    I had auto payment due to the extra $10 discount, which i later found out was not a discount. Again…read moredeceptive practices. On Aug 6th 2015, I paid my bill early out of a separate checking account. On Aug 7th 2015 my account was auto drafted even though i had paid the bill in full the previous day. I was unaware of the double payment until Aug 10th then i contacted Dish Network. After being transferred several times I was told my payment would be refunded within 7-10 days. Today on Aug 20th 2015 (the 10th day) I still did not have my refund of nearly $200. After speaking with 4 different reps for over 35 minutes, I was told that my refund had not been approved and i would not have my money for 23 more days, due to mailing the refund to my address. This is absolutely absurd. I was punished for paying my bill early and i was incorrectly told by representatives that i would have my money within 10 days. However that was not the truth. Then i could not get my refund expedited but i could get a small credit on my next month's bill. After complaining to management I stated that i would cancel my service, because obviously Dish Network doesn't care about their customers. I have bills to pay and groceries to buy for my family. I could not afford a $400 Dish Network bill for the month of August. After arguing with the rep for several minutes she wanted to inform me that i shouldn't cancel. I'm not arguing anymore. I couldn't get my refund timely and then i couldn't even cancel my service. This is a terrible business practice and I'm surprised they still have customers. Also i refused to pay the full cancellation fee due to the fact that they still had my $195.62 that has not been refunded. I have complained to dish network nearly every month of service because of Dish's mistakes. I'm tired of dealing with poor customer service and outrageous bills. I have canceled my service today. I have complained before and nothing has improved. Also while I'm taking the time to write, I was very upset that Dish was going to cancel Channel 7 (KATV News). If i didn't get channel 7, there was no reason for me to pay for satellite service anyways. However I will not wait around to find out the verdict.

    This story starts in March of 2019. At&t offered 1 GB internet service, I was excited about it. I…read morecall and request the service, they say the infrastructure is not completed but they can run the cable to my house while they wait, I say cool let's get it done. They installed the fiber optic cable and my internet speeds were blazing. The contractor comes out to install the infrastructure and they hit a snag, leave their equipment in the street to return the next day, unfortunately I wake the next morning and there is a flood in my yard. I didn't think much about it until my wife text me about how much water was flowing through the yard. I call central Arkansas water and they find their water service had been damaged by the contractor who came out to put in the infrastructure for the at&t fiberoptic pedestals. They dig a hole the size of a small swimming pool and take 12 hours to fix the issue. Unfortunately it would seem that they failed to come back and install the rest of the PVC that would be used to run the fiber under my driveway. Fast forward seven months and the fiber is still running along the ground and my neighbor is out cutting her grass and when she uses her weed eater cuts the cable in half. It takes at&t three days to fix this issue. They move the cable down towards my house to a closer pedestal but it's still above ground running over people's driveways and through their yard. Fast forward another three months and here we are today, cable still above ground, at times literally running through people's yards and drive ways, still very much vulnerable to being cut at any time and at&t keeps sending technicians out who leave unable to bury the wire because there is no PVC under ground to run the cable through. I call their buried wire center again and it's the same old run around. We're escalating to a third level manager and we'll have the contractor call you. I'm not really holding out any hope but we'll see what they do this time. Slightly frustrated with the lack of caring from At&t and their employees. Moral if this story, you might want to go with a different internet carrier because my reviews of At&t would have negative marks. Photos and video provided for verification.

After canceling service, they didn't withdraw anything…read morefrom my account the month after I canceled service, but they did each month afterwards. One of their customer service representatives asked me why didn't I tell them to cancel my auto draft as well. After I brought to their attention how much they owed me, they sent me to a collection agency stating that I owed them $85.01. They owed me $424.64. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SPEAK TO ANYONE IN THE UNITED STATES.
