So they lost their regional manager named Scott they have a Subway manager named Colin. If anyone was smart would NOT eat there he is NOT up to par and will kill someone he can't even take his OWN testing require by the company he's THAT stupid the last manager Scott Willis took all the tests for him because they were boyfriends and living together and that is a violation against the company handbook. Don't eat at Subway they don't clean out their equipment they have sewer that comes up their pipes and they don't clean the way they need to! There is mold build up in the ovens the bread holding bins they leave dirty dishes for the next shift to be washed. You have employees there that don't pull expired food when it needs to be pulled so your taking the chance of grabbing something that is out of date. They have changed their parking lot so they are pushing their customers away who are truckers. The center console with the coffee and ice and food is always busted it has never been fixed and the employees don't bother to be on top of it. The new GM is only there to try and save the store which honestly is a little too late. None of the employees know what they are doing and need a supervisor or lead who is worth their weight in Gold. I feel for the new GM she has a lot on her to take on that store. It's a shit show and it's only going down they are loosing customers AND employees so that should say something. read more

When I travel, I like stopping by one of those trucks stops to get some coffee. This place has a lot of parking lot and gas and diesel pumps. The lot is very clean and very well taken care of. There are no trash laying on the floor. Mainaince is great. Inside, their employees are nice and friendly. Also in the store, they have everything that you will need for you semi truck suck as lights, oils coolant DEF etc. Pretty much this place has coffee snacks for you to continue on your journey wherever you're heading. I'm highly suggesting to visit this place even thought it could be for a restroom break. I assure you, their restrooms are pretty clean and very well maintained. Sorry I forgot to take so.e pictures. It's my go to place for coffee and gas it's not the nicest or the worst. I use my pilot app and get free coffee and other rewards. It's probably better to just drive a little father to a bigger nicer one. read more

This is hilarity. I thought I would be the only one to write a review for this place. I mean, if you've passed through, you would know why. It's the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE Nevada! Had to fill up on the way to Reno from Pocatello, Idaho. This place was the only place to stop. Had to use the restrooms. THANKFULLY CLEAN!! And not nasty like most gas stations are. Also, because I filled up a certain amount, I got a coupon for $1.00 16 oz tea or coffee. Wanted tea, and I had loose leaf dragon eye oolong. For a $1.00. At a truck stop. Really? Thank you....you made me very happy. Plus they have a Subway too inside or a Burger King across the street. read more

Ok, I've been coming to this truck stop for almost 20 years, on and off. There used to be a truck stop across the street where the hotel is now. It was the Gear Jammer, and it was a dump. Along comes the Pilot and changes all that. When it was new, it was clean and neat - like all new truck stops. Then, as the years went buy, it got dumpy / messy - like all aging truck stops. The Greyhound buses used to stop here (and they still might but I haven't seen any lately) and unload their low-life riders for a break. Wow...... Nuff said. Then they added a casino to the building. Kinda nice - if you like casinos, and most truck drivers like to sit and throw money away for a while. NOT ME. Just sayin'. Since the last time I visited this place, they've completely remodeled it. Just like a new truck stop now. Neat, clean, well organized, and they REALLY went all out remodeling the bathrooms. I was shocked when I walked in. Nice place. The Subway sandwich shop is still there, and they do a pretty good job. All in all, I'd say this is the best place to stop between Battle Mountain and Wells (since Elko is trucker UNfriendly). If you're NOT a 'driver' (term used to designate a professional truck driver, and what pro's affectionately call each other on the CB), you might enjoy seeing what WE think is important stuff (other than the thousands of different types of junk food we eat). Gas prices seem normal for the area. ----------------------------------- 5/19/2012 Stopped here to get diesel for our pickup while on vacation. Their advertised price (on their sign) was $3.99 - best we'd seen. So we pulled up to the pump to fill up. When we accessed the credit card reader the price showing was $4.05. Wifey went in to inquire why and was told "The $3.99 is for cash". Wifey said that's not mentioned on the sign. The sign simply states $3.99/ga. The gal says, "Well, it's for cash". Period. So we left... If I had lots of time to waste I'd have confronted the manager and complained of false advertisement and DEMANDED the advertised price. I agree with a previous reviewer. This Pilot was not a family friendly location. The employees at this location, whether intentionally or not - alllowed smoking inside and the cigarette smell spread throughout the place. We also had a question about pricing. The female cashier was pretty nice and tried to answer it. Her male coworker wasn't as nice and said that the displayed pricing could be outdated and had no idea what he was talking about. We thought he was rude and unprofessional. It's an adequate location to fill up and maybe make a quick stop, but it's not a good place to bring a family and grab lunch. read more

This is the gateway to the middle-of-nowhere Nevada, a very special place. If you were looking to get really lost or lose something that you didn't want anyone to find- I would suggest the drive down highway 278 towards highway 50. Its beautiful out here. I love a good truck stop. This place has all the stuff you need for a long journey to nowhere- DC convertors, CB radio accessories, propane accessories, hair dryers, lint cleaners, clean towels e.t.c. In the corner is a dark and depressing slot machine area. Just clip your credit card to your shirt and sit there for hours pulling the slot lever. Also has a subway sandwich place. You'll be eating a lot of fast food if driving through Nevada. Great truck stop coffee here thats much stronger than your typical watered down gas stop stuff. I recommend mixing your coffee with the specialty mocha machine slew. Big bathrooms in the back that they usually keep clean. Showers too. Hope your enjoy your visit too. read more

I have only been to Pilot gas stations when I traveled long distances. I like it because they have the items I am looking for when driving a long time. They are conveniently located and they are not the highest priced gas station. Therefore Pilot has definitely found a place in my car trip world. read more

I'm gonna describe my review from the family & professional driver point of view..... FAMILY - Parents avoid this stop if you can, this IS NOT a family friendly stop persay. Parking is extremely limited due to car poolers using the lot to park and ride and has a HIGH DANGEROUS RATING Trucks zoom in and out of the parking lots at various speeds so hang on to those little ones who like to scurry away. Their are numourous blind spots due to truckers taking parking into their own hands. Inside the store is small / compact due to a casino. Their is a Subway for food, but it only has 5 tables and is very compacted to 10'x25' seating area. Restrooms are NOT the cleanest and almost half of the mens room stalls & urinals are broken . THIS IS NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY STOP!! PPROFESSIONAL - Where should I begin, First the fuel island is small so waiting is a must. Their is NO TRUCKER LOUNGE due to the casino and if you sit at one of the very small table area shared with the Subway dining the staff will stare an talk about you and not so quietly either plus their is ONLY 1 wall plug to charge ya electronic devices while you relax or eat. Their are showers available but NOT THE CLEANEST just like the store. The casino is very spacious with a nice selection of machines. Their is NOT a garage/service, however their is a limited mechanic service nearby. Parking is very limited as its used more for DROP & SWAP then anything esp. at night noise levels are extremely high from the D&S's. With the amount of doubles & triples in the lots an parked on the right aways its almost like a MAZE to maneuver in and out.. Giving the parking a HIGH DANGER RATING for blind spots and runovers. OVERALL - Very busy stop, Casino should be cut in half to allow for more, more considerable use. The staff like to speak at high volumes (Scream) to each other, while other are very quick to talk about, stare, hover around etc.. My suggestion to EVERYONE..... Avoid this stop if you can. This could be a very respectable stop if owners respected its customers and profession's and provided equal respect to both sides instead of what is clearly a judgemental, selfish greed on their mind. read more

This pilot is smaller than others especially some of the larger ones like the one in winnemucca but it's still rather nice. It only has 3 showers and when I went the coffee was out on all coffee pots so that's a big negative. The parking lot is also filled with potholes and bumps which is rather annoying.
