seasonal flavors. At times the place gets packed. The bathrooms are very clean and the overall place is clean. A great place to take the family to eat. At times, the language gets out of control at the bar. Only other suggestion is to offer a variety of desserts and change the soups, it seems they repeat their favorites often. read more

I actually confronted her that week before she stood 12" from us and didnt say hello, or offer to refill our drinks, cheap nite for us... hurts business this girl needs be fired.. place is busier on Tuesday than saturday, whats up with that? Sat at the bar for at least ten minutes before the bartender could ask if we wanted anything. Was nothing but rude and acted like we were a bother. Understand it's a Friday night but as a former bartender it was very unwelcoming. Table service on the other hand has never been an issue.
