Outrageous pricing! This is NOT an urgent care facility; it is an emergency room. As such, they will charge you a MINIMUM of $484, just for walking in the door. I had a cut on my finger - and all they did was wash the wound, tell me "you don't need stitches," and put a Band-Aid on my finger. The billing department informed me that that is the minimum price for a visit to their facility. To top it off, the doctors aren't employees of the affiliate hospital, so I ALSO owe over $100 (AFTER my insurance paid their portion) to the employer of the doctor who administered my Band-Aid. If you can afford a $500+ Band-Aid, then this is the place for you. read more

Headline: Great service at outrageous cost. Just sending out a warning to would-be patients: be well aware of what a visit to this ER might cost you before you go! Let me be clear up front: I received excellent care and service from Saddle Rock ER when I visited the facility in January 2018, suffering from what I feared might be pneumonia. I was in the ER for a little less than two hours, of which at least one hour was idle (wait) time. I received the following services: vitals check (BP, pulse, temp), chest X-ray, throat swab (test for strep), vapor inhalant treatment, and brief examination by the physician on staff. The "shock and awe" came later when I received the EOBs from my health insurance provider indicating the submitted claims (three separate ones, so far) were in excess of $6,400! The only redeeming grace was that my insurance provider adjusted the submitted claim amounts down to what I assume they deemed "reasonable and proper": about $1,600 in my case. However, since I am a victim of the [not so] "Affordable Care Act," my not-so-affordable plan has extremely high deductibles, and I have to pay that $1,600 out of my own pocket...on top of my ridiculously high health insurance premium. Bottom line: It cost me $1,600 to get diagnosed with bronchitis, for which there was no treatment...just adding insult to injury. A very costly lesson for me; I won't be doing this again. read more

I brought my husband to SaddleRock ER this weekend due to difficulty breathing, coughing and chest pain. He was seen by the nurses and Dr. Talbott within minutes. Chest x-rays, labs and other tests were given. He was transported to the Medical Center of Aurora- cardiac unit. I can't thank the staff enough at SaddleRock ER for the excellent care they provided and the smooth coordination for the admission to the hospital. My 5 valuable lessons learned from visiting here...one, read the reviews prior to going. Second lesson, that when the security guard is the nicest person in the whole place....that's a red flag. Third lesson, when they ask you on a scale of 1-10 what pain can you live with when you leave...make sure they live up to that. Lesson four is they diagnose per the book, they don't care why you're there and they couldn't be more annoyed by your presence or your phone calls. I have had to visit an ER several times this past year and will only go to Saddle Rock ER. I have always been taken care of very well by the staff and doctor. The hospital was clean and well staffed. But that's where the good ends. When I received the bill for taking my wife to the emergency room I was shocked. She was sick that week and could not stop vomiting. The bill was $12,000 after insurance I owed $2400. I have been making payments for over a year. This is a privately run business and I guess they charge whatever they want. I believe they overdid it with the medications they were giving her things to stop her from vomiting and they never even waited to see if the last one work before they gave her another. There is never any traffic in this emergency room. And when they see you The dollar signs is all they can see.My advice is to drive to Parker Adventist hospital. We had an excellent experience at SaddleRock ER last night. My wife had a bad laceration above her eye after slipping on some ice. The ER staff got her in immediately and she was under the care of a nurse and Dr. Richard Saiz within moments. He ultimately put in four or five stitches. We felt attended to and well taken care of the entire time. We were impressed by the facility itself and by the professionalism and care of the staff. DO NOT LET DR LANSVILLE TREAT YOU. He's too special to be bothered with any little kids that might be sick. He THINKS that you can have a virus without fever. He thinks everything is a virus. Had the pleasure, yes, pleasure, of visiting this brand new emergency center on Christmas day. Very pleasant experience! I was in and out within a half hour! I needed to get some meds for my bronchitis because I just couldn't take it anymore, and couldn't be happier with my very last minute visit here. Open 24/7 even on holidays. I visited Saddle Rock ER for stitches after a dog bite. We were immediately taken to a room and they started gathering data. Dr. Wolfe did a great job on delivering pain free stitches to my hand, I got my Tetanus shot and 1st dose of antibiotics. The nurses were friendly and attentive. I have a pharmacy background and found nothing wrong with their medical procedures. I have not received any medical bills since the visit was this week. read more

I am so disappointed and angry with this place. I have been in healthcare for 15 years, many of those years spent in the ER, so I have knowledge to back up my opinion. I sent my son here this weekend because he was having severe pain and bleeding upon urination. We tried to get him in with a Kaiser doc (because that is our insurance), but unfortunately all 4 places we tried were booked. Upon arrival, he was given a urine test incorrectly (they took once sample instead of splitting the samples into 2 cups for clean and dirty). They never spent any time asking him about his symptoms. They just heard "pain with urination" and assumed he had an std. He was given 4 shots, none of which were documented in his discharge paperwork for his follow up care, and 6 pain pills. He told them he would not be able to get to his doctor until the following week, since this was right before the weekend. They sent him home and just told him to follow up with his doctor. I was very concerned that they didn't do any further tests for infection or kidney function. I don't know if they blew him off because we have Kaiser or because they just didn't take him seriously, but neither is acceptable. After 2 days of the pain not getting any better I sent him to the Kaiser urgent care. They did take him seriously and found out he had a pretty serious infection and gave him the antibiotics that he should have been given 2 days earlier. This placed dropped the ball and did not uphold their oath to do no harm. This kid was unnecessarily miserable all weekend. Do not go here if you can help it. read more

The doctors and staff at Saddle Rock ER provided excellent care for me. They made me feel at ease and provided the necessary tests for me while trying to be reasonable and not make me spend tons of money. They were all caring and empathetic. My paramedic and nurse were especially kind. That's important when dealing with medical issues. The doctor seemed knowledgeable and like he was listening to my complaints. Went to Saddle Rock ER in December for abdominal pain. Security greeted me, was checked in and back in the room wishing a couple of minutes. Everyone worked like a well oiled machine. Very kind people, very clean facility and was back to work quickly. Hope I don't need to go again but would go there and in a heartbeat if I needed to. read more

We had a very good experience at Saddle Rock ER.. it was a Thursday morning around 815am, took my son in who had been sick since Wednesday afternoon. Our experience started with Monica that greeted us for check in, within 5 min, Jessica RN came out to bring us back to a room. Very efficient and triaged my son quickly. Dr. Wolfe came in within a few minutes and my son was quickly taken care of! Steve was another RN that took fabulous care of my son. Very attentive & caring. My experience at SaddleRock ER was excellent, Doctor and Nurses were attentive and caring.

Billed over $2200 for a bladder infection--just urine sample and RX. In and out in 30-40 minutes. Less than five minutes with doctor or nurse. Paid doctor and all lab fees separately. No blood, no IV, no trauma. We have at least five other ER's within 10 minutes. I will not be back. Usurious fees!!! read more

The bill was crazy outrageous! I went in with gastroenteritis and all they did was give me IV fluid, check labs (which were normal) and provide me two meds (one oral one via IV). I was in and out within an hour. The bill was over $6,000. I was severely dehydrated and needed the fluids, which is why I didn't go to urgent care because they don't provide that service. But it's no wonder people cannot afford healthcare in this country when you're in and out of an ER within an hour, have minimal care and then receive a $6,000 bill for your troubles. Will never, ever go back to this place, and I recommend others stay away. Furthermore, the billing department will not tell me an itemized listing of my charges or provide it via mail. I was billed $6,850.00 for what was considered a Level 4 Emergency (no blood, medication, IV,...NOTHING). I asked the person that took my insurance info to give me a general idea of cost associated with the visit. She said, well it will take us a couple days to put togeter the bill. I later found out just walking in the door was $3,500!!!!! It sickens me to have been taken advantage of....and they could care less knowing what they did wasn't right. My husband and I brought our daughter into Urgent Care last Wednesday but unfortunately, with her symptoms they could not assist us and immediately sent us over to Saddle Rock ER Urgent Care was concerned of possible Meningitis. Upon arrival to the ER the staff and doctor saw our daughter immediately. (Which was truly appreciated)Our experience with that team was great, it is what has happened since that has been TERRIBLE to say the least! Unfortunately, they had to have my daughters blood work and urine sample picked up by a courier to be taken to a hospital. We were told we would receive her urine results that night and they would send over to our primary doctor for our 8am appointment the next morning. They blood work result would take until Friday. (possibly Monday) Nonetheless, nothing was sent to the doctor the next morning and has YET to be sent ONE WEEK LATER. My primary has requested the results since Thursday of LAST week and has faxed it over to them 6 times. They were told today but someone at the ER that they did not think we needed the results and have continued to THROW AWAY the MULTIPLE requests. Are you kidding me???? We have called, faxed and begged for the results and they threw them away! Absolutely NOT acceptable in my opinion! I am sure they will charge me an arm and leg 9and expect full payment) to have her blood picked up by courier and yet we still know nothing a solid week later! I will NEVER recommend this ER to anyone - in fact I will continue to tell people our horrible experience! read more

Although I haven't received a bill yet (was just in yesterday) and that seems to be the biggest complaint here, I thought my care was fantastic. I went in for abdominal pain. I didn't have to wait at all, got treated in a nice room (no hospital smell =]) and each person that helped me (office staff, paramedic, lab tech, doctor) was genuinely kind and knowledgable. I was probably there for 3 hours, getting a blood test, urine test, CT scan, and receiving some pain meds as well as antibiotics via IV for my diagnosis. The best ER experience I've ever had. I would imagine and expect that their billing charges would be the same as any hospital ER visit. ERs aren't cheap. read more

The services were professional. I couldn't breathe due to a sinus infection that got out of hand. However, they submitted to my insurance that it wasn't an emergency then billed by $6000 for 2 hour sitting, an IV and a flu swab. The insurance won't cover it. read more

I visited the ER a few days ago after experiencing uncontrollable vomiting. Dr. Carol Dombro was the attending physician. She listened as I explained previous medical history (which is long and complicated, but she was patient) and made sure to listen when she suggested a medicine that I let her know I didn't respond well too and changed it without question (Zofran vs Phenergan). The nurses were comforting and apologetic even after I told them I was a hard stick for an IV, they brought in someone after the first unsuccessful try so I wasn't stuck more than needed! They apologized (ha, they apologized to me for ME having bad veins) for not getting it the first try - silly nurses ;-) They literally tended to my every need without me having to push a call light! The doc checked on me multiple times and was sure to explain all the lab findings and what they were going to give me via IV. Even after I was feeling better, she sent me home with an extra dose of nausea medicine until I got to the pharmacy to fill my prescription. I never needed pain medicine, but the doc and nurse always made sure to ask that I was still free of pain. I was visiting a friend in the area (who consequently got seen too and loved the doctor) and literally just Google mapped the closest ER, and boy did we luck out! I thank Dr. Dombro as she even let us know she would be working all weekend if we needed anything else or if I got any worse!!! Seriously, in all my ER visits (and I've had a lot with my diagnosis) this was one of the best! read more

I had extremely horrific lower right abdomen pain one evening while at my parents house. My mother rushed me up to this hospital, as it is right up the street from my parents house. They did an ultrasound and said they didn't find anything, after ruling put the possibility of my appendix rupturing. I was in so much agonizing pain which made my mom extremely worried. The doctor had told my mother with an EXTREMELY rude tone, to "calm down because it wasn't going to help" I am 31 years old, but i will always be my mother's baby. So right there I was turned off at her poor beisde manner. I was previously prescribed a low dose of percocet following an oral surgery I had underwent 2 weeks prior. After they did the ultrasound they said they "didn't see anything" I was still worried because of the immense pain I was enduring. The doctor had told me "i was experiencing withdrawal symptons" lady, no. I had been given pain medication for oral surgery that on was on for 8 days. Hardly "withdrawal symptoms". I have tattoos and piercings, do not label me as a drug seeker when you can see clearly what all I've had filled at the pharmacy. Antibiotics and 30 percocet following a surgery in the past 12 months. I had taken my ultrasound results to my obgyn only to find I had an ovarian cyst on my right ovary. My obgyn explained to me that ER doctors are not obgyn's and they are not trained to properly an ultrasound, which I understand, they're not obgyn's. I will never be coming back to this emergency room. Highly disgusted by the snap judgement I received. I am so blessed for my obgyn for thoroughly examining my ultrasound and getting to the bottom of what was going on. read more
