Went to get an oil change and they told me that I was getting full synthetic oil, but when I looked at the paper it said synthetic blend. After my car was they gave just gave me the paper work and walked away didn't explain the what was done or needed to be done. Just got my first Acura MDX and I am obsessed! So while the car is awesome, the customer service at Schaller Acura was even better. Typically I dread going into car dealerships, but these guys changed the experience for me. Jabari, our salesperson didn't try to pressure us, was super knowledgeable about the car, answered our questions and let us go on our way. 1. There was an accident inside the shop involving my vehicle. My vehicle had fell off the lift from the instructions of Jason Stone. And there were no repairs or inspections done. 2. My vehicle never had issues before. After that incident my vehicle started to experience engine misfiring whi h they quoted me over $4k to fix!!!! 3. Even escalated this issue to Gary Bradshaw which he failed to resolve. He told me to take back my car as is. 4. Will never go back to this dealership. We purchased our brand new SUV from this dealer. We brought it in for its initial servicing and had large scratches placed in the hood after having the car detailed. My wife was mansplained, that this was not due to the detailing. We have had other service done at the dealership and discovered service incomplete and staff were indifferent. Definitely, not the level of service you would expect for a luxury car. Our experience sullied our impression of our Acura. We finally decided to switch to Acura of Avon which is an hour away for us and have been much happier since. The team there goes above and beyond, communication is excellent and the staff are professional and courteous. read more

The service department has been beyond expectations since 1987. They are friendly, honest, amiable, and trustworthy. Dave, Brian, and Joe do a great job. They don't take advantage of me, always make me comfortable, and do their best to accommodate my needs. I bought my first car from Schaller Acura in 1987. I serviced the car in Manchester for 12 years. I bought my second Acura in 2003, I still get it serviced there. I bought an MDX for my wife in 2010 and we service that at Schaller as well. I purchased a 2010 MDX from Schaller. The sales side was pleasant enough however the service department does not stand behind the vehicle nor support the customer. The vehicle developed a wind noise that the service department says is normal or they can't hear. We took a loaner to compare and the loaner is the same as our car use to be. The dealership has stopped working on the issue while we still have a brand new $50,000 vehicle with wind noise. Feeling abandoned. read more

I sent in an internet request and was contacted by Teri. I made an arrangement to test drive a 2016 RDX. She had one ready to drive when I got there, took plenty of time to explain the features of the vehicle, went on a test drive that covered all types of roads (back roads, winding roads, rough roads, highways). She encouraged me take the time to try all of the features. She took her time, didn't apply any pressure and provided all the information that I requested. She was one of the most pleasant and thorough sales reps I have ever dealt with. I have to say that this was the best test drive experience I have ever had. Though I did look into another Acura dealership prior to going to Schaller, based on the high level of service and information (vehicle and pricing and trade-in), I wouldn't consider going to anyone else. I had a flat tire on my Acura and took it to a local tire dealer but they didn't have any in stock - I then called the Acura dealer (same one I bought the car from 1 1/2 years ago) - it was the end of the day on Friday and they said if I brought it in right away they would take care of it for me - they were so nice as usual and 1/2 hour later I had my new tire. this review is for the service department. let me start off with the positive - the work they do is great and i know it will be fixed correct the first time this is why i don't mind sometimes paying their high prices. now for why i'm only giving 2 stars - over the past year i have needed over 3,000$ worth of work for my TL Type s including big jobs like a timing belt/water pump. every time i need to drop my car off there they never have a loaner car. even tho i am spending a lot of money for them i'm always told, "all of our loaner cars are out right now (what type of "luxury" dealer is this)." well once i was stuck there and i got the same story then a few min later they very reluctantly gave me an ILX as a loaner and made the whole situation feel really weird like i was going to steal the car even tho i drive a way better car....go figure. so recently i needed a right tie rod and new sway bar links and an alignment - so i scheduled the service which was about 13 days out because they are very "busy" and that's the earliest they could see me which i was okay with - mind you i was quoted around 600$ for this job which seemed high but i was okay with at this point. however, a few days after my car felt very unsafe to drive and all over the road so i called and asked if i could drop it off and get a loaner - same story "we cant give you a loaner they are all out" then i was told to just go rent a car and drop my car off and they will get to it when they can - at this point i was pretty much fed up and decided to youtube how to replace these part which seemed fairly easy - because they had me pretty heated about the whole thing i wend to NAPA and got both tie rods ends (front and right) and sway bar links for 80$ and 1 hour of my time i had the job done myself - so how was this job 600$ for just the right tie rod end???? also i am getting an alignment at my tire shop for 90$ now - still way cheaper then what they quoted me. i am very disappointed with them at this point and why would i buy my next acura there?? (i am waiting for the next type s) if i cant even get a loaner for service when i am spending good money with them??? Rant over ....moral of the story - do the work yourself and dealers really do overcharge for service - unacceptable in my book. read more

Recently had an appointment for just an oil change that was terrible. Arrived on time and was told it would take 45-50 minutes by a service manager. After an hour and 15 minutes he came out and told me would be another 10 minutes. Ten to 15 minutes later he came and got me and informed me they had damaged my car. Minor damage and they would fix it. There would be no charge for the oil change ($46 and change). Brought car back the following week to Schaller so they could send it to an auto body shop, which did a good job. Was given a courtesy car to use. Not 5 miles out that car's service light comes on indicating it needs an oil change. The following day my car was ready and went to pick it up. Asked the same service manger how they were going to compensate me for this and he said they gave me a free oil change. So my time, an extra 45 minutes for the first oil change, plus 2 round trips to the dealer in 2 days, is worth an oil change? Plus the extra trip in my car to the dealer used my gas. How much does it cost a dealer to do an oil change? I'm not looking for a lot but instead of an oil change they could of offered a $10 gift card for gas or $46 off any service there. Let me finish by saying I bought my car new from them just about 7 years ago and can't believe this is how they treat loyal customers!!! read more
