Worked for them in Culver City all I can say is this place is horrible. Horrible employees and horrible guest. I didnt mind the cleaning, but they hire such ghetto, unprofessional people to work with. Everybody is loud, cursing, yelling about their baby daddys and when i complained it fell on deaf ears. We had the worst experience with these people since the very first day. The apartment located in East Village (Manhattan) was NOT at the level of an expensive apartment to rent, noisy floors, lousy wifi, all the cabinets sealed for owner privacy and even trash bags covering the cabinets. We were in New York for our daughter's wedding and I needed an upscale apartment for our week long stay. I was very pleased with onefinestay and the property in Park Slope. The location was ideal, just a block from Prospect Park and a few blocks from groceries and restaurants. We were met at the townhouse and given a tour and brief instructions. We also received a phone to use with directions, local interest places and a direct line to onefinestay. We needed a few more chairs and they were delivered promptly. They also delivered a bottle of champagne when they realized we were there for a wedding! The cleaning people came in mid-way through the week and were cheerful and accommodating. They did a fine job! We hosted a brunch on Sunday and the caterer was impressed with the space as were my guests. I have nothing bad to say about the experience and will be happy to use them again. read more

I stayed with onefinestay twice in New York. Both properties were very unique. While New York hotel rooms are generally very small, onefinestay's properties offer space and living like a local experience. Having lived in NY for many years, it was very cool to come back to a home instead of an hotel. A onefinestay representative greets you upon arrival to walk you through the property. They give you the iPhone with a guest app that tells you everything about the home and the neighborhood. Linen and turndown service are akin to the hotel. Toiletries and thoughtful extras are placed throughout the property so you really feel at home. Can't wait to try onefinestay in Paris. read more

Please be careful with these people. I could not come to london because I got covid and covid was rampant in London over Xmas '21. My airline, theatre, etc tickets were refunded. One fine stay did not, hid behind 'senior management decision' and 'it's up to the owner'. And, of course, the fine print. Just rented a beautiful upscale brownstone in Boerum Area of New York. This was our first time using Onefinestay, and we were very pleased! I love the constant communication and willingness to answer any questions/concerns we may have. They stayed in touch with us during our complete stay, insuring our stay was enjoyable! The home was absolutely stunning & in a very nice area! We love to cook, and the kitchen was completely stocked with all we needed and more! We have been loyal customers of Vrbo, and though will continue to use them, I will search the onefinestay site first! read more

NOT A FINE STAY. We rented a really nice apartment for a whole month in Paris. We stayed right off Avenue St. Germain. We spent nearly 13,000 USD. I have never felt more ripped off in my life. SCAM after SCAM. We visited the apartment nearly 6 months before and we very impressed. When we arrived for our stay half of the appliances were not working. The bathroom emanated of stink I have never smelled before. Worst of all there were red stickers everywhere. We barely had room for our own clothing. We were forbidden to watch t.v. And worse of all, the neighbors were not ok with the rental in the building and came down to harass us daily. When we called ONE FINE STAY... they ignored us at first and said they were incapable of resolving any of our issues. We ended up paying them a surprise visit at the Paris office in hopes of getting someone to care about our serious concerns. Upon arrival at the office, we discovered that the organization is being run by kids. No one took us seriously and in the end were credited 800 euros and nothing was fixed or resolved. We couldn't even cook in the kitchen. We ended up having to spend 2 weekends in a hotel. WOW!!! I waited a few months before posting this review in hopes they would have a change of heart and do the right thing...They did not. SO disappointing. My advice: If you want to spend money with One Fine Stay... you should just BURN IT. I promise it will give you more joy than giving these folks your money. This Pseudo"organization" should be closed down for taking advantage of people. BE WARE OF THE SCAM. Stay somewhere else, Stay with someone else and STAY AWAY from ONE FINE STAY! read more

OFS in New York is not on the same level of experience as OFS in London. It is a Good stay (comparitavely), but not a Fine stay. This conclusion was drawn from having stayed in each city multiple times with OFS, over the last few years. Where OFS NYC really lacks is communication and due diligence practices. Our "manager" was MIA during the 2 pivotal times - the arrival and the departure. When we had an issue with our initial accommodation, with condescending dismissal we were told that we should have read the fine print. We did, the fine print (or the photography) did not cover embedded foul smells, deep filth, broken aircons, filthy + broken kitchen/laundry equipment, a tiny bed, squeaky matress, smelly pillows, etc. This person has misconstrued our comments to the supervisor that we simply didn't like the visual aesthtics. Most communication with the "manager" took place via impersonal emails that ended with phrases like "have a great day", without resolving the issues. After several exchanges, I have come to realize that the "managers" have not even been to the properties or understand the level One Fine Stay should meet, and therefore could only refer to the fine print. If you are thinking of staying with OFS, I suggest to put together a list of questions of what's important for YOUR comfortable stay and send them in before you book. There are no refunds, after 24 hours of booking. OFS asks you to fill out a questionnaire that includes questions about your flight + arrival details. We filled it out twice but it seems that the appropriate person in NYC doesn't read them. If your flight is running late or early, you have to call them to make sure they are aware. Our manager was not tracking our flight (with technology today, it's as easy as a touch of a button) and did not check emails after 5:30pm or during the weekends. The superstar of our experience was the Direction of Operations. She was highly professional, reliable and a problem solver. Most importantly she understands the definion of a fine stay and the level of service that goes into that. Actually, everyone who works directly under her was great. Unfortunately, she can't be in 10 places simultaneously and do everyone's job. The experience in London, as a guest, has been great. Communication is quick, courteous and reliable. Homes, old or new, are always clean, well equipped and comfortable. read more

What a terrible experience. I just spent a week in Grand Cayman that travel keys/One Fine Stay almost ruined. We arrived at the house to find a home that was almost unrecognizable... talk about false advertising. The home was to sleep 12 but only sat 6 at the dinner table, crappy plastic table outside with a couple dirty chairs, only maybe 5 lounge chairs, dirty furniture, mold smell, rusty appliances and to top it off we were getting water boarded in the middle of the night from the air conditioner vents dripping all over us. We complained to the local concierge and received only a defensive attitude and emailed travel keys but didnt hear back for 3 days. We couldnt even stay at the house and had to find another home due to the conditions. Travel Keys and One Fine Stay is giving us a terrible time for a refund. This company apparently is just a "reservation" taker with no desire or ability to remit a refund unless they receive funding from local property management or owners. I am a huge fan of onefinestay. I stayed in a very reasonably priced one bed flat in London a few years ago and it just made the trip. The apartment was on a beautiful block lined with townhouses. The key to the flat was out of a Jane Austin novel and I had to bend down to insert the key as the keyhole in the door was more than a foot below the doorknob. But then I walked into a very modern well-appointed flat. I just returned from a week in Miami where I stayed in a 1914 cottage. The neighborhood it was in, Coconut Grove, became a part of Miami in 1925. I looked all over the internet for a charming cottage to stay in where you could really "feel" Miami and I couldn't find anything until I remembered onefinestay and it was exactly what I was looking for. The pictures don't do it justice. There were 50 palm trees in the small front/side yards - totally dreamy like I was in another world. I am always the most finnicky person in any group especially with regard to design. One bad bed and breakfast decor accent and you have lost me. I love the fact that onefinestay assures me a certain standard while giving me character and charm. I loved the Le Labo products in my Miami bathroom with the wood flooring, clawfoot tub, rusted brass sink fixtures and wood framed window looking out onto a crazy tropical vine of leaves a foot long. For me personally, I think the equation to a soul-filling vacation is to rent a house with onefinestay standards so you can just hang out and relax and not feel like you have to go out do things to make the most of your vacation all the while getting a bit deeper into another local culture. Unhappy homeowner: I've listed my Brooklyn townhouse with onefinestay for the past few years and have been generally satisfied with the quality of customer service and the condition of the house at the end of a rental period. I am very unhappy, however, with two recent experiences in which I was contacted about "last minute" rentals within a day or two of the rental period. Twice now, I have been told a guest had "booked" the house and, in an attempt to be accommodating, have spent considerable time on the eve of my own travel preparing the house (moving musical instruments, putting away valuables, updating instructions, changing the schedule of my house keeper and repairman, letting my college-aged children know they couldn't use the house in my absence, etc.), only to discover during my trip or upon my return home that "the guest had changed their mind" and the house hadn't been rented out after all. The more recent time this occurred, the cancellation happened less than 24-hours before the 9am deadline for the host to vacate the premises. When I asked for a de minimus cancellation fee of 1 night on a five night rental, I was turned down. In a retaliatory move that, if it were to take place in an employment context could easily result in a law suit, I received an email after my second attempt to negotiate a reasonable cancellation fee, stating essentially that my services were no longer required: The sentence "As this guest did not end up booking your home, unfortunately there is no compensation we're able to offer, as this was not a cancellation." was directly followed by the sentences: "Separately, I did want to reach out to you, as we've recently reviewed your home, recent guest feedback, and how your home currently fits into our portfolio. Since we started listing your home in 2014, we have learned more about the type of home our guests are looking for, and we've discovered that our guests' tastes have changed as the market has changed. We're always working to refine our portfolio, and as such, we do need to make difficult decisions from time-to-time. After reviewing your home with our team and discussing the recent demand we have seen, we believe it will be best to formally end our partnership in your home at this time." Needless to say, at that point, the feeling was completely mutual. I'm currently reviewing my options with respect to being compensated fairly. I would recommend that home owners - especially those who care enough about potential renters to spend time and effort making the rental experience as pleasant as possible (eg rescheduling home repairs so as not to interfere with guests' enjoyment, changing a housekeeper's schedule to accommodate rental dates, etc.) think twice about signing up with onefinestay. I've read the other reviews, and while the customer service folks at onefinestay are very polished and talk a good game, I find myself agreeing with the reviewers who feel that the company is too profit-driven to maintain successful relationships with home owners and guests over the long haul. read more

I had a very frustrating experience with One Fine Stay and am writing this review to improve experiences for future travelers. I would not recommend booking with One Fine Stay because they are actually only intermediary booking agents - it is possible to book many of the properties they list directly through owners and condo management offices. If you book directly you will have much better recourse if things go awry. In my case, I requested a six night stay at a condo in Hawaii, was billed for 7 nights, only caught the mistake on the morning I checked out (after six nights) and was told, in so many words, "too bad, you paid already and we have no recourse with the actual management company. Pity you didn't catch the mistake before. Now that you've already paid there is nothing to be done". I was told the case would be reviewed by senior management but was never given their contact and never heard from them. Despite having a chain of emails showing the miscommunication with One Fine Stay, the company offered to do nothing. Save your holiday and book with someone else. If you HAVE to work with One Fine Stay, request to deal with someone other than Denise Pancurak (amazingly rude) or Bobbi Owens (the one responsible for the miscommuncation on my holiday). And if you want to book a unit at The Whaler in Maui like we did (we loved the property) go directly to the Whaler Investments website Vacation_Maui. Their offices are at the Fairway shops right there in Maui, and with them you will be dealing directly with management. Good luck!!! read more

We rented our home out over Xmas in NYC. One Fine Stay came to review our home (Edward to be exact) as I had told them we had made some changes. They did not catch that in our listing a full bed had changed to a twin which ended up causing the renters great problems. They decided to give the renters a discount and take half of our rent on top of their huge margin. We explained it was their fault as they had come to check it but they said in their documents they are not liable. This was beyond horrible customer service when it was clearly their fault. We will never ever use them again. read more

We just stayed at a onefinestay in the east village for four nights as we were preparing to drop off our daughter for her freshman year at NYU and it was ideal!! A gorgeous home in a great area with far more space than a hotel room (or two) could have provided. And walking distance to the university! And the service level that onefinestay offers makes life so much easier - in advance of our arriving to New York we had ordered online some things like bedding for our daughter's dorm room. Onefinestay allowed us to have it sent to their office, then delivered it to the place we were staying once we arrived!! That's a service offered by hotels, but not VRBOs or airbnbs. We'll definitely be using onefinestay again and again!! read more

I have a loft in downtown Manhattan that I rent through airbnb. I thought I would give OneFineStay a try because of their turnkey service -- especially cleaning before and after guests arrive. I didn't have a good experience with the company or its clients. I found that when people rent through airbnb they see themselves as renting from a person. When they rent via OneFineStay the perception changes to renting from a company. As a result, I had many of OneFineStay guests break things or drink my wine, which I didn't experience with airbnb. In addition, OneFineStay take half the income for their services. Last, the cleaning service is not very skillful. For example, I would come home to a kitchen with pots in the dishcupboard and dishes in the stove drawer. Or the bed would be made but without a top sheet. So while I would have liked to continue to rent out my space through this service, in the end it just wasn't worth it. I ended up making much less with them and having a lot of hassle on top of it. read more

I had been planning my husbands 40th Birthday Trip to Turks and Caicos for4 years. I finally decided on using OneFineStay to assist with our plans. Elizabeth Philippe was the only saving grace of my experience otherwise, I would not recommend or use their service AT ALL. For the year leading up the trip, I worked with Elizabeth, she was able to work out some flexibility for me in finalizing plans for the trip and went above and beyond. Once our portion of organizing the trip was complete, our trip plans were forwarded to concierge, (mid-July) to a woman named Jennifer, who would be handling setting up transportation and activities and anything else we wanted/needed, one month prior to our travel dates. It all went downhill from there! She was late emailing confirmation documents, would request information and not respond in a timely manner (a week at minimum for a response), made excuses every time and didn't know how to do her job properly. I had to reach out to Elizabeth to assist, and at one point, escalate my concerns to Jennifer's boss (whom never returned my call). Jennifer lied to us about the transportation company they used (Majestic Transportation), said the company they used was vetted (and after some strange incidences, we found out from the gate agents at the airport that Majestic was BANNED from the Airport for threatening to physically harm someone). She also didn't tell us that they company we rented jet ski's from, which she suggested, offered a free ride to and from the beach where we jet ski'd. Majestic was rude, unprofessional and really awful to my guests and me, they were also REALLY expensive. When we arrived at the villa, we never had a proper walk through, so many things were wrong in the home and not working or functioning properly (and had to be noted and fixed, some were fixed and some were not) Like, the freezer NEVER freezing any of our frozen items, grill not working, etc. We constantly had to call the house manager AND OneFineStay concierge Jennifer to rectify the situation. She did nothing. We had 10+ guests and while the stay was wonderful, because WE made it wonderful, we had so many inconveniences and disappointments. We paid a lot of money for our stay, between the cost of the villa and our transportation, we were lied to and not very happy about the way we were treated, by OneFineStay. The day we left the island, I let Jennifer (at OneFineStay) know that I'd requested (2 days prior) to change the cc I used to book, and about all of our grievances in a LONG email, and all Jennifer (concierge) could ask us is "when would Majestic get the rest of their payment?" After I expressed my concerns, I was told that I would be assisted by Zach, whom did the initial "investigation", and then Ben who emailed to say that he spoke with the house managers and Majestic and they apologized, but they expected them to be paid for their services and offered nothing else to rectify the situation. I didn't agree. In the meantime, Majestic was told to contact me DIRECTLY to rectify payment. What kind of company gives the owners the okay to reach out to clients who paid them directly for services? Jennifer said that she thought it was okay and told Majestic to do this. Ben also stated that the 10% credit they offered (as a first attempt to get me to "get over it") would not be honored if I didn't pay the transportation company. The agreement for Majestic was 50% at booking (July) and the balance at the end of the trip (August 27th). They never took the 50% and then when I wasn't happy with the service, and felt we deserved a discount, they ignored me and stop answering my emails and never returned my call. It's been two months and I've still heard from no one. I will NEVER use OneFineStay again, and suggest anyone who does do their research. Again, our trip was FUN because WE made it fun! read more

The original concept behind OFS was brilliant: assure high-quality, short-term residences that rise to luxury hotel standards but provide the charm and comforts of home. Who wouldn't pay a premium for that, right? Caveat Emptor! One Fine Stay disappoints at every turn. The originators sold to a corporate team that's mismanaged the brand and is now filled with panic about their wobbly bottom line. The result? Shabby, even dirty, properties that bear little resemblance to the slick photos on the OFS site, and unresponsive service provided from a distance (most calls are automatically routed to London or LA; "local" help in other venues is not reliably available.) A staff of feckless 20-somethings are utterly untrained in high-end, professional hospitality. They are adept, though, at gouging guests to extract the marginal Euro desperately sought by senior management to keep the foundering enterprise afloat. If you complain, you're met with the company's pleasant -- but cynical -- reply that appears repeatedly in response to negative reviews on this site: "Thank you for your feedback. This experience is certainly not what we aspire to at Onefinestay." What them worry? They've locked in your hefty deposit well in advance. You're left with no recourse, no refund. One Fine Stay? We used One Fine Stay twice in New York - once at a property in Williamsburg and once in Fort Greene. Both apartments were gorgeous and the service was wonderful and responsive. We were traveling from Asia with small children and it made such a difference to have someone on site to greet us and then help us as little things came up throughout our stay. I would definitely rent from them again. read more

We rented from OneFineStay at Christmas in New York and were very pleased with the service provided by the company. They gave us an iPhone and invited us to call 24/7 if we needed anything. We made a few small requests and got prompt attention. The place was very large -- ideal for a family gathering -- and the kitchen must have been designed by chefs, making it easy to prepare meals and save the money we would have spent on restaurants. The weather was especially cold, and one member of our party was in his 90's, so we were glad to be able to hang-out and enjoy ourselves without taking cabs or standing in line for a table. We liked working with OneFineStay. It combined the best aspects of a hotel -- accountability and service -- with the joys of home. As with many online listings, the best features of our historic house were shown, but there was no mention of the quirks often associated with older properties. Still, we would happily rent from this firm again. read more
