All asking for "diagnostic fees" and have various upsells and fees depending if it had this or that, iRescue was the first spot they seemed so casual.. over the phone he asked for us to just swing by and within 15min he'll know if he can fix it or not. No sales tactics and nothing merely than just a conversation. He told me the price for a screen replacement since he believed (phone unseen at this point) that would most likely be the issue. We ended up waiting a day, then going with iRescue. They ended up replacing the screen and calling us that it's ready for pickup. Although it's not an OEM screen, this merely buys us time until the "latest and greatest" phone is released.

My husband busted some pixels in his screen on his Google Pixel 7 Pro phone and I messaged a few vendors looking for replacement. Andre's response was quick, detailed, but to the point. He was able to order parts, explained the difference between after market and OEM without selling it and have it repaired the next day within an hour as promised! Very friendly and welcoming, not scammy at all which is generally the vibe I get from cell phone repair folks. Would come back again for future repairs, but hopefully don't have to!

This is a tough review to write because until yesterday, I trusted Gadgetmates--especially…read moreJonas--completely. I've recommended them, defended them, and even did so in-store less than 24 hours before this went sideways. Then it fell apart. I dropped off my laptop at 2:30 p.m. for what I was told was a simple job: remove a RAID controller, copy data, and install a second SSD. I was promised it was "easy," that data transfer was the only real step, and that I'd have it back by 2 p.m. the next day. I was signed up for text updates--none came. At 5:45 p.m. that same day, I called to check in. I was told the transfer was "60-70% done." Two other people heard that call. The next day was a string of delays, missed calls, and vague updates. By 4:30 p.m.--well past the promised deadline--I finally learned the truth: no data had been transferred, no work had been done, and the laptop hadn't even been turned on. (Alienware logs don't lie.) Then came the real problem: Jonas. Instead of owning the failure, he pivoted to condescension and denial--telling me I "don't understand RAID," insisting no one promised a next-day turnaround, claiming my SSD was defective (it isn't), and denying statements multiple people heard firsthand. In short, the story changed, the facts didn't, and I was treated like the problem. Meanwhile, I can't get anyone to tell me my data was safe; I was panicking as any normal person would. I have backups, scattered across several drives and will take days to recover to 90% of what was on the laptop. I got the laptop back around 5 p.m., untouched until 3:30 that afternoon--hours after I was told work was already mostly complete. How do I know this? Because every powerup, every keystroke is logged by the laptop's security system. See shots below: One can see exactly when it was plugged in. Mistakes happen. I can deal with delays and mistakes. We're all human. What I don't tolerate is being misled, talked down to, and effectively called a liar when there's clear evidence otherwise, indicating precisely who did what and when. Curious isn't it, how some business project their own failings onto others, rather than just honestly owning the problem and making it right? That's how I manage my clients, anyway. Explain the failure, offer a solution, make it right, and everybody stays friendly. I'd never consider insulting a client; it cost a lot to gain them, and it's easily 30X more costly to lose one. Clients share experiences. Here, and elsewhere. And people trust those shares of personal experiences. shared on review sites. As I'll do on every review site I can find after the insults tossed at me. What a shame; my most trusted go-to gone means now finding their replacement.

Although I haven't needed any repairs as of late so I haven't had the opportunity to use this mobile service ", I won't take my devices to anyone else in Vegas about a year and a half ago my teenage Autistic t son's iPhone stopped charging and when I could get it charged the battery life was crap. My usual course of action is "get a new one" but I just had too much on my plate and my son's patience when it comes to being without his phone is rather thin which in turn makes my patience wear thin so for the first time "EVER" I was going to try and find a place to fix it. One thing is for sure, gadget repair places are abundant here in Vegas so I mapped the closest one to me at the time to see if it even could be repaired. The initial location I went to was no longer there so that was a bust. The second place needed an appointment because their "guy" was swamped and another was out that day. The third, is CLOSED at 5pm! Not off to the best start and having to have my mom hang out at my place with him whilst on this mission I was going to give up for the day due to the heat when the side of cnn me that must accomplish something scrolled to the next place which was on my way home anyhow. The technician at this place was honest, knowledgeable, and always delivered quality work. In a year and a half, he has fixed 6 devices for me! And Now He's Mobile!!! read more

Shelton is amazing!!! I visited Vegas from California and accidentally left my work phone there. It luckily found its way to Shelton and boy did he take care of me. Not only did he ship it back to California for me but he fixed it. Replacing the cracked screen and adding a top tier privacy screen as well. Honestly the phone looks better than when I bought it from the Apple Store. My work phone I use more than my personal phone so to have it in such caring and honest hands I couldn't ask for more. I brought an iPad in for a screen repair and it was ready the next day. Unfortunately, after taking it home, I found a dead spot near the middle of the screen. So, a few days later, I returned to the store and they fixed the issue under their warranty (you can find it on their website). Personally, my affinity from this shop comes from their willingness and eagerness to resolve the matter at hand. They were upfront about wanting to spend more time with the iPad to test it and make sure everything is working properly before I picked it up again.

What the heck do we pay insurance for if that's considered a "check up." Immediately went to the AT&T store in the same complex for assistance.
