If I felt I needed to change my med dosage she did so with concern. Making sure it was what I really wanted to do. Thorough out my life of being on meds for anxiety I was often changing meds and dosages. So I knew what to do if I felt I needed to change. She was very accommodating to my needs. She listened to my side effects and if she didn't think it was working she would work with me to lower or change my meds. My husband has been diagnosed with serious medical issues so I recommend he speak to Dr Williams. She has also helped him tremendously. And still is. But that's his own review. Dr Williams has done a lot for me and not charged me like she could. I'm greatful for her. If you feel she has a tough demeanor.. trust her you'll change your mind

Don't even try to talk about symptoms as all she wants to do is massively increase your dose, My boyfriend calls her nothing but a drug dealer. I was on a medications for almost 6 years and she dropped me because I didn't disclose medication I was receiving from another doctor for almost 10 years. Williams wasn't the prescribing doctor so I didn't know it was imperative to inform her or I would have. If you're looking for a psychiatrist that cares and will actually listen, do yourself a favor don't come here. She rushes you off the phone but believe me she bills your insurance for the full half hour. She got me completely hooked on several of the "medications" and then abruptly ripped them from underneath me which caused a horrible down ward spiral in my mental health. Myself, my counselor and boyfriend will be reporting her to the Maryland physicians board. This doctor doesn't care about her patients, it's very evident she in it for the money. I was in a worse mental health state after being a patient of hers. I regret ever walking into her office. Not to mention how unethical she is as she likes to sleep with her married patients. She replied to the last review of me being "disgruntled" I don't think so, but when your quack methods of practicing interfere with my mental health I will warn others. Nurse Practitioner Berthe Chagang treated me as if I was a drug addict for taking the medication as prescribed to me by my ACTUAL doctor not a nurse practitioner like herself. I've been seen for many years at the clinic she now is employed. Nurse Berthe refused to refill them after my Monthly visit. I had to beg to have my correct dose refilled for days. She refused to send in my monthly prescription which I've been getting from a real psychiatrist. This nurse practitioner completely stepped out of bounds telling me she won't send it in because it's against HER BELIEFS. I'm completely offended by her negligent behavior & will report her to the board. She is judgmental rude and should have her license pulled. Nurse Practitioner Berthe refused to fill a script due to her personal beliefs not caring nor listening to what is best for the patient. I'm appalled that she is allowed to see patients with this horrible behavior. She left me without my medication when she never followed through with filling my script on the insurance refill date causing me severe anxiety & panic attacks. My husband & myself are extremely upset & will be looking into this further. I went days without my prescription which I've been on for over 28 years with documentation. If you need a school physical or vaccines any clinic will do, but if you want a doctor who cares about their patients, a front desk staff that doesn't get away with lying to parents and their boss William, run fast and far. Some doctors go above and beyond for the welfare of their patients, not Hoffert though! One issue you need their help with and you won't get a response from her or her front desk staff. She corrected me at least 3 times like an English teacher when I accidentally called her Mrs. instead of Doctor, "Umm it's Doctor" then when she got done talking she left the room. I sat there for over 25 minutes until I heard janitorial staff emptying trash cans. When I looked outside my room, the work staff was gone & the lights were off! The janitor took me to her office. She gave a curt apology, said the appointment was "NOW" over and go get my referrals. She waived her hand at me as a dismissal and went back to typing as if I had interrupted her! I was LIVID. You don't treat patients like garbage or a nuisance it doesn't matter what your TITLE is. She made me feel like I was a waste of her time.
