I went in a couple months ago asking about a piercing that 23rd street said they couldn't do because it was viewed as a body modification. They agreed to do it, and I went in yesterday to see if they gotten in the instruments to do it. They sadly had not, however let me pick out a size for the future piercing, even buying a back up size if that one happens to be too big. But do not be discouraged, I did not leave without getting something done. I got a double conch (orbital after healing process is complete) piercing. let me tell you, I personally thought they hurt more than getting the girls pierced and this man (piercer) was patient as I cussed about it. I was also genuinely surprised on how even they were placed. I had visited a different piercing shop about 5 years ago and got the girls pierced in replacement of the piercing I wanted (hole punch in the upper cartilage of the ear) because they also refused to do it. The girls came out crooked. not if you look straight at them, but if i look down at them, I am presented with the right one being perfectly straight, and the left one at an angle from my ribcage, the outside of the piercing closer to the areola and inside closer to the top of the ni**le. So I wish I would've gone here instead. So if you're interested in getting a piercing, I would encourage you to try here. The atmosphere is pretty laid back, and they are also willing to work with you. They also check on your wellbeing through whatever you're getting done, wether it it a tattoo or piercing. This was my first time coming through One Way Tattoo and I had a great experience! I was greeted by Madison who also helped with my piercings! She threw some details my way about my piercings and advised me about some future complications that may arise (we were piercing through scar tissue) and asked if I was still wanting to proceed with the sesh. I absolutely love that she had asked that question because she wasn't being pushy for the sake of the store's money intake! I had another artist give me multiple compliments on my tattoos while I was waiting, that was another thing that ultimately made me feel me comfortable! Overall, I'd give this place a 10 outta 10. I travel from LA just to have Luis tattoo me. Thats how amazing he is! He has tattooed both my arms and this time he did 2 pieces on my back. The environment and vibe is outstanding!! Everyone is always accommodating and friendly. I travel 8 hours just to get my tattoos done by Luis and will never use anyone else because he gives me exactly what I ask for and his artwork is perfection every time! For our first experience getting tattoo's, we were pleasantly surprised. for a Mothers Day surprise. I gave my wife 3 options on what to do, She picked matching tattoo's. I searched from where we were and One Way tattoo popped up. We more impressed with the shop and everyone working there. We went in for a quick consolation of handwriting tattoos. Whitney was super easy to work with and we were able to get the tattoos same day. The space was clean, welcoming, and laid back.
