What an absolute blast! Fun family activity. The staff and facility were delightful. The giveaways were off the hook. They do a great job on keeping the crowd going with music and cheering. You are not going to be bored at this sporting event!! Extra bonus - WE WON in a shut out. Helpful things: Metal detectors. These keep you safe but leave your metal at home. Expensive food and drink. Eat before or after (The Hat was our choice:)). Sometimes they have beer specials so check their schedule. Colder the closer to the ice (DOH!). May want to bring a blanket for your legs. OUTSTANDING TEAM! The Ontario Reign is a hockey franchise with a lot of heart on and off the ice. All of the players on the team are down to earth with the fans and genuinely appreciate the support. It's refreshing to see a hockey team with a strong work ethic and commitment to community. I'm a Tynan/Turcotte fan but I seriously like most of the players! I'm not a LA Kings fan but I'm always cheering the Reign on as I feel welcome here despite being a VGK fan. I can proudly say I'm a Reign fan too as I've attended MANY games and I love the warm atmosphere, my first hockey game EVER was with the Reign last year! (Reign vs. Canucks during Classic Rock Night)The organization itself is all about supporting local businesses and communities, it's much, MUCH better than the Coachella Firebirds organization! The Reign advertise, sell and make money, sure, but they're never trying to swindle people or be excessive in their pricing models. The Reign is a STRONG team and they know that the life blood of the organization is with the fans! I love getting special offers for loyal fans and I highly recommend joining the Reign newsletter as you can get plenty of deals on tickets and games! The Reign's mascot is also INCREDIBLE, I really like Kingston as he's available to ALL fans, young and old! You can be sure you'll get a picture with him as he's always on the move! Also, very few teams are inclusive like the Reign, this team tries to make a variety of theme nights for diverse communities and they explicitly show support. I think they need more inclusive jerseys, however the variety of theme nights is a good start. The team is amazing for large groups, families, friend outings and fundraisers! I see several groups and companies come out here like school districts, social organizations, and diverse communities to spread awareness and participate in on-ice events! Some of the Reign staff is a bit hit or miss, but they're manageable most of the time. Shout out to Josh and Jared (the commentators), Mikey (Host), and Jeff Pope (PA Announcer), they make each game super fun! Jan.U.Ready, get it, January lol Oh right, the review. I arrived the evening of New Year's Eve and parked my car approximately around 540pm as the game began at 6pm. I then made my way to will call to pickup my ticket the lady at the window was super awesome and quick. She asked for my ID and I told her she was just going to have to trust me. Needless to say It didn't work but we both had a nice laugh. Before entering they had security checking belongings making sure patrons did not have anything they're not suppose to. I was full from having a blaze build your own pizza so there was no need to get snacks. I made my way inside and through the crowd; I then found my seat. Not all seats were filled but I'm sure if people knew how awesome the minor leagues and this place was they would come. The game began and ontario reign had some cool moves. Ontario reign seemed to pass a lot more then taking a chance at shooting the puck. In the background I heard, "IF YOU CANT HIT THE PUCK HIT THE PLAYER," someone out in the crowd behind me shouted ever so loudly. You'll hear occasional cursing but I'm good at blocking out noise. Hockey is so much fun to sit and watch. It's also cool how the crowd in unity throughout the game chants Let's go reign. It was time for intermission and a good amount of people including myself made our way to the restrooms. They had the reign dancers and an outside dance group performing on the ice which was cool. Then two trucks went around the arena smoothing out the ice with a fresh slate. After fifteen minutes or so the game began again and all the players came out of their box. The score was 2-0 at this point as the roadrunners were in the lead--Let's go reign!! *clap* *clap* All the cams were so funny; I think a great way to get and keep people engaged. One in particular had me laughing for almost five minutes--it was cute. The kissing cam, there was the occasional awkwardness, the simple peck on the lips, and then the one I found amazing. Once this couple noticed that they were on camera they looked at one another and she turned around laying her back on her partners legs with her lips in the air waiting for his to meet hers. It was so clever and so well played out!! What do you know, reign has scored a point bringing the previous score from 2-0 to 2-1--Let's go reign!! Once the game was over reign did not win this time around but it was a good game. After the game they did a 2017 memorandum acknowledging all those we lost. It was beautiful! I thought it would be hockey players but it was a mixture of numerous other famous people. Once that closed out, they set up for....wait for it, wait for it...fireworks!! Yes they had an awesome firework show inside the arena with music playing along. I went by myself and had SO much fun! Good times! Such a fun thing to do in the Inland Empire. I went there with the boyfriend and really enjoyed our time watching hockey. The stadium itself is new and the rink is very nice. The tickets were a very reasonable cost and the concessions were tasty. I loved the fact that they now have a mobile ordering to avoid the lines. My only issue were the length of the lines. If you like hockey, or are looking to do something new, go to an Ontario Reign game. Pro tip: They take cards for parking payment. Also, go online 1-2 hours before a game and snag cheaper seats! In an effort to heal my broken-heart over the quick demise of the Dodger season, I went to see the Ontario Reign hockey team play the Henderson Silver Nights at the Toyota Arena. Hockey games are so exciting, entertaining and there's so much action. I thought that seeing a Reign hockey game would be a great pick-me-up after the Dodger's devastating first-round loss to the Padres. I was right! The Ontario Reign played an exciting game, coming from behind, to win against the Silver Nights. My Seat location was perfect and I saw all the action up close for $45. Parking is $10 and plentiful. The Toyota Arena is a great venue and the customer service was fantastic. All the usual stadium food/drink offerings are available. The Toyota Arena is cashless and you must pay with a debit/credit card. The Ontario Reign are an exciting hockey team to watch and with a hotdog and cold beer, my healing process was finally complete. read more

The Reign at the Ontario Citizens Bank Arena is great local entertainment. A fellow Yelper gave me some tickets last year and I was hooked. I ended up getting season tickets for a bargain price . I live locally, so this is perfect for me. Parking is $5 but with season passes you get a parking pass . Parking is pretty easy. Big lots with easy enter and exit driveways. Once inside there are plenty of food, drink, and snack items. Beer is $2.00 on Fridays. The kettle corn is my favorite snack here. There is a Reign store by section 119 where you can buy Reign gear, collectibles, and blankets & gloves because it is chilly inside. Many of the Reign players also play or have played on the NHL Kings . I often see King players attending the game too. This venue is good for the family if you don't mind some of the fans chanting "you suck" and occasional swearing. I personally don't care for the negative chanting , so I just tune it out. Every team has passionate fans, but I can't believe that the fans for this professional sports team has nothing positive to say. I'm observing this as the opposing team's fan. It's never easy did go to another arena as the opposition. I've been heckled, but usually in a good-natured way. One thing I noticed was the negative chanting. You would think you would hear a lot of Go Reigns Go! Or, Let's Go Reigns!? Nope. I heard "San Diego Sucks", or Ref you suck! when anything did not go their way, even if the penalty was well deserved by their player. Well, you have to remember it's a minor-league team, and their fans have minor-league mentality. The team also has their cheerleaders, and they have a little platform near section 122, where these dancers perform little routines. I'm not sure if the area is too small for them to dance, but it's comical to see how many are out of sync. By the way, to the guy sitting in section 105 by the ice, the stripe guy without the orange band on his arm is a linesman. He is unable to call penalties, so quit calling him a stupid F Ing idiot. Three 1/2 stars for my experience. I'm being generous, as I was fortunate not being yelled obscenities as I have I fans of their parent team, at the staple center. read more

The fans here are great with exception to a few. (like anywhere) The ticket personal are top tier. The arena is always clean and first class. I have been to a lot of other arenas and not one is this nice. The personal and servers are great. The food is always good. Drinks are always good. Parking is close. Great auctions for game used jerseys. 50-50 every night, and great give a-ways. The team is great this year and I am looking forward to the playoffs that we will be in this year. My son wanted his birthday celebration at Ontario reign hockey game. I called the ticket rep AREIAL and she was amazing on making it such an awesome evening for my son and his friends. We had really great seats. Aerial arranged for my son to ride the Zamboni during the game. When we arrived , Ariel and the staff left a birthday card for my son and also gave him Ontario's Reign beanie and towel. My son was ecstatic when he saw his name on the jumbo tron wishing him a happy birthday. My son and his friends had so much fun. I highly recommend going to see the Reign. We love having family night here. The tickets prices are so reasonable and on Friday nights there is a booth serving by $2 beer. The staff is always so nice too. Great job Ariel!!!! read more

While living in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, I had the chance to go to several Ontario Reign hockey games. I was actually a season ticket for the last year that I lived in RC. These games are so much fun, very entertaining and very inexpensive if you sit in the upper deck which isn't a bad view at all. Of course the lower you go the higher the ticket prices go. This stadium is a great place to take the family for an afternoon or evening of great entertainment or even host a UYE with Yelp friends. There are several choices when it comes to beers and food and the prices are reasonable for a sport venue, especially on Thirsty Thursdays. They have great give-a-ways as well, nothing big, but free tacos or free burgers are always a good thing. This is a very easy stadium to get in and out of and there are several restaurants and bars in the area for your after game party. read more

We came here on new years eve. We got the family pack. It came with 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 drinks, and a game card to big Al's. They have good customer service. I didn't get my tickets because they were out the weekend. When I called they took care of it right away and even said I could call back if I didn't get them. I picked up the vouchers for the hot dogs and drinks at will call. We got a free reign bracelet for the giveaway. Parking is 10. Still cheaper then other stadiums. We got there early so we got good parking. What I didn't like was they don't have cup holders. The firework show inside was cool. We've gone to games in the past. It's always fun. read more

Like the other minor league teams in the area, the Ontario Reign offers splendid entertainment at a fraction of the major league prices. Getting in and out of the Citizens Bank Arena is easy and all of the workers I've encountered are polite and helpful (I've also been here for the indoor soccer team Ontario Fury games). I don't consider myself a hockey fan, but I have casually followed the L.A. Kings since the Triple Crown line of Dionne, Taylor, and Simmer. The last hockey game I attended was at the Fabulous Forum when the Great One wore the black-and-silver uniform, so I was excited to once again see some live puck. Since this is a minor league game the quality is lower than the big leagues, but it's easy to appreciate the effort of the young guys trying to get to the next level or the older guys hanging on for one last shot at glory. I love the fact that the Reign re-did their logo to match the Gretzky-era Kings and on the night that we went we received a free oven mitt that looked like a hockey glove. Hooray for freebies! My wife had never been to a hockey game and she loved it. Two things surprised her: 1. How cold it was, even though we were in the second level (still, given the 8,000-person capacity at the arena there isn't a bad seat in the house) and 2. How fast the game was in real life. Hockey has always been a sport that doesn't translate well to television, but its rabid fan base will ensure that it never dies, despite the NHL occasionally cancelling a season or two. This arena is a beautifully thought out venue. There is no bad seat in the house, ticket prices are cheap to good. You can sit in the lower bowl for $20 - 25 or in the upper section for $10. The teams is young & exciting to watch. If you have never been to a hockey game, this is the place. I am a Reign fan & a season ticket holder. Went to my first game at the beginning of the year, and I've been hooked ever since. Since it was a minor league game, I wasn't expecting much. Going to a hockey game is just one of those bucket list things and I wanted to sit super close to the ice and I figured this was the easiest. Who know it'd bring me one step closer to loving hockey lol. I already wrote a review on the Arena itself, but just to remind you, cheap parking ($5) easy to get in and out, great food & beer. You really can't buy a bad seat here either. They really make it a great time to attend these games. They give out a lot of prizes (I won the free In N Out at my first game) and the MuscleCam is probably my favorite. Still trying to get on there haha. They always throw the free shirts to the kids, so if you're sitting close enough, make sure they see your kid. I'm sure it'll make their night. Their mascot, Kingston, is also a ham. The game itself is a ton of fun to watch. A lot of action on the ice and as an amateur Muay Thai fighter, I do appreciate a fight or two during a game. It's awesome how you can just start to love a local team from the very first game. I get a lot of crap from my friends who are Ducks fans, but who cares. Reigns all day! LOL. I have purchased a ticket plan from the Reign for the last 5 years. When the AHL cancelled the season this year, the Reign decided not to reimburse us for the remaining games. I will not purchase season tickets from this second rate team again. UPDATE: October 2020 and I just received an email announcing the proposed start date for next year. Still no reimbursement for the tickets we purchased last year. DO NOT purchase a ticket package this season. read more

Ontario Reign is part of the AHL that is affiliated with the LA Kings (NHL) and is based out of the Ontario Business Bank Arena. I've attended one game this season and have attended in the past thanks to discounted or comped tickets for our nation's military. Even when I pay regular price for tickets here, they're very reasonably priced and I consider it a bargain. No matter where you sit at this venue, you won't have a bad seat. It's a very easy to get to arena and there's ample parking which is usually $10. I attended the 2019 Wild West Stagecoach Night and it was pretty crowded with long lines an hour prior to the game but the lines moved fairly quickly and I was inside the arena within 15 minutes. It was also a busy event because they were continuously giving out Stagecoach VIP tickets and the Reign gave the first 5,000 fans an adult-sized Ontario Reign Jersey which was pretty awesome. During the game, many gifts and t-shirts were handed out to lucky fans as well. On this particular night, we also received Chick-Fil-A coupons for our choice of free 3pcs chicken strips or 8pc nuggets and since we went after the game with our free jerseys and were wearing them, we each received a free cookie. Being that it's very reasonably priced and there are always giveaways and handouts, I consider this a lot of bang for the buck! Throughout the season, they have many giveaway nights in which they give out bandanas, blankets, hats, and bobble heads, etc. On Friday nights, they offer $2.00 Bud Lights. read more

The ticket sales people are awful. Their communication about the suites they are selling is not accurate at all. They are slow to respond and when they do it is with bad information. I bought a suite for an upcoming game and now I'm not even happy about my event and it is for my own birthday. Don't trust the ticket sales people. Update * Thanks to John for being helpful. He took pictures of the suite to put our minds at ease about the available space since we had found out at the last minute we would only have 12 real seats for 20 tickets.. this helped us tremendously. Miss the NHL as much as I do? Well if you live in SoCal you probably don't, but if you do you must make the pilgrimage to Ontario. A buddy is a season ticket holder and hooked us up with 2nd row seats. Even without the hookup tickets are cheap and plentiful. Our seats I believe had a face value of $22. Seats at center ice are $26, and the cheapies are $10. Definitely a great value for your sporting dollar. Hell yeah, and parking is a breeze and a measly $5. The arena is very modern and only a few years old. All of the staff are helpful and friendly, and the crowd is mostly families and very enthusiastic. Who knew the IE would know their hockey? Concession stands are well staffed and clean, and a large Stella is comparatively cheap at $8.75. OK, so how was the quality of play you ask? Surprisingly excellent. These guys are skilled and speedy as they are mostly in their early 20's. There are several NHL Vets keeping sharp whilst waiting out the strike as well. One of the young Reign players is from that hotbed of hockey, Irvine Ca. Way to represent The OC C.J. Stretch! He even scored one of the 5 home-team goals, as we won in OT 5 to 4. Yes "we" as I am now a Reign fan, and will gladly remake the 45 minute (Sunday 3:00 game) trek soon. At least in this time and space it's as good as we've got, so Reign, 5 stars for you. read more

We won! 3 to 2 vs Colorado Eagles, baby!! It was definitely a good game this afternoon. I don't normally follow sports, but I love watching hockey! It's fast-paced, exciting and easy to understand, get the puck into the net! It doesn't hurt that the players are all cute hotties ;) The games always feel too short. They should add another period. Ontario Reign is the minor league affiliate to the LA Kings, so when you watch Reign, they may be future Kings players. Or if one of the Kings needs a rehab period, they come here to play. The Ontario Reign's home base is at Citizens Business Bank Arena which is a newer facility that is very modern and every seat in the house is great. Plenty of parking is available outdoors. Tip: Don't get the hot chocolate, it was too watered down. :( Tickets are relatively inexpensive starting at $10. We got ours through Goldstar, 2 tickets for $30 total for 10th row near center court. Not bad! All in all, definitely go, it is so much fun!!!! Tip: Dress warm, it can get chilly. read more

Let it Reign! 50 bucks for tickets for a family of five isn't bad. The seats are in the upper level, but at this arena, it's not a bad seat. Good view of both ends of the ice, the platform the cheerleaders preform on, and almost within reach of the motorized blimp that circles the arena after each period. Oh, and the team isn't that bad either. I've been to two games now and both were decided by one point with lots of scoring. The last game went to a shootout. I'm also 2-2 in the fight department. Each game had a pretty good scrap. At the last game, a Reign player boarded a guy from the other team at a high speed. Guy got up and had blood gushing pretty good from his face. Had to bring in guys to scrape the ice and clean it up. You know, everything you could ever want in a hockey game. I know the last part was a little much, but it's definitely worth taking a trip out to watch a game of you're looking for something new and fun to do. Food and beer is expensive like any sporting event. There's no discount for minor league hockey. read more

From what I have read, franchise ownership had a stake in the Long Beach Ice Dogs before they folded. For cheaper entertainment than the two NHL teams in SoCal, we would go to the Ice Dogs and have a great time. It was welcome news to see a minor league team would replace the Ice Dogs and be located in the new stadium in Ontario. From my experiences, the Reign have done a great job marketing the team and ensuring that every game we attend (8 - 9 per year) is filled with entertainment for the dollars spent. Things beyond their immediate control (concession prices, the fact they no longer serve Hangar 24 Orange Wheat) should not be held against them. From the multiple mascots, (Puff Puff the Magic Dragon that smelled a bit like puff puff -- wink, wink, nudge nudge), to the announcers, to the between period contests, to the cheerleaders, and to the team itself, the Reign hopefully have found a long-term home in the IE. They have a good fan base for only being around a couple of years. read more

This is a cheap, fun night out. At $12 per ticket* you're in the nosebleeds, which beats the hell out of a what, $75 Lakers game? Even the nosebleeds are pretty nice... I've sat in much better seats and couldn't see a dang thing. These are fun games, too. The crowd is rowdy and the players put on a good show. Not sure, but I think Ontario kicks a lot of **.
