Great service. We sat on the shaded patio with our pup and the waitress was so nice, she even considered the dog. My son had an odd food request and she handled it with ease. Fun atmosphere with silliness all around. Food was tasty and plentiful. A bit pricy but acceptable. read more

After checking out the Elks (which was closed) and the VFW/American Legion (they were hosting a special community meeting) we decided to stop here and everything was great. Waited on promptly, beer was very, very cold and the food was excellent and reasonable. If ever in this area again (we are from Phoenix) we will definitely stop here, in fact my husband said he would go out of the way to stop. Went to pick up our to go order that was called in and out of 3 girls, no body knew what we were talking about. A lady at the end of the bar drinking a beer must have just got off shift because she knew what was going on. The food was awful. No gravy on the chicken fried and the gravy on the mashed potatoes was watery. There were chunks of something that looked like ham in the corn. First time ordered Fish N Chips which were under cooked and the fries were over cooked! 2nd time we went in for steak and could only get a steak sandwich which was Ribeye and so tough you could hardly cut through it! This place was packed, probably due to the NFL playoffs. The service was horrid from our first waitress. It was 10 minutes before we even got a menu. My drink was empty most of the time. It was really a shame because it had a great atmosphere.The walls are lined with TVs, and the food wasnt all that bad. When our waitress finally officially clocked out, she proceeded to the bar to count her paper stacks. This was a blessing in disguise, as our service got better trifold. The wait staff structure is so that servers are not rewarded for a job well done, and it shows time and time again. Very good steak sandwiches, I loved eating here pretty often but a week ago my bf and I ate there, I opened up my sandwich just to cut out some of the extra fat that was hanging out of the steak and there it was this metal needle looking thing was in my sandwich?! I would not recommend this place. There were 3 of us that had dinner here. It was a Saturday night and we ate around 6:30. When we entered we were greeted and told to sit where ever. They had many empty tables and then the waitress handed up menus and asked up what we wanted to drink. They have 8 beers in tap but nothing too fancy. Their meals were typical bar food, sandwiches, burgers, some steaks. I had the bacon cheddar burger and it was suppose to come with BBQ sauce. My fiance had 1/2 rack of ribs and our friend ordered the flat iron steak. Once we ordered that was the last time we saw the waitress. Our food came out and it was hot, brought to us by some other waitress. We didn't really see any other waitress after our food was delivered. My burger didn't have and BBQ sauce and the burger was not very good at all. It was really dry and the bun was toasted so that made it more dry. My fiance said that the ribs were not that good and he probably wouldn't order them again. Our friends steak did come out good so that was 1 for 3. Our original waitress came back to see if we wanted any more to drink, which by the way we had been out of since the beginning of our meal. My fiance and friend asked for something while I asked for a box because my fiance will eat anything. A few minutes later some other waitress brought the drinks but I wasn't brought a box. I finally had to ask again in order to get my box. Then another waitress brought us our check and ran our card. Finally our first waitress came over and rudely grabbed our signed ticket and left. Overall it is not a good place to eat. If you are looking for a bar to hang out, have a drink, watch a game. and have some less than average bar food then this is the place you are looking for.
