They…read moredidn't remove old caulking before applying the new one, and the glaze itself had 3 issues with it: some weird black spots, a section where the glaze dripped down and had hardened, and an exposed part of the tub that wasn't patched correctly. Also, the technician didn't speak English that well, so it was very difficult to communicate with him. The owner reached out to me and wanted to make it right. I wasn't expecting this since usually companies will just take your money and disappear but apparently if you just tell this company about it, they'll try to make it right. I took a few weeks to do a back and forth with them about the work that would be done, and they were very polite and professional throughout the whole thing. The front office was awesome with scheduling and answering questions. The same technician was assigned to the fixes, but I requested a different technician be assigned and they obliged. The new tech did a good job, and I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome. There was some overspray again, but not a huge deal as the black spots and the exposed part of the tub were properly addressed. I found out that one of the issues I originally had (the black spots) were caused by my shower leaking and water dropped onto the glaze as it was drying. Seems like the first tech didn't put a cover over my shower head, but this new tech did. He also spoke English better than the other tech, so no translation app was needed. During this second fix-up visit, the owner himself came on-site to make sure everything was done correctly. Overall, I'm satisfied with the work that was done. It seems even if they do mess up, they'll eventually fix it. If the second tech was the one who did the work first, this would be a 5* review.

Our furniture (six chairs and four table legs) was methodically and beautifully refinished. I was so impressed I asked them to refinish the table that the legs went to as well. I was heart broken to hear that they were not accepting custom orders and wanted to do more creative work of their own, but only because I wish they had told me that earlier! They showed me some of their custom pieces, signs, and photos on their website and I wish I had known sooner! I would have loved something more creative than refinishing my boring black furniture white. It was literally something my mother was complaining about, how boring white was! The company is run by a mother daughter duo (Sandy and Kayla) and they are really communicative and respectful. They also offered pick up and deliver and updated me with progress and pricing with images. With all of the rain it took a while to get my order back, but they let me know each time why there was a delay and it was always to ensure quality of their work. If I am lucky, they said they'd let me know if they'd be willing to finish up our table top. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that they will because their work is truly great quality and well worth the wait.

Walter worked with us to pick the right product and colors. We went with Shinnoki real wood veneer panels. They are beautiful and durable. Once they got the veneer up, they routed then hand-filed all of the openings. Then that meticulously painted the face frames to match the veneer. They even painted around the drawers where you can see very little of the painting they did. That shows a lot of pride! Walter also gave us the look of frameless cabinets even though we would have had to replace the cabinet boxes in order to make them frameless. That's a lot of extra work. We got a custom job for less than the price of a non-custom job. In the photos you can see the detail I'm talking about. I've included before and after pictures. The before pictures are all dark, ugly drawers and doors. The after pictures are the modern, two-tone look. In one photo in which I have a drawer pulled out with hot pads in it, Walter designed that and made it fit. There was not a drawer in there before because it's under the stove and the gas line was in the way. But Walter moved it. Walter's very conscientious and not afraid to tell you if he thinks something is not going to look good. He'll do whatever you want, but we learned that he knows what he's talking about. He identified the issue quickly and highlighted the lazy workmanship from our kitchen installers (Taranto Construction, Inc in Claremont, CA) who were subcontracted through Lowe's (who we purchased our kitchen from). The shelves collapsed because of loose screws from lazy installers at Taranto Construction, Inc. It's infuriating to have to pay someone to come solve an issue that goes back to completely loose screws in the hardware that would've taken an extra 5 seconds to properly tighten at the initial install. But they know people won't see it, so they cut corners. DO NOT EVER USE TARANTO CONSTRUCTION INC in Claremont CA for a kitchen install, or any Lowe's in the surrounding area, as this is who they refer the work to. After spending a short amount of time with Walter, it's clear he knows what he is doing and is a professional. He even tightened and adjusted other cabinet doors in our kitchen he noticed issues with that had nothing to do with the cabinet shelves he came to fix. I hired Anthony Decorators to repaint my house and I was very impressed by their work. Tony is a very experienced painter and he did an amazing job. He fixed the exterior wall and door that were poorly painted by another decorator, and made them look beautiful. He also repainted the kitchen cabinets with a new color, giving it a fresh and modern look. I am very happy with his work and his professionalism. We first met Tony in Pasadena, 20 years ago, where we hired him to do work in our home. He is the best of the best. What people don't know about Tony is that he started at a Yale art school where he had received a scholarship. His work is that of an artist. He did such a beautiful job in our home that we flew him out to Texas to re-do our home there. I can't tell you how many compliments we get on his work. He painted and fauxed walls and beams. He beautifully refinished our kitchen cabinets which saved us so much money as we didn't have to buy new ones. I can't say enough about his quality of work and also as a quality, dependable person.
