I bought a 2009 Cadillac XLR-V from Champagne sight unseen. I am a life-long car nut, and over the years I've had 4 Ferrari's, 5 Maserati's, several Alfa's and a couple of American cars, including an older XLR. The XLR was delivered today. It is absolutely amazing-- pristine, exactly as described, looks and drives like brand new. I live in Baltimore and have to admit that I initially had more than a few misgivings about buying an out of state car based solely on an ad I came across on line. Throughout the buying process the salesman, Joe C., was patient and super-responsive, returning my calls and texts almost immediately, answering my many questions. He is by far the best auto salesman I've ever dealt with. The owner, Ken Champagne, was also friendly, upfront, and responsive. Bought a Genesis 2026 with low mileage at Champagne. Car was never inspected and was sold with warped rotors, no oil change, etc. Fernando said. "I have buyers remorse" but the truth is they are not reputable and make sure you get what you pay for. They are as you say, lot people and have not the skills to treat you as a customer. The owner will not pick up the phone and is always not available. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere. read more

I want to tell you about our experience with Ken, Kevin and Fernando at Champagne Motors. My wife and I usually trade in our used vehicle every 3-4 years and buy another 2 or 3 year old similar model. We often go to the dealership and buy CPO but we shop around for the right mix. We came across Champagne Motors from Cars.com and found a vehicle we felt was a match. As we'd never done business with this dealership before we did as much research as we could. We found almost all reviews were 5 star which can sometimes be a warning sign in and of itself. Ken and Fernando offered us the best price we'd found and the absolute best trade value (by $2500) for our old car. They were both extremely low pressure (like no pressure) and amazingly accommodating. Long story short we bought the vehicle. When we drove the vehicle off the lot my wife innocently asked me "This has front cameras, right?". Of course it does honey! She said "show me". You see she's petite and this is a pretty large SUV, she uses the front cameras on our old vehicle everyday. At the next stop signal I switched the vehicle into reverse and back into drive and guess what ... No front cameras! This car had heated and cooled drink holders but the manufacturer made front cameras a separate option this newer year and this SUV didn't have it. We were both shocked and very upset at ourselves for missing it. What could we do? I told my wife I'd call them in the AM but I doubt they'd help, it wasn't their fault, they didn't know it was a must have for us. When I called them the next day (and I mean this in the most sincere way) Ken restored my faith in compassion and honest good business. He said "No problem at all, I can cancel the entire transaction, like it never happened and I can hunt down the features you're looking for". WOW! Keep in mind, he had no obligation to do this, it most likely cost him some money and it was all our fault. Not only did he follow through he had his runner bring our trade back to our house and then a few days later he found us an even better deal on a car with even more features, including front cameras. Champagne is our new go to dealership. I can't recommend these guys strongly enough and I sincerely suggest you speak to Ken and Fernando, tell them what's important to you and they will take outstanding care of you. Absolute trash. I was lied to about the state of the vehicle and what they were doing to it as far as repairs and body work. I went to pick it up a week later, days after they said it would be 100% mechanically sound and showroom quality with a full detailing. I was told they were finishing up cleaning it, everything is perfect, let's do the paperwork! We did that, they drove the jeep around and NOTHING WAS DONE. All the scratches they said would be buffed were still there. The small dent on the bumper they promised to repair. Still there! The inside was vacuumed and wiped down but no detailing. Brakes, still shot. I mentioned all this and that I needed the car for work but that I could drop it back next week so they could make it right. The slimy salesman, Fernand(?) and the even slimier owner, Kenny, promised it would be taken care of. The following week I brought it in. They had it for a full week and told me it was all set. I came to pick it up and the only thing they had done was badly take care of the bumper dent. Brakes were still shot. A week later I'm having fuel line issues. Had they done the full combover of the vehicle that they swore they did, this would've been caught. They have no problem lying to your face and taking your money, sending you off with an unsafe ride! I'm going to do the work myself, especially knowing now how garbage their service and body shops are. read more

No need to bring your sunglasses, this place is about as shady as they come. I bought a jeep from them and while their salesperson Fernando was pleasant enough, he misrepresented the car when we talked on the phone. I was planning on buying a jeep from them. I am an out of state buyer and was solely relying on them regarding condition. My main concern was tires. I was assured they were at least 50% if not they would replace them. On this information I went ahead and bought the car. I had it delivered and the 1st thing I noticed when the car was delivered was the condition of the ties. Being an out of state car I had to get it inspected at my own cost no allowance was given. My mechanic did the inspection and mentioned to me that although the tires were in passable condition he recommended they be replaced. When I brought this up the the salesman he then went back on his word and said that if they passed that's all they were responsible for. I am now out $1300.00 for new tires and $100.00 for inspection - something any car dealer should be responsible for when selling it at a retail price. I live in Bay CA, I bought 2017 Jaguar XF few months ago and I found one of the Park Assist Camera was missing the day I received my car. I called Salesman named Fernando and he said he didn't knew about it and will pay me $500 for camera after I got delivery of my car in December 11th 2020, whereas Camera itself cost $689+tax in bay area Jaguar dealership + installation is another $200-300. But Fernando said he needs to get approval from Kenny, I talked to Kenny he said he only approves $400. and hung up on me. I called again was trying to explain it's gonna cost me more but at least pay me $500 as Fernando promised on December 16th and they said they are not gonna pay anything and hung up again. I noticed this issue very first day (25th Nov) while he sent me pictures and video of car that something is wrong with cameras but Fernando wouldn't listen and got frustrate after I asked him to double check cameras of car and he sent me text "everything on that car works." Beware and just don't trust their pictures and what they say, always but car from them after looking at car in person. They're not trustworthy and don't keep their words. Don't buy their cars by just taking look at pictures. And I hope my $500 or more they kept do some good for them. Amen read more

I was looking for a BMW 4 series in Estoril Blue with the M Sport package, which was very hard to find. I was only able to locate 2 within 250 mi in a 2 month time-span.
