In the time that has passed, they have threatened to raise our payments and interest rate unless we sign a a power of attorney. They also keep instructing us to "contact your dealer" even though the loan was a refinance. They send us a letter requesting documents which I mail back immediately along with a letter clarifying our position. A week later, corporate emails us saying they received our letter and apologized for the confusion, which was nice. But that very same day we open our mail and find another letter threatening us with a rate and payment increase because they've not received the documents "despite repeated outreach." That's false. We responded to the only letter they sent. It literally said "First notice..." It's clear nobody here knows what's going on. But when their money's on the line, they'll threaten you, blame you, and bury you in their internal mess even when you did exactly what they asked. In the beginning, they even asked to pay for their paperwork. It was only after I refused that they "agreed to waive the fee." Just be careful. If your loan involves a title, get ready for a mess. We are very grateful to this branch for helping us after a security breach on an account that was linked to all of our OneAZ Credit Union accounts. While we were in the midst of escrow, we had a fraud alert and everyone could not have been more helpful, from the teller, Amanda, to the walk in banker, Krystn, and the branch manager, Ryan who waived any cashier's checks fees for us. Krystn was so efficient and reassigned all of our account numbers, issued new bank cards and answered all of our concerns in a timely manner. It is a pleasure to work with an institution where one feels there is genuine concern. We feel like we are valued customers not just another account as we have been at past financial institutions. This has to be by far the worst bank I have ever used! The fact that I pay my bills like a normal person and I know what I need to spend and so on...the fact that stuff falls off and then goes back on after it has said it's been paid has really messed up our finances constantly negative and it's bs and when I try to get things figured out they play the blame game all I wanted was to work on my credit while I pay my bills and instead I'm met with negative customer service and ppl not knowing how to do their jobs read more

Terrible credit union. Not recommended for any reason. Typically bad service, not honest with their loan rates, hold money without cause for longer than any other bank. Overall just bad experiences here over the past two years consistently. Manger is rude and not willing to help and acts "bothered" if any of the other tellers ask her for help. New to the area and needed to establish a new banking relationship. I prefer small, local businesses as opposed to big nationwide ones and the reviews on OneAZ were pretty good. Due to the pandemic, I had to make an appointment, but was able to get one right away. Showed up on time and was taken right in. Opened a savings and checking account and got an ATM card that day. Very friendly and quick. A painless process. They seem to have quite a few branches throughout the area and look to be pretty convenient for my needs. Chose a home town bank over the big boys. I loved this institution when I was living in Prescott, especially the location on Gail Garner Way. But I did have problems at the drive thru on Gurley Street refusing to deposit payroll checks for me, but after speaking to the manager the problem was resolved. I didn't have problems with this bank until I had to come to Texas to help my elderly mother, who has developed problems from a serve case of COVID. My intent is to move back as soon I could get her back on her feet, as I put all my belongings in storage there in Prescott. The deal breaker was when I had an issue with my account and when I called customer service, the girl told me to just close out the account since I'm no longer in the state and hung up on me. The level of unprofessionalism and rudeness she showed me is just intolerable! So I guess OneAZ Credit Union doesn't do business with people out of state? Dumbest thing I've ever heard, banks and credit unions across the country do business in other states since they are in the business of making money. Needless to say, I won't be back, there are other banking institutions in Arizona that I'm sure will be happy to do business with me regardless of where I may be living at the moment. read more

I made a deposit into my OneAZ account from another bank and they put my account on hold. I tried to find out why so I went into the local branch here in Prescott Valley. Talk with Clinton who seemed nice but was taking his sweet time. I was standing at the counter for an hour and a half waiting for him to message with Stacy who is the bank's network security person. She is the one who put my account on hold. Clinton called her and asked me to talk with her because she had some questions for me. Her first sentence was; "tell me about your account"? Haha, really? Tell you what? I'm like tell me why you put my account and my deposit of $2K on hold. I was depositing money from NBAZ to OneAZ so I can do wire transfer to pay my rent. I have a business account at NBAZ and they won't let me do wire transfer from it. I need a personal account to do so but they minimum balance is ridiculous which is why I opened an account at OneAZ. Stacy tells me that some one is trying to login to my account from out of state and wanted to know if I shared any information about my banking with anyone. I said no, why on earth would I do that? I told Clinton that I was using a VPN on my phone and that's probably why my account showed activity from another state. Stacy insisted to keep my account on hold till Friday (this was on Monday) but could not explain why she had to do that. She was supposed to call me back the next day to let me know how her "security" research was going but she didn't. I called the bank, she was not available. Left a message to call me ASAP. She called me back later to tell me that my account will be on hold till Friday. I asked why but she could not come up with an answer. From the get go I felt that she did not like me and that was because I came into the bank in Painters cloths all dirty from a day's work. Clinton asked me to take my mask off and smile at the camera so security could see my face. Yeah, can you fucking believe that? I have not seen any one asking anyone else to take their mask off ever. So I knew from the get go that something was not right there and I was being profiled and stereotyped and discriminated against. The same reason why she insisted to hold my account on hold till Friday without explanation. It made me feel super bad and I couldn't believe something like this was happening to me. She also made me go back to my bank (NBAZ) (fortunatelly right next door) to get a statement from them with a stamp to prove who I was and to see if I indeed had a business account at NBAZ. This is what happens when a bunch of kids run a bank. There is a happy ending coming though... Friday I will close my account and will never do business with OneAZ. I called my bank's support line and it turns out that even though I cannot do wire transfer, I can do Bill Pay from my business account (in spite of what my local branch told me) so I'm good and have no need for OneAZ and would never consider them ever again. read more

I've been a member here for 4 years. It used to be fantastic and easily deserved a 5-star rating. Unfortunately though, I have to close our accounts and go elsewhere for 2 very important reasons. 1) They are not open on Saturday. I work during their exact business hours. So if you have a full-time job, good luck doing any business here. 2) Use a mobile app everyone says... Sure... I used to do that before they stopped supporting my android OS version. My phone is 4 years old, works perfectly well for EVERYTHING except OneAZCU's app. So now I cannot do simple things like make a deposit for the handful of times I need to deposit a check. Before that happened, their app was broken as I couldn't make any transfers using said app. That worked before but eventually broke like everything else. I went to their two ATMs a couple weeks ago and both of them were broken. They couldn't accept deposits. They only were there to take cash out. Being that I cannot get away from my job to get there, I have this check that I cannot deposit. OneAZCU is not convenient and not well maintained. Moving on to something from this century now. read more

I have a 800 credit score, income, and loan to value was 15% but they can't figure it out! Submitted all requested docs and was told "all good". Then darkness- no communication! My work schedule, family schedule, and personal schedule is super hectic especially that I work the graveyard shift. But working the Jessie Pintor has been the best experience. I hate, hate, hate that they changed their name! For that and the fact they are taking forever to add chips to their cards, they lose a star. On a positive note they are the best bank/credit union around around! They are always fast, friendly and accommodating. All of the branches I have been to are clean and up to date (except cottonwood). I've been banking here for years and never have an issue. I love that's coin star is free for members (I use it a lot lol). Best part is they offer free checking, I just have to keep $5 in my savings. Much more convenient for me than previous banks. Slow service, not enough staffing, uncooperative management. The tellers are nice but they are handicapped by bad leadership in management. You can't call this bank and talk to anyone in your local branch. Instead you get someone in Phoenix that sends them an email to call you back, except they don't call you back. You have drive down there to actually talk to them. They have adopted all the bad policies of the big banks like Wells Fargo and charge you for everything they do. I'm looking for a bank that still gives personal service, if that still exists. read more

I seriously love banking here! I haven't live in Arizona in 5 years now and still have had such amazing service with them that I have had no reason to change. I've lived in Georgia and now Hawaii and I still have had no reason to change banks! After having issues with getting a ticket refunded from Delta (Never flying with them again) needed something from them was as easy as logging into my online account and chatting with an assistant who got me exactly what I need in a few minutes. Brandy from the online chat helped me out so much and I am so grateful for everything that I have been through with this bank! I am about to move to Wyoming and I will most likely continue to keep banking with Arizona State Credit Union! read more

They still have hours as if this area is still small town. The area has 150000 people yet not one branch is open on Saturday.

An ok credit union if you live in the vicinity of a branch, but once there isn't one accessible, fees come out of the woodworks! They have no shared branching and their mobile banking does not make up for this. I would not recommend anyone to use this credit union. read more
