Let's be clear...to get a 5 STAR review you need a couple things. 1. A memorable experience that is worth telling people about. 2. A desire to come back! 3. RARELY on vacation will I eat at a place TWICE but occasionally, there is such a place and Deez Bowls is now one of them! Deez Bowls is a food truck in a North Shore institution that includes the famous Giovanni's (too buttery for me). You will find food trucks aplenty anchored by Seven Brothers Kitchen and Market. I ordered the combo bowl of Spicy Ahi and Garlic shrimp! So flippin good!!! The portions were generous with 6-7 sautéed shrimp with minced garlic and not overly buttered like other trucks. The Ahi was cubed small enough to fit in a good portion with light fluffy rice and the sauce was flavorful without being overwhelming! Seating is plentiful on this Sunday with picnic tables everywhere and beautiful weather. The aloha service was outstanding with Marte (Mcfly lol) and Aloe taking excellent care of me and making conversation! At the End of the Day this is a mood and taste choice out of the plethora of food trucks. Tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago and will not go back! 1. Tried to charge me $50 for two plates when the board says $20 each 2. Our order was wrong 3. The LauLau was still frozen 4. The pastele was two different colors. One looked burnt the other was okay. I asked for my money back for the bad plate. Stopped in for lunch with some friends. Love this place. They are very friendly and accommodating. Father and son Ikaika owner makes everyone feel so comfortable while sharing the Aloha Spirit. Their lunch wagon is clean and well protected from flying bugs with protected screens. The food is made to order very fresh and all flavorful. I had steak and shrimp which was very good and big portioned. The big shrimp was peeled and de-veined yet very tasty. The steak was made to order medium rare and well seasoned. We didn't try any of the bowls, but we did order the Brown Sugar Shaken Coffee and the Matcha, and both were absolutely delicious. The Brown Sugar Shaken Coffee was smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. The Matcha was equally impressive--rich, creamy, and well-prepared without any bitterness. Based on the drinks alone, we'd definitely come back. Beware, this buisness does not take food allergies seriously. We ordered a steak bowl and told the cashier that we had a seafood allergy. The bowl had imitation crab in it and the cashier did not tell us about that. We took the bowl back and asked for a new plate. She said she would only make the steak not the entire plate because it was almost gone. We literally ate 3 pieces of the steak and ONE bite of the Mac that had the imitation crab when we realized that it had that. Even after she's the one that messed up, she still had the audacity to act mad. Food allergies are a serious matter! read more

Been here twice in 3 days-So good!! Their adobo pork belly, steak, and ahi tuna bowls were all delicious. For a few dollars more you can get two meats instead of one. Our favorites are the pork belly and steak but you can't go wrong with any of them, especially if you have a preferred meat or something just sounds good. They were out of the pan seared chicken so looking forward to having that soon. The service is awesome and they really make sure you're getting what you want. We live in California and we've had our share of Poke. We were excited to try Poke at it's roots, in Hawaii. We literally stumbled on the Sugar Mill, not realizing it was a food truck haven. We all got the Poke book from Deez bowls, and BY FAR, THE MOST AMAZING Poke we've ever tasted. The ahi was the freshest, beautiful texture and taste. The sauce did not overwhelm the fish, not too spicy, just perfect. We had the honor of meeting Sam the owner who was all to happy we were trying his poke, and he told us how it's prepared...from his family recipe over 40 years old. Seriously we couldn't get enough, I'd say this rivals any Poke on the island and beyond! And the food truck camp is such a cool vibe and hang, definitely Italy a local hang but you feel welcome, even as a tourist. Everytime we come back to Oahu we'll be back here! read more

Great little food truck nestled in a food truck area. There are lot of options. This truck in tucked in pretty far in. There is one covered picnic table to use. The service was good. We went around 3 pm so there was no line and the wait was reasonable to get the order. The bowls were good we got a poke bowl and a lechón bowl. The steak was cooked well. It was cooked enough to not be bloody but not enough to make it tough. The rice was a bit undercooked but that might be a preference thing. The house sauce and spicy mayo as well as green onions and onions makes their poke bowl different and taste so delicious! By far one of the best ahi poke bowls I've had. My girlfriend who doesn't even like tuna or raw fish is crushing this bowl too! Will get this every time I come back! I give this a 10/10 because it's that good no Smoked Pork [10/10] Its on the daily special for a reason. From the first bite that there's something serious going on in this pork. Deez bowls has put some passion into smoking the pork with their seasoning. Definitely try this smoked pork as I do not regret getting some for myself. A must have. Fried Fish [7/10] Kind of dry and chunky but does not lack in flavor. I give this a 7/10 because it's not the best and certainly not the worst fish I've had just kinda dry and maybe not my taste.
