I would not recommend this school for anyone at this time. The employee that I have dealt with was more concerned about pointing out all my 2 teens faults than actually helping me address COVID related issues. The staff member continuously argued with me and pointed out areas where I was not correct according to her. She was way more concerned with being right than actually addressing my concerns. I asked to speak with the owner to remedy the situation and she informed me I would not be hearing from the owner. She would inform me of what they said. Ultimately, we have had good experiences here before but at the current time, I would not recommend this school with the current staff.

I came to learn about The Driving Institute, earlier in the year in January - I had a relatively bad experience with another Driving School, after 10hrs of road experience with that school... I was left with no confidence in any of my skills and I barely got any feedback. I booked myself in originally for 2hrs behind the wheel private lessons (which after I passed my driving test - I added in a further 2hrs later in the year to gain some confidence with Interstate and Highway driving), and I must say from the moment I contacted Miranda at The Driving Institute, I was greeted with nothing but friendliness and professionalism. I had my lessons with Mr Rossi [The 2hrs were split into 1hr sessions] and I have to say just after 2hrs, my confidence rose to further than what it was after 10hrs with my previous instructor. He fixed any issues I had within seconds with such simple techniques. He's a great teacher and he knows his stuff! It was well worth my drive from Richardson just for the lessons - I couldn't recommend anyone better to get you ready for these fast and furious Texas roads.

He made me feel very comfortable and would keep explaining the rules and regulations so that it registers in the mind and helps during driving . He's also very approachable and I could ask him lots of doubts regarding driving . It was BS & we ended up using my car. Then during the test, the guy insisted he told me to make a left turn instead of a u turn and failed me just to make an extra $50 on a re-test. I've been driving for years. He wasn't evaluating my driving skills, he was looking for a reason to fail me and make that extra 50 for a re-test. In all fairness, maybe it was the thick accent where the left turn / u turn confusion was.. Ultimately, he was waiting to fail me instead of evaluating my driving skills.
