I purchased a Groupon for tints on my SUV. Made an appointment for 9:am with George, who assured me things would be done in a timely fashion, and everything would go smoothly. As I get there, I notice there's quite a line, which means they likely do good work... But which also meant they overbook their days... Anyone who's had multiple cars tinted knows that a tint job doesn't take 7/8 hours to do. I shut business down for three hours in anticipation of maybe a minor delay. Instead, 8hours later, missed kids pickup time, and about $480/$500 worth of business, I finally got my car back. Looks like the tints were done properly, but Thanks but no thanks bub. If we make an appointment for 9, it's only natural for the customer to expect their car back sometime after 12/1. Don't be an asshole on the phone because I called after 6hours to inquire, and don't lie about things being done in a timely fashion. I give a fractured 3rd star because it looks like good work. Awesome and friendly professional service! I read mixed reviews about this place, and was cautious about going here, but was so glad i did. I can't say enough about how professional and great Alex was with how he talked with customers and explained everything. I sat in the waiting room for two hours, and listened to him answer call after call about remote starters and tint, and he was so respectful with everyone. I got there at 9am for my appointment, and my car was taken in, and started within 30 minutes. They told me about two hours, and they were just under. No delays or overbooking. Car was done on time, no problems with the Groupon. Had to pay extra for two small windows, but I already knew that. I would definitely recommend this place. I have a 2014 Harley Davidson street glide, purchased diamond audio equipment from another shop, had system installed, I knew system was better than what was putting out, sounded crappy. After a couple days of posting online was contacted by Craig Staneck he told me to stop by his shop he'll take a look. he did some tinkering and had it sounding much better. He told me there's other things he could do to make it sound better. I pulled in my driveway and made call to improve stereo. HOLY $H!T did he do a great job. he got every bit of sound out those speakers and amp you could get. If I could leave less stars I would. I went in for a car starter. It took pretty much the whole day, which is fine, my problem was when I got my car back, my locks didn't work. I've never had an issue with them before. My car would only lock manually. I called immediately and they told me I'd have to come in the next day since all the mechanics were gone. Okay, I understand. The only issue is I work a 9-5 an hour away, those are there hours and they aren't open on weekends, I caught them on a holiday that I had off. I explained this and there was no flexibility. I get those are your hours for business, however this was no longer business this was them fixing a mistake that caused damage to my vehicle, I don't think staying open an extra hour one day is asking too much when they damaged the most expensive thing I own. But no I had to leave work early because of their mistake, no offer of any flexibility or any money back. It took them 2 HOURS to fix it. Icing on the cake was when I drove off a mechanic came running after me because he forgot to put a spark plug cover back on . The incompetence never stopped. I would avoid at all costs if you care about your vehicle. read more

I had a car starter and Drone Mobile installed. It was very easy to get an appointment and the service was good. I did notice the next day a slight scuff on my passenger crew cab door the next day but didn't go back and complain. It buffed out a little a barely noticeable but it was disappointing. Recently asked OnPoint to professionally install a dash camera on my Silverado Pick Up. They agreed to install the camera that I had purchased on line. Made the appointment, dropped off the truck and later went back to pick the truck up when I noticed that the camera was installed in the middle of the windshield. I asked to have the camera moved up the rear view mirror so it would no block or obstruct my vision. Sean agreed to move to move the camera and made another appointment. When I got the truck home I noticed that the power cord was simply plugged into the cigarette lighter (on the hot side of the ignition). I spotted this at 10 PM, when I looked out in the driveway and noticed the camera was still on. When I returned for the appointment I requested that the camera to be wired to the cold side of the ignition so that it would not drain my battery. Sean stated that the technician had installed the camera per the manual. I showed him the manual that specifically instructed the camera to be installed behind the mirror (as to not obstruct vision), and the manual also stated that the power cord should be wired to the cold side of the ignition (so that it only comes on when the ignition key is on). Sean stated that he did not know anything about the manual, he was only in sales. When I made my third visit to the store, Sean informed me that it was "impossible" to wire the camera power cord. I asked for my keys and took the truck to another install shop. They wired the power cord and move the camera (per the installation manual). What Sean stated was "impossible" was completed in 35 minutes. Too bad I had to pay twice for the same install. But at least the camera is in the right place, and it only turns on with the key. I went there with an appointment to get all of my windows tinted and because of their honesty... they actually talked me into only doing the front two windows. Basically they saved me $200, by convincing me to start with less and see how I like it first. The tints came out great! It was done super quick and I just appreciate that kind of integrity so much! My initial experience with OPC was about a year ago when they tinted the windows on my Golf TDI. The car is notoriously difficult to put window film on due to the rounded rear glass. End all be all, they did a phenomenal job. Fast forward to this week. I had a remote starter installed on my truck which I purchased through GROUPON. Alex informed me that there would be an additional 100.00 dollars needed to purchase the bypass for the truck. He apologized that this was the case and expressed that he wasn't a fan of GROUPON's fine print and its lack of specificity concerning what vehicles would end up incurring this additional charge. My thought was, another 100.00 is still cheaper than what the cost would have been with out the GROUPON so no harm no foul. I brought my truck to OPC on a Friday to have the starter installed, and picked it up at the close of business. Alex gave me a quick rundown of the functions of the remote, I squared up my tab and jumped in my truck to meet my family for dinner. After leaving dinner I attempted to start the truck remotely and it was unsuccessful. I thought "Uh-oh, I gotta call these guys on Monday and have them take a look at this." I jumped in the truck and attempted to start it with the key and it was still a no start. I wrote an email from my phone and called the shops number to leave a message. I ended up having to disconnect the negative battery cable to reset the system so I could get the truck out of the parking lot. I got the truck home and headed to bed. The next morning (saturday) I attempted again to start the truck remotely and was unsuccessful. And again, with the key, no start. I composed another email to the shop explaining exactly what was happening. I also explained that this was now a significant issue as the truck was not reliably starting by any means and it was slated to pull our camper on Sunday for an end of year getaway with my wife and kids. Within the hour of sending my second email I received a response from the OWNER of the Company asking for my phone number and a location. I sent him a response and was contacted via telephone by Corey, the owner. He asked if I could get the truck running and meet him at the shop. (The shop is closed on weekends, he was coming in from home to troubleshoot the issue and get me back up and running whether it was solving the starter issue, or D/Cing it so that my key would start the truck as it had before I had the work done) I met Craig at the shop 20 minutes after our phone call, pulled the truck in and in 5 minutes he had the entire dash disassembled, the starter out and hooked to his system to flash and monitor the issue. Craig found the problem, and after a TOTAL of 35 minutes in the shop the starter was operational, and I was on my way home. I need you, the reader, to understand how big of a deal this was. THE OWNER of the business left his house on his day off, met me at his closed shop, and fixed my problem in user an hour. He was very apologetic for my inconvenience, and handled the entire situation with more professionalism than I have EVER received in any other situation regarding problem with work provided. In closing, although there was a bit more of a charge to have the starter installed, this is not OPC's issue, but more of a GROUPON SNAFU and the limited space for information about every make and model to be delineated through. The customer service at OPC is second to none and I would not think twice recommending them to my friends, family, or to strangers on the internet. Also had rain guards installed on my windows. Courteous service and response to any questions I had. I was thrilled with the result. Found a good priced coupon for window tinting. I initially just needed 2 windows tinted, to match my remaining tinted windows. Alex, (employee), gauged my existing tints, and told me it would be no problem to match them. When done, my two NEW tinted windows were lighter than my remaining tints. Expressed to Alex my concern, he told me it'd be 90/hr for removal, and would have to repay to have them installed. I didn't mind having to pay to have them re-installed, it was a great deal after all, however I wasn't too pleased knowing I had to pay 90 dollars AN HOUR knowing d*mn well all I wanted was for my windows to match. Price was very reasonable and service was warrenteed as well as the parts for starter(free removal as well)... I will be returning this friday as my front windows are in need of some tint... Both sons had car starters put in their Mit Eclipses and I was impressed with the installations and the responsiveness of the manager Alex. I liked the experience so much I purchased a remote starter as a gift for my wife and scheduled an appointment. While waiting we traded her vehicle on a newer vehicle that already had a remote starter as standard equipment. I called asking for a refund and found I could only get store credit. While I was disappointed, Alex helped me get a set of Weathertech mats for the front, back and trunk. So only 4 stars because the refund policy wasn't made clear at purchase time. They are inconsistent, at best. I had them do a tint and wax on two vehicles. The first car looked great when I picked it up. The second one was quite a disappointment. There was damage to part of my car, neither door was put back togeher correctly, there was wax left on part of the car and bubbles remain in the tint on the rear window. When I returned to see if they could help fix it, they were careless with my car and not apologetic in any way. I ended up in a yelling match with the manager, who says he is also the owner, and left. I'm now left finding someone to repair my car. read more

We purchased a Groupon $140 remote start for my daughter. When they made the appointment was told that $40 extra for type of car and that this was in the "fine print". At the appointment told was an additional 4100 because only had the "black" not the "silver" key. The car came with only 2 black keys. The total cost was $277 a $3 saving not a 50% saving. Not a detail shop IMO. I brought my 2012 Explorer to Onpoint for a full detail which included interior: vacuum, dust/polish, windows, leather clean/condition. Exterior: wash, hand wax, tires cleaned and shined. On a scale from 1 to 10 with one being spotless, the condition of my vehicle prior to the detail was about 5/6 at worst. Due to the vehicles size the cost of the detail was slightly higher, which was okay with me. I am VERY particular about what I expect from a detail shop and unfortunately the quality of work provided initially did not meet my expectations. I really was hoping they provided outstanding quality considering they are a local small business. Interior clean was okay. Weather tech mats were cleaned nicely and the vacuum was pretty good considering I travel with my dogs sometimes and there was dog hair on the carpeted areas that the tech removed well. There was a couple of spots around the seat hardware that still contained dust and debris, windows were streaked, vinyl interior areas were dusted but not polished with armor all to give the vehicle that off the showroom floor look, and there was still dried dirt marks from my young nephew's shoes on the back of the drivers seat which makes me wonder how well the leather was cleaned/conditioned. Exterior detail was below expectations for the price. The hand wash and wax lacked the elbow grease needed to remove the road debris and bugs from the body and chrome. The roof of the vehicle was not waxed at all. I returned to the shop and spoke with the owner about the quality of the detail. He openly went over the vehicle with my husband and me, provided his point of view regarding the service provided and offered to take in the vehicle again to wax the roof which he agreed did not appear to be waxed. He also provided me with a 10% off coupon for any future work I have done at the shop. I returned to Onpoint today to have the roof waxed. They washed the vehicle, shined the tires and waxed the roof. Because the owner handled the complaint well and they did a decent job with the second wash and roof wax I am giving Onpoint a slightly lower than 3 star rating of Ok/Experienced better. Due to their initial quality I will not return until either the price of the interior/exterior auto wash (notice I did not write detail) decreases or the details provided with the detail improve. read more

Very disappointed. Where to begin. I had my stereo changed out and side steps put on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The owner told me to come back around 2. I was dropped off at 2. They didn't even start the radio installation. But they did say the side steps too allot longer to install. Once finished they brought my jeep around and the stereo didn't fit the jeep. I could put my finger in between the stereo and the dash. They thought I would accept that. Aside from the scratches on the interior drivers door with their boot prints on my seats and doors and my door handle inside had a chip taken out of it. The owner said. Well bud I don't know what to tell you the door was opened the whole time.... I ended up having to spend an additional 450 to upgrade the radio so it would fit the opening in the dash for my jeep. I am happy now with the stereo.. However the side steps are loosening up and are crooked and I found the screws that are loose. We tightened them up ourselves. There are no washers or screw caps to cover the ugly silver bolts that should not be seen as everything is supposed to be all black. I spent about $1800 dollars for a job that is not done with quality. I can not recommend this place. And it's too bad. read more

Buyer beware I had my roof wrapped for $400 at onpoint connections in Enfield 780 Enfield st. There was a split in the material when I picked it up. The owner craig said it would go away on its own. Its has been 2 years and i'm sick of looking at it and it's peeling in another area and one of the corners is not even wrapped with material . ive been busy as hell and just haven't had the time to get down there but since it was like this when I picked it up I didn't think there would be a problem. ive also had my car detailed at this location and told the employees there I was not happy and wanted it fixed. the guy never called me. Mind you i do not drive my M3 in the rain and its always garaged . He doesn't back up his work and will not fix it. His excuse was it's been too long but it was like that when I picked it up !!!!! so what's the difference? also personally attacked me with some jealous bs about the car I drive and something about me thinking im the shit . lol I paid more in taxes last year then you made Craig. Don't be in business this long if you still can't scrape two pennies together and treat customers right. you should of never let my car leave the shop like this to begin with. buyer beware. read more
