We went in for my son's extreme rib pain. The doctor we saw was utterly useless. He said "we can do an xray if you really want, but he'd have to lay flat on his back, and if he's in as much pain as he says he won't be able to, and it is very unlikely we'll see anything." He said to take Motrin and codeine cough syrup. He didn't feel the area, or do any real exam. My son is on the autism spectrum and struggles with speech when he's stressed, yet the doctor was clearly impatient with him not answering quickly. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the lady at the front desk was absolutely the sweetest person. She seemed to seriously care and to honestly feel bad for my son being in so much pain. Too bad the doctor didn't care even half that much. read more

This place is a disaster. There's no URGENCY in anything this clinic does. We call ahead, show up on time and are made to wait outside the building for over a half hour, only to be placed in a room where we wait another 45+ minutes. They have ONE Dr in the whole building and 12 nurses having a party in their little lobby. They are all RUDE and condescending. If you want *quality* AND *Urgent* care, this is NOT the place for you. Sitting in the exam room over 20 minutes. Still no doctor. Meanwhile grandson's eye is still hurting. What part of "urgent " are we missing here? Update. We're now at 50 minutes. Still no doctor. Grandson's eye is still hurting. A kid that came in after us just left. Good thing no one is dying. Now for the best part. We finally saw the doctor. She was competent and good. But when we had seen her, her staff supposedly called in a prescription to the local Wal-Mart. We asked the aide, it being 5:50 on Sunday, if the pharmacy was open. Her answer : "They were when I called." The pharmacy closed at 6:00. That kind of cynicism from the staff was amazing. We didn't get his medicine and couldn't contact OnPoint to sort it out. All in all, a very unsatisfactory experience bordering on malpractice. If it's serious, I'd avoid this facility. read more

Feeling really sick and came here. Worked with Larry. He provided me a lot of advice, good advice, and got the treatment that I needed. The waiting room is nice and I THINK if you pay CASH you get some 10% off so ask. They are about helping me people rather than taking $$. To be honest, I didn't even need to pay to see them. Nurse Melissa gave my daughter a bloody nose from doing a flu test. Definitely not kid friendly and not an urgent care I would recommend to anyone because of Melissa. My daughter was crying after the first swab holding her nose saying how much it was hurting. Melissa asked me if she needed to go get assistance to hold her down. I said "oh, my goodness her nose is bleeding!!" Melissa responded with "it happens and probably because she is hot and not feeling well." Testing for flu, covid19, strep should not be putting you in that much pain. This was not my daughter's first test. She's had multiple testing done. But, this was the first test that gave her a bloody nose from the nurse shoving the swab roughly all the way up her nose, further than it should have gone. I was in the room fifteen minutes afterwards to get my daughter to stop bleeding. She bled all of my shirt as well. read more

I made an appointment for a COVID test because I have a cough and can't return to work without a negative test. When I made the appointment I indicated that I had symptoms on the form. I called multiple times before I went to ask if I should go inside the building but no one answered. I got there at my check in time and the waiting room was packed. The receptionist noticed that I was there for a COVID test and had symptoms and told me to wait in my car and they would let me know when they were ready. I waited in my car for 1.5 hours. I tried calling multiple times to see what was going on and no one answered. I then received a voicemail from the receptionist that because I had symptoms, I would have to do a telemedicine appointment before I could do the test and that I needed to call them to schedule the appointment. Not happening. I will never go back here again. read more

I have always had a pleasant experience with this location. Sandra, the receptionist was friendly, upbeat, informative and helpful. We went in for a school physical, and the PA that saw us was great. The only reason I knocked it down a star is because somehow, we weren't entered in the system correctly and we waited far too long. We watched 3 people that came in after us go back to be seen. It ended up taking us well over an hour for about a 10 minute actual visit with the PA. read more

My wait time is never long here and I am always greeted by warm, professional staff. They listen and truly care about the patients they see. So, it wasn't bad enough that your PA just about killed my son on March 18 due to his stupidity and lack of care! Obviously, your patient advocate team doesn't care either. You reached out to me and told me to call you. Well, I have called at least three times and left three messages and nobody has called me back. You know what? I'm working from home and responding to people. I would assume the patient advocate (team) is working from home as well. Quite a step up from any other Urgent Cares that I have visited. The waiting room is "well appointed" with comfy leather chairs, an awesome kid's play area, three flat-screen TV's and even a fireplace. Its like waiting in a comfy living room. And what a short wait it was; maybe ten minutes before being called up. The staff was professional and courteous. The doc even faxed in my prescription so it was waiting for me at the pharmacy when I got there. I will be back. Hopefully not to soon though! read more

Just love this place!! We were visiting from out of town and saw the great reviews. I decided to take my daughter this morning. We were greeted with smiles and kindness. My daughter was anxious about the visit, but they made her feel at ease. I would recommend going online and getting appointment. We got there about 10 minutes before they open. We got there before anyone else. Then I noticed people being called. Then I noticed the sign about online appointments. We never felt rushed! What a great urgent care!! read more

I am not sure where to begin. The staff is nice and the Doctors and Physician Assistants are nice. We have been here many times. It gets really busy here. I would check in online before you go. This might save you some time. I would normally rate this place with 4 stars, but due to their business practices it is 1 star. We had to come in November for a hand injury on my 10 year old. We thought she may have broken her finger. We got in pretty quick. They did an exam and x-ray. We were diagnosed with just a sprain. They sent us home with a splint. The whole process probably took 2 1/2 hours. Nothing really to complain about so far. Here is my issue. I have good insurance with a $35 co-pay for Urgent Care, This should have been covered 100% minus the co-pay. On January 14th I was going through my bank statement. My account was over drafted!!! On Point took out $185.00 without asking or notifying me. I immediately called the location and talked to the gal that does the billing. She said it looked like it was submitted incorrectly. I do understand this happens. I asked her why they would take money without permission. She said they usually sent an email or letter. I had received nothing from them. They had all my current info from the last visit and prior visits. She apologized and said I need to wait 30 days for the claim to reprocess, call back and I should receive a credit. Seriously, this place is quick to steal your money and not to give it back. I tried to contact their main office in Highlands Ranch to question and expedite this issue. Emailed them thorough (Contact Us). NOT ONE SINGLE RESPONSE. I called the location back on 2/14. The billing gal told me the claim just re-processed. She said it would still take time to get reimbursed. I did not get my $185 credit to my checking account until March 3rd. Almost 2 months after stealing my money. I am glad this is done. Moral of this story: Buyer Beware: This place has some crooked practices for billing, head office does not respond. I survived, but I feel bad if someone can't pay rent, childcare, gas, groceries, bills, or an overdraft fee due to this place. I would recommend another Urgent Care or pay with cash. read more

The staff was very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful, but the wait times left a little to be desired. I think this was because they were understaffed - or at least it felt that way. The medical care I received I thought was appropriate, and again, while I did need to wait a little bit more than I had hoped, the waiting area was comfortable, clean and had Wi-Fi available. read more

Went for a Covid test with my wife and we got home we got a bill for $265 each as an "office visit" for a test that was covered 100% by insurance. We were seen at the same time in the same room by the same NP. Then their billing department tells us we should have just paid cash out of pocket instead of insurance and it would have been cheaper. read more

I have been to this OnPoint urgent care 3 times to get a COVID test and all three times the employees have been insanely rude to me, the first time I went in they were rude about taking a rapid test over a PCR, the second time I went in for a test a nurse or doctor or what ever she was yelled at me for not giving her where I worked for a job even though it is not a law that I have to give it to her but she sure made it seem like a law, and finally for my third time at this facility I came for a walk in COVID test and have waited for an hour and thirty minutes to get a test. This is completely unacceptable and out right pathetic, they need new management at this OnPoint read more

Poor customer service. ! They forgot to bill my insurance company for my visit 2 years ago . Then they send a bill stating it going to collections due to there improper billing. I had to call and get my HR involved at my company. After multiple phone calls to HR , the insurance company and OnPoint they final billed it "correctly " to the insurance co. It's not my fault or the Insurance company problem when you forget to handle your accounts receivable correctly The insurance co has paid the bill , OnPoint has cashed the check. Yet I still have mail coming from the collection company stating a delinquency. I have multiple phone calls with billing dept at OnPoint. It horrible that the Voice mail is full and the system hang up on you ! read more

I took my 6 year old daughter there today to get her tested for Covid because she has every symptom. From the first phone call until the last, I only dealt with one nice person, and that was Chris who actually swabbed her. He did I however use a much larger swab than they did last time her and I had to be tested. He was nice but I'm not entirely sure why he chose such a huge swab when smaller ones are available. I had to call to get her results even though I was told I would be called with them in 15 mins, 2 hours passed so I called. I got treated like I was a complete moron, and when asked what the protocol was now that it was negative I was shamed for having my 6 year old tested twice in a month and a half. I ended the last call crying because they were so mean and disrespectful. read more

I have come here a few times when I could not get into my doctor. As soon as you walk in the decor is calming and welcoming. At reception you might see Sandra or Justin. Justin is a great guy who makes you feel welcomed. Sandra reminds me of home with that ole school manners and charm. The doctors and nurses are amazing and you feel like they care. You never wait long here which is nice. All in all this is a great place to go for adults and children. read more

Called the day before and was told to be there when they opened at 8:00 to ensure no wait. I was there at 7:55. They opened the doors at 8:05. I wasn't called by the assistant until 8:40 even though I told them when I gave them payment-which they took quickly at 8:05-that I had appointments at 9:00. It is 9:15 and I'm still sitting in the patient room waiting for the doctor. There was one other patient when I left the waiting room. Ridiculous. The only bright spot is the receptionist who is professional, efficient and completely overworked. read more

I have been here since last Friday. I have been impressed with customer service at many of the places I have gone until I came to OnPoint urgent care. I was having an extended reaction and after six days decided it was not getting better with over the counter medications, I should probably find an urgent care center and get something stronger. I perused the Google Gods to find a location near me. OnPoint is a little over two miles from my new home. They also have an online sign-in on their web-site. Since it was very close to the house, I went ahead and did this sign-in online. I arrived about 12:45 p.m. I walked in to two women at the front desk. I will call them the younger women & the older women. They were seated very closely to one another and having a whispered conversation. I stood there waiting to be acknowledged. Although, I was the only one that had just walked in the door, it was difficult to not see me. They continued their conversation without any acknowledgment of my presence. I politely said hello, and the response I received was, "sign in there (pointing to the desk), and have a seat, we'll call you". Ok. Who cares why I'm there, that I feel like raw hammered meat, or that I even bothered to sign-in online? Apparently they didn't. I watched people come and go. A medical professional come in and get her TB read by a nurse. And waited. I got a magazine, worked a crossword puzzle, and sat. I watched both front desk people leave. I overheard the older woman apologize profusely for leaving someone on hold so long. Stating it was because they "were swamped". Although neither of them were doing anything but staring at the computers in front of them the whole time. @ approximately 30 minutes of zero acknowledgement, I approached the younger women at the desk. I let her know I had signed in on line. I asked if I could at least be filling out some paperwork while I waited. Curtly she explained it wasn't my turn, that there was one more person in front of me. At this point I expressed how rude I had found both of these ladies when I came in and no evidence of "give a care" for someone requesting care. Again curtly she informed me I would have to wait. I went back to my crossword puzzle. @ 1:37 p.m. I was called up by the younger women again and given the required paperwork to fill out. The older woman began to pretend to be courteous to the patients exclaiming "yes, ma'am, and directing patient's professionally as they came in after I had told the younger, they were very rude. I completed the paperwork and returned it to the younger woman. Pretty sure by her mannerisms that she was none to pleased to be called out on her complete lack of professionalism from front-line staff. After almost 50 minutes when she was given my paperwork, this woman asked why I wanted to be seen. I told her I was having an allergic reaction. 50 minutes later mind you, she asks, "are you having any trouble breathing" and pretends to do her job by obtaining a hand held pulse oximeter. Are you kidding me? What kind of training didn't you receive. Wouldn't you want that information prior to shooing someone to a seat when they arrive? You will love this part, the younger women was clearly snotty, red cheeked, having some kind of cold. She took my paperwork (or snatched the clip board), then asked for my DL and insurance card. While she was verifying my insurance, she is running my ID's across her chin. Really??? That is disgusting. She then took my payment card, slapped my cards on the desk, and told me to go back to my seat that I would be seen shortly. Guess what? The hand sanitizer is sitting right above that computer. It is for cleaning YOUR hands between patients, as well as protecting those around you from acquiring your nasty that you bring in to the work place. Recommendation: Try using it and keep your nasty off paying customers personal belongings. Some things most of us prefer not to share. Hand washing is your number one defense against nasty bugs. Try it! I cleaned my ID's and hands with the sanitizer in front of her before replacing them. Hint, BIG Hint. Keep people's property off your face when your sick, or anytime. That may be why you are sick? read more

Another great visit this morning. The staff here is great. They are always very friendly, understanding & patient. They are always great at explaining everything. I came in this morning after a week long migraine and the nurse even knew to keep the lights turned down low (a lot of them don't know to do this and it make a huge difference and is greatly appreciated) they pay attention to the small stuff. We are moving further away next month but I know we will make the trip back to this location for our Urgent Care needs. read more
