A couple of months ago I woke up with a sore throat so severe that it was difficult for me to swallow. Unfortunately, I am from out of state and since moving here have not had the time to find a good primary care doctor. With that being said, I found myself in a situation where I had to either go to the emergency room or find a doctor...QUICK! I contacted Optimum Care and was told I could come in right away. Upon arrival, a woman collected my personal information, then I began the dreaded doctor's office wait. There was a couple people ahead of me, so I did end up waiting about 20 minutes. However, to my utter surprise, my name was called next. The assistant weighed me, then escorted me to the exam room. She asked all the routine questions, as she entered information on a laptop, then left the room. Not a full five minutes later, the doctor appeared. He introduced himself as Dr. Kabiri (not positive if I've spelled that right), and began his assessment. He was polite, thorough (even suggested a full physical in the near future) and listened to me talk about my throat for what seemed like forever. He explained that it was his belief I had strep throat and proceeded to take a swab of my tonsils. He then left the room. Another five or 10 minutes passed before he popped back in to confirm the test was indeed positive. He used his laptop to electronically send my prescription to my local pharmacy, in which I promptly picked up without any issues. I was seen by Dr. Kabiri and had my prescription, in hand, in about an hour. I absolutely could not have been happier with my experience, and would recommend this office to anyone. For the past two years, my husband and I have used Optimum Care and are very pleased with Jing Britton, NP. If we need medical attention and Jing is not there, we have to see Dr. Kabiri. He seems to be more concerned about his weight loss program than in practicing medicine. He has a very "matter of fact" approach and does not have much of a bedside manner for an M.D. I do find his billing strange and quite pricy. However, as long he accepts the discounted rate our insurance pays, I have no problem. I dare say, if it weren't for Jing, his practice would suffer. I give her five stars. The office staff has always been accommodating and efficient and the nurses spot on. I give them five stars. Dr. Kabiri hasn't proven himself satisfactorily enough for a star yet. Medical care was fine. We waited over an hour (visit was for a child). They they charged a surgical code for a wound repair. Also charged for a follow up visit to change the bandaid they gave my son. I have been waiting months for a resolution. We would have went to Kid Med but they were closed, wish I would have waited for them to open. read more

I recently visited this urgent care with my son for the first time. Normally we go to KidMed but they were closed. I will NEVER return!!! The doctor was condescending and rude. He wanted to do blood work on my son so they sent in a nurse who in my opinion maybe did not have enough experience to be drawing blood from a child. She ended up poking around in my sons arm and then said let me get someone who is better at this. Although I agreed with the doctors assessment, I left feeling on the defense and frustrated with how I was treated. I would not recommend using this urgent care when there are so many other choices in the same area. read more

The worst medical care facility we have used in the last 3 years in the Stafford area. We are still receiving bills from Nov 2016 even though our last visit was over a year ago. The last time we contacted the billing department we were told that our account was clear and we never saw the doctor again but now there are "new" charges from two years ago. The doctor staff at Optimum were mediocre but the billing is absolutely atrocious. We will never use them again and we highly recommend using anyone else but Optimum Care. read more

This was a pleasant visit until i got the bill, Who pays 440,00 for sinus infection, That would be ME, charged for labs that i dont recall them taking. Breathing treatment that did nothing. When going here for treatment ask questions before any treatment performed, You may not be able to afford it,5 months later Sinus infection again, went to Min-clinic CVS $101.00 and done. Have been seen here several times by Dr. Sealey! Absolutely one of the best caring doctors I've ever seen! My problem is with billing! They coded my visit as a Primary Care visit and my visits were Urgent Care visits! Tricare denied the claim and they had me pay for the visits in Jan for August 2018! The billing office resubmitted the claim after my visit with the right codes! I kept checking with billing to see if Tricare paid getting nowhere decided it was time to call Tricare! They took care of the problem and sent billing the money even though they owed me! Called billing today July 2 2019 and they told me they got the claim and applied the money to my deductible! Great right? The problem is I'm Tricare Prime and have no deductible! Lady at billing said I had to call Tricare back and tell them they needed a new EOB and they could cut me a check since Tricare applied the money To my deductible! Tricare insist when I called this wasn't so! They did not apply the money owed to me on a deductible that doesn't exist . I called billing back to tell them this and now was told in their notes Tricare sent me a check! I have no such check but I can tell you what I've had is a nightmare because the billing for this Optimum Care doesn't know what their doing! I am writing this review not that its helping me get back the money I'm owed but maybe saving someone else this regret! Next time I will go to Tricare before I pay out of my pocket knowing they have never denied a claim that was properly submitted! I have been seeing Dr. Kabiri since the beginning of this year as I was seeking a primary care doctor to assist in the various issues related to my Lyme disease. From the first visit, Dr. Kabiri has been thorough, a good listener, and allows me as the patient to be involved in my treatment protocol. I never have to wait very long either. Dr. Kabiri as well as his staff are very friendly and accommodating. I have never left his office without a question answered. I have read some of the negative reviews and I have to say that my experience has been the complete opposite. I highly recommend Dr. Kabiri. read more

Avoid this office at all costs. I made an appointment with a doctor previously affiliated with this office. Rather than disclosing that the doctor had left, they booked the appointment. When I arrived to find that the doctor (who was in plan) was no longer associated with this office, they advised erroneously that they were participating. The doctor rendered services but guess what everything was out of network. Does not pay to lie in an effort to get business. HORRIBLE! We waited for over 45 minutes even though we were the only people there. Once we were brought back to the room we were asked the same questions repeatedly by the "assistant". The "assistant" started a nebulizer treatment on my child and when I asked why she said "oh the doctor wanted it done". Note that we were there for pink eye and a sinus infection, nothing that warranted albuterol. When the doctor came in he asked why did I request an albuterol nebulizer treatment!!!! I said I did not request it and that his "assistant" told me he ordered it, when he heard this he said he would be speaking with her about that and that it was "interesting". Also, I requested a school excuse for my child and they told me they can only write it for today even though he is not allowed in school until his eyes are completely treated. ** when we took our prescriptions to be filled the pharmacist was highly concerned as to why the doctor gave him two different antibiotic eye treatments and said they had never seen that before and wouldn't fill both.** Would never ever recommend. read more

My family has been going here for years, unfortunately it's time to look for another office. It now takes over an hour of sitting in the back room before seeing a doctor for every single medication refill. Over a dozen visits now that have taken over an hour, because they won't allow automatic refills on our medications. Dr. Britton is kind and understanding, but with the amount of scheduling mistakes that have been made on their offices behalf, the condescending manner and rudeness of the main Doctor, Kabiri, and the ridiculous wait times, I've had it with this office. read more
