I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you want to enjoy your time in Skaneateles I would definitely stay there again . My husband and I enjoyed our time here , it's right in the middle of everything the beautiful town of Skaneateles has to offer , food , shopping , coffee houses , bakery's etc .... The shower in the bathroom is to die for and the loft had a full kitchen so if you don't feel like eating out you can stay in and cook and enjoy your meal at the table right by the doors looking out at the lake , can't wait to plan our vacation for the summer time and bring the kids with us this time , they would love it just as much as we did ! Definitely going back , prices are perfect for such a great location , staff are amazing and attentive if you need anything they are there for you ! WAY better than staying in a hotel if your in the area you should definitely book a room here ! Also I can't leave out how AMAZING The beds are with cozy sheets and comforters , bed is so nice makes you not want to get out of it ( no joke ) they even provide you with cozy robes for your stay !

Yes, it's completely accessible and the parking lot at the marina has plenty of room. An unusual "birdcage" light stands atop the two story building with a focal height of 50 feet. Most other lighthouses were "modernized" but this one avoided that fate as it was due to be decommissioned at the time. A local purchased it from the government and it has since been restored. It remains an active navigational aid in addition to being a hotel / AirBNB. [Review 1552 of 2024 - 468 in New York - 22575 overall]

This is the worst experience dealing with the place to stay. Booked thru Airbnb for 2 nights but…read morebecause of the high stream river ask the owner to reschedule until the water come down for salmon fishing. First week of November when 90% places in Pulaski are vacant because season is over. Owner asked if we can cancel Airbnb deal and pay him directly And for some reason directly is more expensive for ~ $140.00 ( taxes etc he said ) so total was $700.00 Unfortunately water in river stays high for weeks in November 2021 so decided to reschedule for next year and just keep $700 as a credit. This year contacted the owner and dates we wanted were booked ( actually available on Airbnb ) and he offered refund . Received the check for $200!!!! Owner states that is the policy and other bs.so basically lost $500 and ton of time. I've been using places in Pulaski for over 10 years and they all much much cheaper and client friendly.

Our 3 year old had the time of her life on the playground, in the pool, playing in the field, and knocking on the office door to say hello to the girls working there. They don't provide towels (not even a hand towel in the bathroom), but I know they will provide them if you're in a pickle and forgot about that. We did arrive an hour or two before check in and they were nice enough to let us check in early even without signing up for that ahead of time. I did get the impression that they very much wanted us to have a nice stay, and I appreciate that. The pool was clean, the sunsets were beautiful. We can't wait to return!

The gorgeous pool area, volleyball, and shuffleboard is always fun and catching the sunset from the fishing docks is beautiful. They have a screened gazebo, shady areas at the pool with wash off stations and restrooms, a huge field for kids to play in, a little playground, and a few different areas to have camp fires. There's a few spot to dock boats and a couple of fish cleaning stations as well. The true gems are the cozy cottages. We stay in the "tiny house" #29 or #30. Both have porches overlooking the river and are up to date in their decor. It definitely feels like a treat staying at Angel Rock. We stayed during the pandemic and they are taking EXTRA precautions to keep staff and visitors safe with deep cleaning in between guests and contactless check in and check out.

Only a small part of the sand is open for use as a beach to the public, since most of it is protected park land. When I went it was not too busy, but it would not take very many people to fill up the beach. The natural dunes are beautiful and the sand is very fine and soft. The swimming area is roped off which restricts how far swimmers can go. The beach goes from smooth sand, to a few feet of slightly uncomfortable rocks where the waves crash, then back to smooth sand underwater. I went swimming and it was a pleasant experience, with 72 degree water in mid-August. The fee was $7 per car for the whole day and there's a decent amount of parking. There are bathrooms and showering facilities.

Also a fun place to skip rocks. It mostly has stones that wash up on the beach, there are plenty of rocks to choose from. The downside of this beach is that it is tiny, dirty, and at least every time I have been here it does not seem very swimmable. You cannot really enjoy a nice walk on the beach because it will be about a 3 minute walk to get to the end. There was a lot of trash scattered about the sand. Lastly the waves have always been pretty big when I have visited and with having stones instead of sand at the waters edge I can imagine it being a rough time. I would not think there is really a good time of year though to swim here or sunbath since it is pretty cold most of the year.
