I have to write this review to convey how disappointed I am with the unprofessional behavior of this establishment. I had booked a massage for my boyfriend and had expected Darryl to show up to my home, on time at 5:30 pm, ready to provide the service that we had agreed upon. He never called me at 5:30 pm to explain why he was not there for the service. I called him at 5:40 pm, giving him the benefit of the doubt, and he gives me an interesting excuse. He stated that he had come to my house earlier and felt "unsafe" despite being near CSUSB and a children's park. He also stated that even though he had a firearm and was protected, he still felt our neighborhood was "shifty ". He made these judgement calls without meeting us, calling us, or verifying with us. We feel this could have been handled better. We feel he could have been professional. We feel he could have considered our feelings. We feel this business should not be endorsed because it does not deliver on services and is unprofessional with potential customers. UPDATE : the establishment clearly does not understand professionalism. My concern is that he did not call to clearly communicate his concerns and expected us to sit and wait for him, to not show up. I always knew my shoulders and neck were very tight but didn't realize how bad they were until Darryl started working on me. I got an in home massage from Daryl and it was by far the best massage I've ever had, and I've gotten a lot of massages. He's a very intuitive masseur but also asks questions beforehand to get to know where your problem areas are. The details of the service were also top tier, relaxing music, warming pad, sugar scrub, and the CBD oil is a MUST! I slept better than I'd slept in months. My masseuse Darryl brought everything one needed to make my living room into a comfortable massage space included a heated massage table with a headrest, a speaker to play relaxing and meditative music and a crockpot for the hot stones. Darryl was on time and very professional. He asked for check-ins near sore spots to make sure you were comfortable with the pressure applied during the deep tissue massage. Darryl is amazing at what he does! I'm a former yoga teacher and current OrangeTheoryFitness member. My wife and I just bought a camper trailer and we were moving it out of the driveway with a dolly when I hurt my back. About a week later Darryl was Reffered to me by my wife, as she has had a brief chair massage by him when he came to the hospital that she works at. My now 2 experiences with him have awesome! Not only does he give a wonderful full body massage but goes to all the attachments that could be the cause of tightness. He also stretches you in ways you can't experience on your own. That has been invaluable for my aging-injured body. He encouraged me to try an ice bath after the massage which I had heard about before and could never have imagine doing. After he left I got up the gumption to take the ice from the freezer and throw it a tub of cold water. It was frankly quite intense but I was amazed at how I felt afterward! After the second massage he did some cupping which I have had before but a very long time ago. It too helped my body and relieved pain from my muscles.
