Ono-you got found out. We ordered 3 small acai create-your-own bowls plus 2 extra toppings at $1.75 each. Why did the girl ring me out for $39!?!? Ididn't sit right with me that it was so expensive considering the price for a small was $6 which consist of 3 free toppings and free sauce. When I got my order the bowl was maybe less than 8 oz if that and they skimped on the toppings. I asked for my receipt and she actually charged me for an extra bowl. Tell me how a person preppin the bowls doesn't make 4 bowls when reading off the receipt/order?!? The bowls were good since it was all natural toppings. But they also forgot one of the toppings i paid for. They never offered a receipt. Lesson learned...ALWAYS ASK FOR YOUR RECEIPT!! She refunded me once I caught the mistake. Good refreshing Fro-yo food truck place with many selections of desserts. I was way too excited with the great reviews on Yelp but I concluded it was just a bit overrated. The fruit bowl was delicious but didn't stand out, compared to the other dessert places. The medium bowl we got was $9 which a bit costly compared to the value what you got. The fruits were good and went well with the Fro-yo. They have cute seating area that's perfect for friends/families to chill out have desserts. At first I was somewhat skeptical that the frozen yogurt would be that good coming from a food truck. I was used to going to the self service froyo places where you mix 10-15 different flavor combos and then load up with all the toppings you want and then pay by the ounce. The thing I have learned to love about Ono Yo is that their flavor combos are great and help to bring out the flavor of the yogurt. I love berries and when i get a berry combo here they load it up. While they only offer 2 flavors at a time they are good and wholesome. They do not use HFCS or any Corn Syrup for that matter. They use a Greek Yogurt blend with natural sugar and natural ingredients. Their product has live cultures and tastes amazing. While you wont be able to add copious amounts of candy or items on top of your creation you can be assured that theirs is ONO. read more

I must say. I'm super happy this exists and is open till 9! Not many places on this side of the island are open till 9. The lilikoi butter is a must have. They make it themselves. Stopped by for a taste of frozen yo! Read their website before visiting to really appreciate this small business. They offer a greek frozen yogurt and a true Brazilian açaí and a variety of toppings. I ordered a yogurt with fruit, chia seeds and lilikoi butter. The yogurt was a bit on the soft side (needed longer to freeze) but had a terrific taste. According to their webpage, they make batches throughout the day, so I didn't ding them on that. They were short or out of a couple of the fresh fruit toppings, but also I understand that food waste management. It's been pretty warm and I'm sure fresh fruit doesn't stay that way long in the heat. Also, in fairness, I stopped by around 6 PM, which is late in the day (they close at 7 PM on Sunday). The lilikoi butter topping was delicious and added a terrific contrast against the tart Greek yogurt. The flavors are unique, and the fresh fruit toppings and sauces are to die for! A nice little place for some frozen yogurt in one of my more frequented food truck parks. They have a few pre-made options of toppings, yogurt, and 'sauce' toppings. If you don't like their pre-made options you can choose your own combo. They typically run 2 or 3 flavors. If it is a little earlier in the day sometimes they don't have all the flavors ready. Not a huge problem as I have yet to have a flavor I didn't really like but it can be a bummer if you see something on the menu and get hooked. Good place. This is probably my favorite frozen yogurt place ever! It's off the side of the main road going around the island and is in a group of other food trucks (which all looked pretty good and I'd like to go back and check out). Their base of plain tart was very good and then they do one flavor a day, which we didn't try on the day we went. I got a kids size with pineapple, macadamia nuts and lilikoi butter and all of those toppings were amazing. The pineapple especially was very ripe and the lilikoi butter delicious and unique. As I was eating shrimp at Giovanni's I noticed another lunch wagon next to them with the name Ono Yo. Me and my fiance and friend decided to check it out after we were done eating at Giovanni's. I'm so glad that we did. This lunch wagon is located off of Kamehameha highway next to Giovanni's Shrimp truck. It is a frozen yogurt lunch wagon that serves two flavors of yogurt original and apple. (Not sure is the apple flavor is a permanent flavor or if they switch it out on different days.) They also have various toppings and sauces. They also have a creations board that showcases 11 different creations you can choose from if you don't want to create your own. I decided on getting the "Snow storm" which is plain yogurt with macadamia nuts, mini marshmellows, shredded coconut, and condensed milk. My fiance got the "Peanut Butter Cup" which is plain yogurt, peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, and chocolate-hazelnut sauce. My friend got the "Bliss bowl" which is choice of yogurt (he got the swirl of plain and apple) granola, sliced almonds, banana, and honey. All three of our creations were AWESOME!! The yogurt was good and the toppings and sauces were sooo good. Prices start at 5.00 if you want a creation bowl but if you just want yogurt only then it starts at 3.50 for a 6oz. and toppings are 0.50 each and is cash only. If you are ever on that side of the island this place is worth checking out. =) read more

We couldn't find it at first, but it's actually right by the famous Giovanni's shrimp truck, along with a few other food trucks. They offer s lot of different flavors and toppings. We got the PBJ and added pineapples. It was okay, but didn't satisfy my husband's acai bowl craving. He thought a fro yo would have done the trick, but sadly this cup didn't.
