My first concern was when I called to schedule my Groupon appointment. The phone was not answered professionally. When I asked who I was speaking with, the response was, "Well, who are you trying to call?" This immediately made me question whether I wanted to keep the appointment. She later apologized and explained that someone had been "playing on her phone," which I appreciated. During that conversation, I was told a code would be sent for building access. It was never sent, and I had to follow up multiple times. I didn't receive the code until mid-morning Saturday, the day of our appointment. We arrived at 3:00 p.m. for our couples massage, but no one was there. We stood in the hallway waiting for her and her partner to arrive. Once inside, we were asked to sit on the sofa while the room was prepared. We were not offered water, a mimosa, or any refreshment. When shown to the massage room, we were instructed to undress and get on the tables. No robes were offered. Before the massage, I explained that I work at a desk and sit most of the day, so I specifically wanted my back and shoulders addressed. I also explained that my partner is a truck driver and that I was concerned about the tension in his back. Although we booked Swedish massage, we communicated that we wanted most of the time focused on our backs. I even offered to pay the additional $25 per person for deep tissue. Unfortunately, during my massage, the therapist could clearly feel the knots and tension in my back but essentially passed over them rather than working them out. I left feeling that the areas I specifically identified were not adequately addressed. My partner was happy with his massage, although it was his first and he had no basis for comparison. His only concern was the therapist's breath when speaking closely to him, which should be considered when working in such close proximity to clients. We did tip well because we appreciate people's time and effort. However, overall, I felt my money could have been better spent. I would have rather paid a little more for the polished experience I expected, which I now intend to visit the other therapist recommended at the Omni to address the tension that wasn't relieved. I'm sharing this review in hopes the owner will take the feedback constructively. Clients are paying for an experience--not just a massage. Professional communication, preparation, hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail all matter. Unfortunately, I would not return to or recommend Honeybee Massage & Wellness. I sincerely hope they use this feedback as an opportunity to improve and "up their game.

I've been going to Cedrick for almost 4 months now and let me tell you, each "xperience" is better…read morethan the last. Why? He never performs the same routine every time you come to see him. He performs based on what he notices each visit and he is never robotic. He definitely freestyles which is what I appreciate. I started out going to him just for stretch therapy. Now it's stretch and massage therapy. My last visit he noticed tension in my neck, my shoulders, my hands, and even my underarms (lymph nodes). He's always checking in to make sure you're ok, if you're comfortable, the pressure, etc. You can request any music you'd like while he is performing. He makes it literally the best "xperience" for you each time you come to see him. And he's down to earth. Really nice person. If you go to him, you'll never want to go to any other massage therapist ever again. I'll bet you money on that too ;)

One therapist was ALL ATTITUDE another didnt communicate and it was super frustrating. As a retired LMT of 21 yrs I expected better customer service and better massages. The massage rooms are cold and when I commented to the therapist how cold I was she didnt offer to turn on a table warmer (if they even have them). Instead she put on a fan! It was definitely all about her comfort and nothing about the clients! This seems to be an ongoing issue with this place. Happy customers are returning customers and Im not a happy customer. My gift card is used up now so I won't be returning and do not recommend this place.
