I had to call another company to come and fix the problem that you were paid to fix. My water heater continued to leak all over the van. The serviceman just flipped two switches and I paid full price. I would have been ok with that except that it didn't fix my problem. It kept leaking. The other company came out, removed the water heater and capped the lines. For almost the same price I paid you. So basically, I paid twice as much as I should have. If your people don't work on these types of water heaters, I should have been told this ahead of time. I think you can understand why I would be upset. read more

11/3 we called for service 11/4 we paid At that time, we were told parts would not be in until March 12/1 we had visitors and I was on an online RV chat room asking about portable A/C units as I wanted a temp fix as we had guests On that RV site, it was suggested that the most common cause was a dead animal in the unit. I went up on roof and took the top off the AC and found a small dead iguana We canceled the parts on 12/1 We paid for a service call that misdiagnosed the problem and that's fine, that's not our complaint, we don't want that money back. The complaint is that we're being forced to pay for something ($1,027.00) that we canceled 2 or 3 months before it was scheduled to arrive. My wife and I have both emailed the owner as well as had Visa get involved and there is no response. read more

Giving one star because I can't give a zero. Called these ''pros'' on the 3rd of Feb 2025 with a defective fridge for my RV. Gave all the info, didn't hold anything, told them that it was still covered by Cornerstone so all had to be good. Unfortunately for me they were the first ones to respond so I went with them. Mario, a nice guy determined that the cooling unit crapped out so this was his diagnostic. As soon as I swiped my CC for $261, he mentioned that oh, BTW we don't change cooling units, and we don't change fridges either. I didn't think much at that second, thinking that I could choose another business to do the job. Called them back on the 2nd to get my estimate for the job, that's when it got fun. They kept giving me the run around, kept mentioning that they could not do the service. I get it, but I still need an estimate for that job, just do an estimate so I can send it to Cornerstone, get my $261 back and find someone else to do it. Today's the 3rd, still no estimate, Mario came back for 10 minutes to fiddle around a bit, and here's the kicker: Cornerstone will only reimburse diagnostics if they are followed through with a repair or replacement.......which these incompetent fools won't or can't do. So I have $261 down the drain, no estimate, no fridge with 2 dogs in the heat for 5 days now, got to start from scratch so I'm at the bottom of the pile again waiting for someone competent to actually get this job done. If they had the least bit of decency, honesty and courtesy first off they would warn customers right off the bat, hey here's what we can and cannot do in order not to screw you, and they would reimburse me that $261 which is a total rip-off, put me 3 days behind in having a functional fridge. I will post this review on as many sites as I can. Junk, just garbage this company. Shame on them for screwing a Vet. read more

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE *SCAM* I am a disabled retired person on a fixed income, recovering from 8 surgeries and a stroke. I am living in my motorhome at a remote campground in Ocala Florida. I needed some repairs and noticed them at another campsite and requested a service call. The day they came to visit, I noticed that my RV wouldn't start. The tech looked at the issue (the battery wasn't charging off of the in-house batteries) and said he'd order parts. I was charged $395 for *diagnostics* Within an hour of him leaving, I realized that all of my house light switches had stopped working. I called them immediately and they said they'd come out the next day to look at it. They indeed showed up the next day and demanded another $150 to fix a problem *they* caused. During that visit, the tech broke one of the panels in my electric system and promised to replace it at no charge. They never did. I was hopeful that my extended warranty would help defray these costs once they filed the claim. They never did. They were also suppoed to order parts & file insurance claims for several parts, including a TV replacement. They never did. A month passed and I called to check on the status of my repairs. After an hour and 20 minutes of being misdirected within their phone system, reaching a representative who said they'd "look up my repair" and then punted me right back into the hold queue, I finally reached a human being. The first thing I did was let them know I was frustrated about having to dial in 4 times and it taking 85 minutes to reach someone. There was no apology it was just instant negative attitude with "well what do you want?" kind of reply. I asked for my order status, was told they'd tried to reach me because they needed more information and since I didn't reply, they cancelled my order. I had no record of them calling, no voicemail. I asked what info they needed and they told me "pictures of your TV, a copy of your warranty and a picture of your odometer". I explained to them that their rep took all of this info. I had to personally jump the RV with my car to turn on the odomoter display for him. I had to hold up the TV while he took measurements, model info and photos. "No he did not" was the answer I got. Getting increasingly frustrated, we went around and around until I was ultimately transfered to Jim, their "parts person" who would work out getting the info they needed. Upon being connected with Jim and asking what was needed, I was told "nothing". "But what about the odomoter photo, tv photo, warranty info?", I asked. "I have all of that", he replied. So I asked him to expedite the insurance claim, with the main issue being a non-working toilet (which forces me to walk a block to a public bathroom). He agreed to do so and said they'd be in touch. Today, I was left a voicemail saying that he had no idea why, but that Open Road was "declining my business" and would not be fixing anything, including what they broke. So basically, I paid $550 for diagnostics, including a 2nd visit to fix something they broke, only to have them break something *else*, then refuse to do anything at all. BEWARE. BEWARE. It appears that the business model with Open Road is to charge a service call fee in order to diagnose only and then the office will follow up with quotes. I had a A/C unit on a travel trailer out at Ft. Wilderness go out and we had experienced the same scenario before and notified that we thought it to be a capacitor. Tech shows up without any capacitors on board the truck and then proceeds to tell us he will turn in the recommendation for 3 quotes; one for a capacitor (3-5 days overnighted), one for a new fan and then one for a completely new A/C unit. I then get a call back from the home office a couple of hours later given me quotes for each scenario. I would not suggest utilizing this mobile "repair" service unless you have plenty of time and don't need something fixed fairly soon. read more

I woke up about 7:00am to the smell of electrical burn. After an initial attempt to locate where it was originating from I called my husband to be sure he was on his way back home to assist (he was approximately 40 minutes out). About 20 minutes later the odor had subsided and returned twice. Each time was strong enough that both the air purifiers kicked off to high. Still thankfully No haze or smoke. All of the sudden I see an "Open Road RV" truck roll past our site. I thought "WOW my husband is really on this"! LoL but it was another neighbor having an appointment. Talk about timing. My husband came home and began opening panels and clearing areas to gain access for checking. He then walked over to the RV tech "Christian" and asked if he could stop in after he finished. Just so happened he was finishing up. We could not have planned that smoother. He came over and in about 30 -40 minutes they located the source (A/C unit #2 had visible signs of smolder and heavy smell). What a relief. Oh Thank God. Our tech Christian was not only friendly and courteous, he was VERY careful inside not to track the outside wet in (I had chux spread out for them to walk on as it's very windy and rainy out there today and he still had a great attitude). He wanted to be sure whatever warranty that was on the unit would be applied (all 3 A/Cs have been replaced at various times) so he called the shop to discuss on speaker with the person dealing with that as it wasn't their place who replaced them.. Excellent. What a great gift to have rolled by and wrapped up what could have been a way worse scenario quickly. PLUS now we have another local RV tech who has a much more extensive menu to boot. We paid Open Road RV Repair to come out to give us a quote for repairs; they claimed they had to see each item before they could do it. Our RV manufacturer agreed to reimburse us for repairs but needed a quote to approve in advance. We agreed to pay Open Road an hourly rate to get a quote. They charged our card $342.40 for the mobile visit and to discuss all items that had issues. The technician indicated he'd have to get with the office to get us the quote (needed part prices, etc.). Two weeks went by and no quote - called and was told no quote would be provided. We ask for a refund and was told not going to happen. So we basically paid $342.40 for a two hour chat with their technician. Do NOT use these guys - it was the owner that basically told us to pound sand. Bad, bad business! read more

When I called to have them remedy the situation and fix it they told me they were canceling my service. I said what? We have the right to cancel your service. I told them so you think you're going to come out to my place charged me $900 to fix the Heat and I'm in the exact situation I was from the beginning the manager told me they were canceling my service All I can say is I would not recommend this place to anyone and how they're in business is unbelievable read more

I called the nice lady back and she was actually able to make my appointment earlier to help me out. They arrived on time and performed the repair.
