I first worked with Mike last September through Home Depot pro referral. Mike was the first to reply, he made sure he knew all the details of the job needed including how quickly I needed it done to be sure he could help. I actually had an incredibly short deadline to meet, but Mike was able to accommodate by fitting me into the second half of his day. Mike and his team showed up on time, they repaired ceilings in two rooms before they painted and they did a fantastic job! The repairs and painting were completed beautifully and meticulously, they completed the job all in one day, his team did a great job protecting the belongings in the home from paint (as they had to work around a tenant living in the home), and they left behind an incredibly clean work site. Mike and his team did a great job, they are true professionals, they were also a pleasure to work and I think his prices are fair as well. I found Oceguera Painting through Home Depot. They have a list of contractors and I gave HD my information. Mike called back quickly, I told him I wanted to have 3 rooms painted. He came out on time and looked at the job and wrote down everything, which is surprising. He gave me an estimate with all the jobs detail and price. I was looking for a company that could paint the exterior of the house, do the wood rehab of a custom skylight, repair/rehab of wood trim around certain windows that were leaking, and then be reasonably priced compared to everyone else. HSH had really good reviews, was licensed, competitively priced, and Al's communication and follow up the entire time was excellent! HSH was at a price point that was not the lowest and not the highest either given what needed to be done to the house. After locking in the project, Al was really good following up on the details of the paint, what needed to be done, and the start date. HSH was always early, communicated the entire time to address my needs/concerns, and when i did not like the color we had selected, Al quickly adjusted by returning to the paint store to make sure we were satisfied. I really appreciated him taking my concern seriously and wanted to ensure we were happy. After the project was done there were several areas I brought up to his attention, and he immediately addressed them without an ask. Al's responsiveness to concerns and clients satisfaction is an outlier in today's day and age, and I really appreciated him taking ownership of correcting what was missed. We've repainted the entire interior, had them patch drywall, and paint the exterior. We've also used them for small jobs like a bathroom wall and most recently just a couple touch up walls where we removed some shelving and there were holes. They matched the paint really well and you'd never know we had drilled and repainted. I appreciate that they don't require a minimum amount of work and they are so so efficient. Every time we've reached out the job is done within a couple days and their pricing is fair. It was about a three hour job to sand, prep then prime and paint an outside metal closet door. Russell actually replied with a reasonable estimate within an hour. I found him to be friendly honest, and professional. Since it was a small job and his crew was out on a bigger house painting project he did it himself rather than have me wait. He did a great job as you will see in the photos. I highly recommend A1 Painting.

John wasn't the cheapest but the paint work on my neighbor's house looked pretty good even after a few years so I decided to give John a try. The results were night and day compared to the previous painter I hired - surfaces were properly prepped and touch-ups were no issue during the warranty period. After the warranty expired, John was generous enough to still offer touch ups and only charged me bare minimum labor for 1 worker (I provide the paint). The worker didn't cut any corners as he sanded and prepped all surfaces and now the house looks brand new again. Can't thank John enough for his kind offer.
