A few friends and I stopped by for lunch. While this wasn't our first visit as a group, each of us has been here several times on different occasions. We ordered the chicken sandwich, the spicy chicken sandwich, and the house burger. Overall, the food was good. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and enjoyed it, although I was expecting a bit more heat. It was flavorful but tasted milder than I anticipated. The desserts looked beautiful (as you can see in the photo). I didn't try one myself, so I can only share what my friends said. They thought they were good, though nothing particularly memorable. It was an extremely hot day, so we were looking forward to ordering sangria. Unfortunately, even though it's listed on the menu, they weren't serving it, which was a little disappointing. We went here for dinner tonight and if did not disappointment!! Last week this place just won for best wings in White Plains, and we had to try it! The chipotle dry rub wings are AMAZING!!!! We definitely see why they won this award! We also had the spicy clam pasta and it was so delicious and spicy! We also had drinks which were also yummy! Excellent brunch! Our group tried almost all the dishes (6 of us) and that included drinks, which were a good additional benefit. The eggs, bacon, sandwiches, burger, and all the rest was perfect. I used to really like Lilly's, but the last few times I've been there, the food and service have slipped a bit. I am often there during normal dinner times - sometimes by myself, sometimes with friends or colleagues. Recently, it has taken time to get seated even when it's not very busy. The menu I think is mostly the same over the years, but it just seems somewhat bland where I used to find it flavorful and fresh. Last time I was there, I had a pizza which was very salty and a little burned. Still ok but not wonderful. Service was slow - like they had forgotten me...I had to have someone find my server so I could pay after waiting quite a while for someone to return. A few friends and I went to Lilly's one weekend for Brunch. The restaurant was already busy, luckily we had a reservation for three. We were given the option of inside or outside, and considering it was a beautiful warm day, we opted for outside. For an appetizer we ordered the roasted Brussels sprouts. They were absolutely delicious, and I had ti stop myself from eating all of them before sharing. For our main course we each ordered our own pizzas. When I found out they had an eggs Benny WITH gf crust available, I was 100% in. I still dream about this pizza and the moment I can go back to order another. Even though we did not have reservations because of timing, we were able to take advantage of an availability that came up for our party. This came highly recommended by fellow Yelpers. She was very kind and got us the drinks. I apologize to going to her being that she was in our waitress she was the bar she was behind the bar, taking care of the people behind the bar so somebody finally came. We ordered a drink. Then the young man was also nice enough to give us complementary shots. I guess it was for the wait or the inconvenience which was nice, but if things are gonna change, I think they should let the customer know even if the other waiter had an emergency or something like that. Lots of choices, definitely a different type of menu. I enjoyed the ricotta croquettes. They put a little bit of honey at the bottom. I also had the Margherita Pizza and the Carne Asada. So there I was again today with a friend. Ronald was our server and honestly I don't throw the word excellent around , but I have to say he was excellent . I think more importantly, one of the reasons why this restaurants to me is a well oil machine is because all the service workers work together as a team. What a lovely brunch spot! My boyfriend took me on a surprise date here and even with no reservations, we were still able to be seated pretty quickly. If you want to sit outside, you would have to make a reservation as it seems to be a very popular spot. Since it was brunch, the items we got actually came with a complimentary mimosa! We wanted to try a lot of different things and here's everything we got: 1. The Benny Pizza: I had really wanted their smoked salmon pizza but unfortunately it was not available. This pizza however was basically a pizza version of an eggs benedict which was really interesting. I loved the creaminess of the eggs and the texture of the crust. It wasn't too thick nor was it too soft that it tasted soggy. Although next time, I may not order this if it is just me and one person because it was a large portion. 2. Tuna Tartare: Not much to say other than it was a delicious appetizer and it tasted really fresh. It came with tortilla chips as well and honestly, I wish it had more herbs on it instead of avocados. I think the fresh herbs made it brighter. 3. Chicken & Waffles: Fun fact, if you ask for hot sauce, they will give you a mini bottle of Tabasco which I thought was really cute! This dish was alright to me, I thought that it tasted a bit average and maybe the chicken was a bit underwhelming. 4. French Toast Napoleon: Prepare yourselves because this is a tall order of French Toast! By this point, I was already pretty full even though we were sharing everything and I sort of wished I hadn't ordered so much. I did however enjoy all components of this dish and I definitely would have finished it if I hadn't ordered the pizza. 5. Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake: We have never had this before but always heard about it because of Gordon Ramsay, so we decided that today would be the day for us to try! I thought it had some fun layers but I feel like the middle was a bit dry. It seemed like it should've been soaked so that all the flavors would be equally distributed throughout the cake. Nonetheless, it was a decent cake. The décor in the restaurant was nice and vintage but I don't really think the music playing really made sense with the theme. The music was more pop which was fine but just something I had noticed. Went to Lilly's for happy hour at the bar and they had great deals! Cocktails were $10, apps were around $8-$10, and pizzas were around $12. We got Lilly Mays to drink and truffle fries to share. The truffle fries were great and the drinks were strong. We moved outside to the patio and ordered the bee-sting pizza. It was so good and came out quickly. I came recently for brunch and was disappointed. I've enjoyed both their brunch and tapas dinner menu in the past but this time around, the experience was lackluster. The brussel sprouts were delicious as always. Super crispy and flaky. On their website, they mention that brunch comes with a free mimosa, but this is not noted on the menu in the restaurant so you have to specifically ask the waiter for it. For my entree, I got the loaded popover. I asked for the chorizo on the side and they initially forgot this request and I had to send it back. When they brought the dish back, it wasn't the same preparation. They gave me an open face popover with scrambled eggs, cheese, and onions on the side. The ingredients were not baked into the bread. It wasn't flavorful at all. My partner got the salmon and eggs and also found it flavorless and dry. Hopefully they were just having an off day. read more

But at the end of the day it was a bit of a they offer everything but didn't do a single thing really well. For Small Plates we got: - Ricotta Croquettes: Just ok. Had the texture of hush puppies and wished the honey more evenly coated each croquette versus just sitting on the bottom of the dish - Fried Chicken: Pretty good but this is really just a big chicken tender than fried chicken. Also not sure if we didn't get our white BBQ sauce or whatever sauce that was drizzled on the top of the tenders is supposed to be white BBQ sauce? It wasn't white nor was it creamy. - Carnitas Tacos: The lime, pickled onions and cilantro fixings made this taco great. The pork itself didn't taste like carnitas, more like traditional pulled pork than carnitas flavor. We also split a Caesar Salad - this was my Hub's favorite dish of the night (kind of says a lot about the food) mostly because the salad is well dressed and also it is a finely chopped salad. And we shared a Bee Sting pizza (soppressata, chili oil, honey, mozzarella,oregano, parmesan). I was most excited for this but the crust ended up not being crusty and the pizza was pretty floppy. Also the flavors were so muddled - soppressata was lost to the chili oil and honey they covered the slice in. TBH the pizza was most disappointing. The side of cauliflower was good though - the spicy muhamara sauce was delicious. Lastly we finished the meal with the basque cheesecake which would have been good as is but the entire cheesecake is drizzled in this really super sweet artificial-tasting caramel sauce (we had to scrape it off the cake to salvage it). I couldn't drink but Hubs had two of their Aged Manhattans and they were going down pretty quickly for him so I'll take it as the cocktails are good. Overall my assessment is that it's more of a spot for casual drinks and shared bites with friends than a real-meal destination although you may have trouble hearing much conversation as the noise level is quite loud. read more

We were seated in the tented area, which was a nice extension of the restaurant but was a bit loud with the rain and wind we had that day. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Loved the menu options and the food was great. The breakfast pasta was like a morning version of Mac and cheese. So creamy with the perfect hint of spice from the breakfast sausage. That order comes with three tacos. We didn't think the pizza was better than mediocre. To be fair, we ordered an unusual pizza and the more traditional pizzas could be better . I did not like the upside down umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. I think the atmosphere could have benefited from more mood lighting/string lights. A staple of White Plains. My favorite place to go to when I am not sure what to eat with my husband. So many different bar food options. Our favorite is the brussel sprouts for an app and the bee sting pizza for an entree. Drinks are also very good here. Durning the summer months there is outside seating and a nightlife after 10 if that is your vibe. Definitely try them for either dinner, brunch or a night out. read more
