So, first things first, This studio has moved to 580 Kelly Blvd. N. Attleboro. The new location is directly across the street from the Volkswagen dealership and in the back lot directly behind T & Nails Spa. They also have plenty of parking in close proximity to the studio entrance. The studio itself has plenty of cubby storage space in the lobby/check in area as well as the studio itself. They also have a gender neutral bathroom in the studio space. The studio itself is very modern, clean and spacious. They do you have some basic props available in the studio, however , they do recommend That students bring their own props when able. They offer a range of classes, the class packages, and a drop in class options are comparable in price with other nearby competitors. It should also be noted that classes are booked entirely online. The instructors I've met, thus far have been very welcoming, as are the other students. I hope this studio continues to gain popularity and has the option to expand into larger studio space in the future. read more

This is a great place to come if you are looking for a good, solid yoga class. Let's be honest, it's hard to find the class for just YOU, it is a very personal decision. Here's what I look for. I am an on again, off again yoga practitioner who has been to a variety of classes at yoga studios, health clubs and retreats. Me, personally, I love a technique driven class. The point of yoga, for me, is to connect with mind, body, spirit, and breath. When I look for a class I am seeking out a teacher who is going to respect that. I do not look at yoga as a work out. I look at it as a practice, something you do somewhat daily to connect to your body. In that respect, I think Open Doors in North Attleboro is right on target. They are small, personal, and very focused. I have been to only two classes so far and am looking forward to more. What to expect: a very warm, well kept, clean, small studio. It is one single room with cubbies for your personal items/ shoes. They have blocks, straps, mats (though most people, including myself have mats), sprays in house. This is a HOT yoga class. Be prepared. I have been to a few hot yoga classes before, this one is pretty moderate, but bring water and a towel. Altogether it is a REALLY good work out (as much as I hate to admit it, it's a nice bonus considering I was looking for yoga as a health benefit). So far I have only been to the moderate/beginner class with Susan. She is very descriptive and I need that. She is incredibly sensitive to new clients. It is all about learning to know yourself, your abilities, and your limits. One last technical note, look for small shopping center on route 1, in same shopping center as "Quan's Kitchen" and "Kumon Learning Center." They have good, economical deals, very nice facilities, and a really good staff. I'm hooked! read more

Bought a Groupon recently where my 5 classes were purchased at what came out to under $5/class. I took 2 of the classes last weekend and preferred the beginner style of Saturday to the more advanced "all levels" Sunday class, but Sunday fits my schedule better, so I've gotta bite the bullet. Both instructors (Leslie and the lady whose name begins with M... Melanie, I think) are very nice and they have lovely personalities. To those considering signing up for a weekend class, you'll want to get there early, as floor space fills up fast. Pros: you can borrow yoga mats and blocks if you don't have your own; good prices; the groupon deal; close to home (less than a mile from mine!); nice instructors; minimal lighting. Cons: space fills up very fast; cubbies are small; the bathroom only has one stall; there are no showers on site; and the class offerings on weekends are rather limited. (They don't have a beginners class on Sunday mornings, which is a major gripe of mine.) Over all, I recommend Open Doors. They are truly open to all experience levels - and it shows! read more

Open Doors Yoga Studio, more like CLOSED DOOR YOGA STUDIO. Their company is the exact opposite of an open door and I am extremely disappointed. I am currently looking for a new yoga spot since returning back to yoga and noticed a Groupon offer. After I purchased one from groupon for the N. Attleboro studio and there was an issue with applying the groupon. Naturally I took the time to call the studio because I was determined to try this place. I left a voice message and the VM said they were closed, so I sent an email hoping to sign up for class. The entire studio is misleading. THEY STILL SELL THEIR PASSES ON GROUPON WITHOUT ALLOWING PEOPLE TO ACTUALLY USE THE PASSES!!! It was mind blowing a company would create this much of a hassle for their interested customers. Upon reply from my kind email asking assistance with how to sign up for classes, I received an email from Mallory Pfantz, "Hi Karissa, Thank you for reminding me that I need to update my answering machine message! I'm sorry that I missed your call. Unfortunately, we aren't currently accepting Groupon vouchers, due to how hard the studio suffered during the pandemic. However, I know people have had luck with receiving a refund from Groupon . Please let me know if you're able to do so. We would love to see you in a yoga class soon. I am Truly sorry for any inconvenience. Best, Mallory Pfantz". The fact that they are still selling on groupon and then Mallory wants to (and others) to reach out to groupon for refund which was not possible and then to let he know BLOWS MY MIND!!!!! Remove yourself from groupon please, so there are not others that waste their time like me. I do not think their suffering is strictly from pandemic if this is how they treat potential customers. There is no need to continue to mislead people.. you should stick to your word and stay on top of your offerings. read more

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I hate when I'm there (especially from, say, minutes 10-70 of the 90 minute session), but I love the way I feel when I leave. When I go to Julie's class on Thursday nights, I feel like I'm learning from Baron Baptiste himself. She obviously worked very hard to be the teacher she is today. 35 people a night can't be wrong. I'm really tempted to write a terrible review about this place since it's difficult enough to get a spot in the back of the room, but her class is transforming the way I feel. I've beet attending yoga classes here as much as I can for a couple of years. I'm in college, and one of the things I looked forward to most when coming home for a break is Ashley's classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The class is phenomenal and Ashley is an incredible teacher. The studio itself is well maintained, clean and well heated, but it can get cozy if more than 15 or 20 people show up for class. I try to get there as early as possible, grab my spot and not pay too much attention when other people come in. read more

I've been a member of this studio for just over 3 years and I can honestly say it has changed my life. I've had fabulous instructors who have all taught me yoga that goes beyond the physical aspects. There are a nice range of classes for all levels and I've enjoyed and experienced them all! If you have any interest in yoga at all, I highly suggest dropping in on a class or two - there really seems to be something for everyone! Lastly, I love the sense of community the studio has. I've been coming here for about 2 months now. It is nice and clean, friendly teachers and students. The teachers are really hands on, which I like. It's important for me, as a beginner, to be adjusted when I'm doing the pose incorrectly. They also have a good range of classes at different times so I can pretty much make it to a class every day if I was up to the task. read more

I absolutely love the classes here! I started off with the intro classes and, after a few weeks, felt comfortable going to the moderate and regular classes. I was nervous about the heat but it's fine as long as I drink enough water. I especially enjoy Susan's classes since she makes it accessible to beginner students like me.
