I came in because I had injured my knee falling twice. So I filled out all the paperwork. I had been second behind an existing patient. Triage by RN Tatiana was very charming and efficient. The doctor was very nice and explained the x-rays I needed. It was uncomfortable, but necessary. I was lead back to the exam room, where Tatiana came in with medicine and water, which I took. I had two injections for the pain because my knee needed to be x-rayed and manipulated. I was fitted for a large knee brace. I felt cared for by the entire staff. I will be back for any (and all) future appointments. I highly recommend them. read more

Went for an X-ray to see if my son broke his thumb. Slow as molasses-waited forever when there was one person in front of us. Doctor seemed uninterested, no urgency, very clueless, no bedside manner at all. Nurse scolded my son twice for his possibly broken thumb saying "did you learn your lesson"- not your place to speak to my son like that nurse lady. Ultimately- doctor said it was not broken when indeed it was. Thanks radiology for ultimately doing your job right. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. The staff were completely unprofessional. They billed me incorrectly and I have tried since receiving my bill to contact their billing department and they refuse to respond regarding the incorrect billing. I have reported them to the better business bureau. Please review your bills after receiving them as they probably have false charges on them. For context I was billed for a forearm splint, and HOT/COLD Bottle application, neither of which applied for my reason for the urgent care visit. read more

I can not say enough about Optimum care! I get fantastic care every single time. The first time I went , was for my son. He was not diagnosed correctly at another urgent care and as soon as we got to our room the staff was great got him a breathing treatment and Ms. Athena PA-C was extremely caring and making sure he was comfortable she gave him all the proper care and treatment and he was well with in two days! The second time I went was for my self. I too was just sent off with ibuprofen at another urgent care two days later woke up miserable and decided to come to Optimum. I was so lucky to see Ms. Athena walk through the door and she remembered my son as well! My medical assistant Khizra was so amazing caring and thoughtful she listened to me gave me a breathing treatment made sure I was okay gave me water and crackers she was just over all so kind and so thoughtful and showed so much compassion. When I saw Ms. Athena I was so extremely happy and grateful just because I knew the care and compassion she showed to my son, I knew I would get the same treatment as well. She never made me feel rushed she did a thorough exam and turned out I ended up having bronchitis. She set me up with all the proper care and medication talked to me with compassion and care and answered all my questions. She goes above and beyond for her patients .I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is. I will definitely recommend optimum and will continue to go in for urgent care treatment . read more

This place is a scam. They will lie to you about services and charge you outrageous prices. They are not transparent at all. I would never ever go here again. The doctor wanted to give me shots and pills for a sprained ankle. He wanted to prescribe me as many different things as possible so I could make them more money. This place is a joke. They don't take cigna insurance so I I had to pay 50$. I came because my throat swelled up like a golf ball was in my throat my thyroid is bad. The Dr. Didn't believe anything I said about it because I've had issues for a couple years but first time being here he did not examine me at all basically thought I was some junkie wanting pain killers or something that's how I was treated at least. My problem isn't ain it's trying to swallowed food or water while my throat is closed off half way. Then the Dr had this entitled attitude. Never again will I visit this place. I have used Optimum Urgent Care in Stafford a few times now and I have to say that they have helped me tremendously. I don't usually like giving reviews but in this case I think they deserve a shout out for their care. The last two times I was seen there they have kept me out of the hospital. I saw some reviews saying that the shots they give out are an attempt to scam insurance. I say that we are so used to getting the minimal care that anything more is suspicious. I have received shots and they have been so instrumental in my road for recovery that I am pleased to see a practice actually do more than throw pills at you and rush you out the door. Physicians have great bedside manners and really listen to the patient. I will keep coming here. The only reason why I did not give them a 5 is because the wait is hit or miss regardless of the amount of people there. read more

I brought my son here and a year later we received a bill for charges and services that did not take place. i called and asked for exact procedure and CPT codes then reported this to my insurance. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Seriously turn your car around. Find another urgent care, a minute clinic, the ER, a witch doctor, your neighbors kid in nursing at the local community college. Seriously anyone would be better. I went here because my 8 month old had a high fever that wouldn't break. My pediatrician advised me to get him seen. I called ahead to make sure someone was able to see a baby and was assured that they have staff that is competent in pediatrics. When I get there, it didn't seem like COVID precautions were being taken as people were standing shoulder to shoulder at the front desk. The doctor came in over an hour later saying that they were "so busy." He looked in my sons ears and then ordered strep test and a flu test. I told her he had the flu shot but he didn't seem to care. Then we had to wait for the results. I tried to leave twice while waiting. When I tired leaving I noticed him going into other patients rooms without washing his hands. Thank you for spreading diseases! I ended up leaving at 1030 after waiting over 25 minutes to speak to the office manager. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I didn't trust my care so flew back to see his pediatrician. I was told that babies don't get strep and that the test was a waste of time. He had a very common virus. I was given a handout on the virus and told what to expect. Next morning his nose started running and I started with a fever. Turns out that we picked another virus at optimum care. This establishment is a health risk and grotesquely disorganized. Worst experience. read more

This place is a RIPOFF and the front staff ppl are beyond rude. There was a issue with my insurance coming up on their computer and the two girls checking cracked a joke saying "well looks like the payment is gonna be your problem haha haha" are you serious?!? Also, when in the back getting ready to see the doctor, the assistants just randomly came into the room without knocking or anything...and they joked saying oh that's totally my bad...where the hell they go to school? Dork college..my god. The service by the doctors I had was actually ok...however!!! The worst of this is the billing department..you can clearly see they overcharge to try and blast your insurance. I was billed for "medical services after hours" which is $100. Ummmm the clinic closes at 6pm in Sunday's...we left at 530....how can you charge for after hour service.... Also, they don't just charge you for a visit, they also charge you a "global" charge of $500....what in the world...your double charging me for a visit for the doctor and also for stepping into the building with your name on it....??? The follow up visit I had....cost $819!!!!!!! For simply going in and having the doctor remove my bandage and give the ok.$800 for looking a something...are you kidding me?!?!? Just an absolute joke of a billing department. Not worth the time or headache. If you go and are planing to pay on your own..DONT! They don't show any of these charges on their "prices to expect" page. They go off of how much they can get outta your insurance. Lastly too, they put a note on my bill that they spoke with my insurance about the claim and the balance was remaining. I called my insurance and they didn't even know I had been billed!!!!!! This place deserves zero stars. The nurses were nice but the doctor was extremely rude, did not care or pay much attention to me as a patient. He demanded for me to take off my jacket rather than ask. He did not ask to take off my mask, he just started to take off my mask without saying anything. Also, I received shots in my behind (steroids, etc) and they didn't even give me a bandage and that's how I could get infections. I asked if they could transfer my medications to the walmart pharmacy and they didn't listen, they kept my prescription at their care even though they told me it was sent to the walmart pharmacy. Overall, they were very unprofessional and made it extremely stressful and difficult. read more

Came in with arm pain and hand swelling - was told it was probably a strained muscle. Asked if I could have bloodwork done to make sure it wasn't an infection (This was a Monday - I had mentioned I had an appointment for something else with my PCP on Friday) I was told they could do it - but it would take a couple days to get the results so just to have my doctor could do it on Friday (nevermind I could have gone to my PCP with this information in hand if they would have done it). Turns out a had a "textbook" case of cellulitis and my PCP was surprised they dismissed it as a strained muscle. Also - my husband went in for back pain - they gave him a brace that may cost a few hundred at most if you were to purchase it on your own - tried to charge my insurance over $2000!! Insurance paid about $600, they adjusted it about $1300 and sent me a bill for the remaining $150 read more

Wasn't feeling well so I went on Yelp to search out urgent care provider. I picked Optimum urgent & primary care. I called ahead and asked if they took TriCare. They do. I called when was heading that way and they sounded caring. When I entered the facility, I noticed how clean the building looked. The receptionist was pleasant and got me the paperwork I needed. I only had to wait 30 minutes. The nurse who took my vitals was absolutely sweet. When I first met Dr. Kabul, I felt immediately comfortable. He knew I was nervous bc of my condition but continued to reassure me he would help. He got the medications I needed, and how convenient, they have a pharmacy on the premises. Since I was away from my home, this made finding a caring physician and his staff so important to me. I will definitely go back if needing any medical assistance. read more

If I could give it a zero I would. I went here for a COVID test and pre-surgery blood work last month, both items were written on one order. I was asked which one I wanted to do first because I was told these were two separate appointments; I would have my first appointment and then get on their waitlist again for the second one. This was confusing to me, because this was my third surgery this year and the previous times (at a different urgent care) I was able to get everything done at once. I asked why I had to put my name on the list twice, was the blood work was done by a different person than the COVID test? I was told it would all be done by the same person. Was having a chronic issue. I went to another Urgent Care facility in a different state as the issues started while I was on vacation. There were issues there with losing blood samples needed for testing. That caused me to have to go see my GP when I got home. As my symptoms were negligible at that point there was not much he could do. Then over the weekend I had some issues so I went to Optimum Care. They close at 6:00 on sundays and I got there around 5:15. Everyone was very nice and professional. When I finally met with the doctor (and I say that correctly, this facility actually has a doctor not a PA on site) he actually took the time to talk to me and take a look at everything going on. He explained my diagnosis and how to treat what was going on. I left after 6:00. I was the only patient on site, he was very professional and willing to discuss what was going on with me, my diagnosis, treatment, and moving forward. He even offered to fill my prescription on site which would have taken a few more minutes (past closing time). I would go back here in a heart beat. I have really good health insurance but often I feel like wherever I go I spent maybe 5 minutes with a doctor or PA and I'm out the door with no explanation other than take this pill and you'll be fine. That was not the case here. I would highly recommend as the urgent care scene can be questionable at best. read more

After being refused to be seen by the doctors at KidMed (due to my son being adopted!), my husband brought our 9 year old to Optimum 5 minutes before closing time, and they graciously agreed to see him. The staff was kind & helpful, and Dr. Sealey was able to quickly diagnose our son with strep throat. read more

Went in 4th of July weekend with back spasms and within 15 minutes of signing in I was examined, treated, and receiving follow on medication from their on site pharmacy. Although I have not yet had to deal with any billing issues like some other reviewers, I am so far very impressed with their Urgent Care services. 5 STARS! read more

Medical care is fine. Billing capability with insurance providers is inept and incapable of filing with secondary. After billing five months after the service, another billing was only sent ten months after the service. The billing agency was told on both occasions to file with secondary insurance which they agreed to do. Now almost one year after the service, the billing department still has not filed with secondary insurance and is threatening collections. The office will not deal with billing issues, and the front office staff readily admits problems with the billing but will only forward the call to Doctor Kabiri's voicemail to deal with the issue. Given the billing problems, I will not be returning to Optimum care. If I could give a zero star, that would be my actual rating. Upon contacting both the doctor and the billing department, my situation appears to be resolved. The billing department filed under an earlier group number that changed due to the secondary insurance being bought out by a larger insurance company. Had the secondary insurance been properly filed the first time, none of this would have happened. During the contact, they identified that the same issue happened to another billing account and would need to be resolved. I have not received any notification of any problems or billing on that account. Dr. Kabiri did contact me to resolve and was in contact with his billing office within 48 hours. read more

Dr. Kabiri & his staff are knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. A well-known urgent care chain failed to acknowledge the severity of my issue and recommended that I schedule with a surgical center, after a 2 hour wait to see a physician, nonetheless. My issue worsened within a few days, but Dr. Kabiri was able to take care of it quickly. He definitely saved me from a trip to the ER! If you're in need of a TRUE walk-in urgent care center, then Optimum Care is the place to go. read more

He over prescribes medications for health issues not even present and causes more harm that good. during a routine physical he punctured my ear canals by improperly using a throat swab in my ears and the proceeded to charge me $700 for the procedure during my physical. The nurse was wonderful. She was kind, and gentle in caring for my injury. The doctor was extremely rough, despite me verbalizing that it was incredibly painful when he pressed on my wound. He was also not careful with dressing the wound, and his bedside manner leaves much to be desired. So what happened is that I had torn my toenail almost completely off. He repeatedly pressed down on the nail to show me how much it was draining and you can imagine how much that hurt. He seemed surprised that it was so painful. It was a busy day, and I was waiting in my car for an hour but altogether was there for about 4 hours. The dr kept coming in & out of the room, once leaving both my and another patient's doors wide open, so that I was able to hear his discussion with the other patient, which is a HIPAA issue. Once I was in the room, I had to ask the doctor to lift his mask to cover his nose. The nurse had an N95 and a surgical mask. He only wore an ill-fitting surgical mask. After reading several other reviews, I'm not sure I really needed the 2 shots I was given. I got a massive shot of antibiotics and pain meds in the glute. I mentioned this to the specialist I saw several days later and he seemed surprised that they gave me those shots. Just avoid this place. read more

This place has a creepy obsession with giving shots no matter the reason you are there and completely blows you off when you are trying to explain what is wrong. The male doctor I had wasn't even wearing a mask when he saw me, and encouraged me to take mine off. I highly recommend Optimum Care. I went there on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Both receptionists greeted me with a smile and one explained that I would receive a number. When my number came up on the door, I could come back in and register. (I had registered online and brought print outs as well so I am not sure why this was necessary.) She apologized for the hour wait which was totally understandable as not only was it a Sunday but it was the Sunday after the snowstorm that left so many of us without power for many days. Quite a few people were there for covid tests. After another 3 hour wait, a nurse called my phone to tell me they were ready for me. When I went back in, both receptionists greeted me again and apologized again for the wait. The nurse did the same, she was very warm and welcoming. She was very thorough and very sympathetic to the amount of pain I was in. Another nurse came in after she left to check on me and was just as friendly. Dr. Kabiri was very professional and kind. He listened closely and answered all my questions. He had another nurse come in to give me three shots and she was just as nice as everyone else. I was able to have my prescriptions filled there so I didn't have to make another stop when I was in so much pain on a rainy day. The entire place is clean, warm and welcoming. I have to admit I was a little wary of trying Optimum as I had had a bad experience at a different urgent care. But being a Sunday and my condition worsening, I felt I had no choice and I am very glad that I chose Optimum Care. I do not believe I would have had better care anywhere else.
