Exterior - a bakery storefront!

My first review was a 5-star but since my initial visit, the menu has changed and the drinks are even MORE incredible. The presentation of each drink is really special. My drink this time had coffee boba in it! BANG! BANG! -Stick em up buster- Bourbon, Cognac, Coffee, Apricot My friend ordered: Mojito-Colada -It tastes like coconut- Rum, Pandan, Mint, Citrus It was served in a box with sand and the umbrella was an edible fruit roll! A third time, friends and I ordered: -Starbees (a pumpkin spice espresso martini) -Electric-Penicillin (it glowed!) -Granny Mary's Tea (in a teacup!) SO CUTE. SO FUN.

Nice bartenders, lovely upscale speakeasy classy lounge vibe! Cute for pics. We had their drinks and they were a little watered down for the price, but the atmosphere balanced it out. They have a cool smoked drink that's neon green and lights up!! I'd go there again.

Operation Midnight Climax was first brought to my attention when one of my friends mentioned a new speakeasy had opened up downtown. Since I make it my intention to try out new spots in White Plains, my interest was instantly piqued. Cut to it sweeping across my feed on Yelp a few days later; pics looked great, so when one of my colleagues and I were looking to get together for drinks, we thought this was the perfect opportunity to check this place out. OMC sits on Martine Ave right off the main commercial strip of downtown White Plains. In true speakeasy style, the space is hidden in the back of another business - in this case, Sweet Temptations Bakery. Walking in it looks like a typical bakery, but the back wall contains a hidden door which opens up to the speakeasy. The aesthetics are striking - purple lighting, velvet chairs/banquettes, an impressive bar, and a lot of different finishes that make for conversation pieces. They really did a great job with the space. I heard that the people behind OMC are the same as The Blind Pig across the street; this makes sense as the aesthetics are similar, albeit Blind Pig is more of a traditional bar. Anyway, onto the food and drinks. The menu isn't large but they have a selection of apps and pizzas as well as a selection of specialty and classic cocktails; for a spot that just opened I thought they had a pretty full menu. I decided to browse their specialty cocktails and went with the Fat Man which was a (I think) gin-based drink with notes of grape. It was really good - smooth and not too strong. They also carved their name into the large ice cube in the glass which I thought was a nice touch. For food we decided to get a few shareables: the charcuterie plate, cheese place, lamb kebabs, and truffle popcorn. I'm not a big lamb fan but did partake in one kebab and it was pretty good - it came with a tzatziki-like sauce on the side which was a nice complement. The charcuterie plate was more just assorted meats - it was pretty good but I thought it could have been leveled up a little with more charcuterie accents. I felt the same about the cheese plate - they can probably combine these two together or just add more to each to make them a more complete dish. The popcorn was great - it had a lot of flavor and in addition to the truffle it was also seasoned with parmesan - I honestly didn't think it would be seasoned so well but they exceeded by expectations. Service was excellent - our server did a great job making sure we were taken care of and made awesome suggestions from the menu. On a higher level, the entire team was super friendly - I could tell a lot of effort and love went into this place. Overall, OMC is a total yes; I'm really glad a spot like this opened in White Plains, and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

This speakeasy just opened in White Plains. I walked by last week, but I thought it was just a bakery. It's not! Walk through the bakery and through the pink floral doors to get to this speakeasy: Operation Midnight Climax! (OMC) I'm so glad I stopped by. I headed back a few days after I first walked by; I realized I completely missed this speakeasy. I saw the same entrance online and realized there was more to see! I stopped by after OMC had been open for about a week. I sat at the bar, but there was plenty of seating: in the dessert portion of OMC, at tables in the speakeasy, and there were a few spots at the bar. The drink and food menu is pretty vast. They have an array of speciality cocktails and the standards. I'll definitely have to come back again or a lot to try more of their options. If you've tried the only other speakeasy in White Plains, Blind Pig, that's across the street, this is the owners' second spot in the area. The vibes here are completely different than BP. Here, there was more lighting, it was quieter and there were a lot of larger groups here, more table seating, etc. I recommend checking out both places (BP + OMC) though! I can't wait to come back here again. I'm glad this place opened in WP! The ambiance and vibes here are unlike any other spot in Westchester!

Came here with my best friend on a Sunday afternoon. We had the best time. The bartender was amazing. She was so sweet and made the best drinks. I had the "apple apple apple" it was so delicious, not too sweet. Place is decorated so beautifully. And super clean.

Super cute place!! The decor is 10/10 for vibes. Service was a little slow to get drinks considering it wasn't too busy when we went- but was worth the wait , drinks are delicious , the chef and staff were very nice. We haven't tried the food yet but heard great things and will definitely be back to try more items. Looked delish from the plates we saw come out - Very nice addition to the neighborhood - it'll def be a success

This place is great, velvet seating, dark purple lighting, full bar with extensive list of options. Beautiful decor everywhere with two private tables. Arrived at 8pm on a Sat night, had to wait 15 minutes before getting in. At the moment, this place is CASH ONLY and there's no ATM inside. Drinks were great, around $15-$20 each, small glasses but packed a punch. Place was packed, seats about 50 people. At one point, it was standing room only. Line was around the block by the time we left at 10pm. Many people there were dressed to impress, but not all, so come as you are. You have to walk inside the sweet shop to get to the speakeasy. Great new place!

We're big fans of the Blind Pig and since this is the same owners, we figured we'd give it a try.

Excellent service, delicious drinks, and cool vibes. Chill place to grab drinks with friends…read more Billiards and board games. They do karaoke on Mondays. Easy street parking nearby. Jennifer gave us fantastic service and recommendations. I loved my espresso martini. I chose peanut butter banana whiskey in it and it was fantastic! The s'mores martini was so great. Big marshmallow in it. My boyfriend enjoyed his old fashioned. If I lived here, I would definitely be a regular.

One or two people were at the bar already. It looked like setup was still going on by the owner and bartender. The vibe is definitely still dive bar or sports bar. It's not the speakeasy feel we were hoping for. It's too bright, and the music is pop-y. Big TV over the bar and on the wall. They were out of Baileys, which was central to most of their seasonal drinks. We said we'd order something else as our first round, and the owner said he'd go get Baileys for our second round. It took forever to get our cocktails. And like I said, there was barely anyone in the bar. I don't recommend the Empress. Too heavy on the citrus and not a full glass (see pic). The old fashioned was good but also small. Prices were more than I would have expected. We decided not to stay around for a second round - and as it turns out, the owner hadn't yet gone to get another bottle of baileys.

Recently stopped by to try their Sweet Truffalo and Tajín Tamarindo wings for a wing walk…read more The Sweet Truffalo was interesting...kind of a sweet buffalo vibe with that truffle twist. It's different in a good way, but I was expecting a bit more heat and punch. Still tasty, just on the milder side. The Tajín Tamarindo wings were probably the more fun one...sweet, tangy, and that chili lime type kick. Good idea flavor wise. Last year I also tried their Pineapple Sweet Chili wings and Jalapeño Cilantro wings. Pineapple Sweet Chili was a mix of sweet pineapple flavor with a mild chili sauce. More sweet than spicy, kind of sticky and tropical. Jalapeño Cilantro was a fresher, herb forward flavor with jalapeño heat and cilantro brightness. Not super heavy or saucy, more of a lighter, zesty wing. Overall, Hudson Grille is more of a vibe spot than a dedicated wing destination. The flavors are creative and fun to try, especially if you like sweet or fusion style wings, but consistency and boldness can vary.
