About a week before leaving for the holidays, we called Lissette and she happily agreed to watch our two cats. A few days into our trip, something came up that made us extend. No problem, a quick text to Lissette and she assured us that all is taken care of. Our cats even ran out of food during the trip. Instead of having to order a bag online and have it shipped, Lissette went to the exact pet store we fequent and get the exact same bag of food we feed our cats. One thing I really liked about her services, beside the crazy affordable rate, was that she requested payment at the end of the service. She wanted to make sure we were happy with her feeding, litter clean-up, etc. Additonally, my cats are very shy. I warned her that she may not see either of them for a few days. Well, 2 days into her stopping over, both I received a photo of both cats cuddling up to Lissette! Oh, and she offers to take in your mail, newspaper, and any other normal house sitting services that I did not expect from a pet sitter!

Boarded my Golden Retriever at this facility that he loves including the employees, but somehow they ignored something that could have been avoided. Upon my arrival I was notified about "scabs" on my dogs ear & stomach area. The employee who bought my dog out was unaware of this situation, but, was able to find a scab around his ear area & none on his tummy. Later in the day, he had this unusual odor that wasn't from playing with other dogs. Upon doing a full examination on him, I discovered multiple fresh & old scab wounds on both ear areas, & also discovered a hotspot that has been there for-- i don't know how long. I further did my examination and notice an another hotspot on his neck area. After speaking with the owner of the facility, he told me that the groomer did notice both hotspots, but, from her perspective "it wasn't that bad nor smell". If you see closely in the images you can see this didn't happen overnight; & unfortunately, the groomer proceed to bathe my dog without contacting me first to aware me of the situation. With her proceeding with the bathe it probably made both hotspot area worse if she didn't use the proper shampoo, & conditioner. The owner of the facility proceeded to tell me it's because the groomer notice that area was "matted". As a dog owner, & someone that checks their dog before dropping him off for boarding or daycare to avoid situations like this. I told him, there was no way in hell he was matted when I dropped him. it had to be after he was playing with the water or hose, & your employees failed to dry him off proper causing a hotspot to build up. As the owner of the facility agree to disagree with me, apologize about the situation, & will note it for next time. But he believed his employees did "everything" they can in this situation. After paying a large amount for my dog to be boarded just for him to be neglected, & having to be pay for medications because the place fail to take care of my dog. They don't care about your animals. only the money. the fact that the groomer still processed with the bath that shouldn't been- says about the people that works here and the company itself. just watch out for your animal well being!

It's important to us to be able to have the dogs stay at home when we're away so having someone come to the house is absolutely incredible. Lauren and her staff have always been great with our dogs and even when something hasn't 'gone well' (let's just say intestinal distress) they've been great about cleaning up and contacting us. It's also great that since they come to our house instead of boarding the dogs we kind of get a built in house sitter too-not that there's any reason to break in (besides, the dogs would love a chance to sic balls). If you're tired of boarding your dogs and live in the Morris County area I wholeheartedly recommend Canine Concierge. Your pets will be well cared for and won't be so stressed when you come home. I envy Lauren and her business...sometimes I wish I could spend each day just taking care of dogs...
