We went to optimum Rv, my sales guy was Andre. Andre was amazing, he listened to what I wanted and out of all the motorhomes on their lot he took us right to what we wanted. He stayed with us through the whole negotiations and finance process. Jason did our walkthrough, he was very knowledgeable and patient. I would love to give it less stars but I can't. Long story short. I was dealing with an estate for a friend. Everything seemed to be fine when I signed the deal and listed it. It didn't sell and I am not saying that has anything to do with them. HOWEVER.. WHAT HAPPEND NEXT IS HORRIBLE. I arranged to come pickup the RV. Since I was unsure if it would make it from Florida back to Arizona, I set a specific date to pick it up and was told it would be ready at 10 am. I drove my vehicle, planning to tow it back as a precaution. I arrived and the RV was not pulled and ready as indicated. I waited hours for it to get pulled. I kept asking them as I not only needed to get the car carrier but i had to start on my way back to Arizona as I only took a few days off of work. I had to cancel the car hauler at one location because they were closing. I found another and put the deposit down on it. Back to the go to get the RV. Turns out it had a bad starter and they never checked it. They can't tell me when they will get it done but it will be several days. So now i drive back to arizona without the RV. Fast forward to a week later. I contact someone to pick up the RV and am told i have a balance to pay. Unknown to me as they said nothing about a balance when I arrived. It takes them a two months to get me an invoice which includes service for something I never approved. I have the Trust Attorneys reach out to them and they investigate. A week later they inform me that it's not for service.. It is actually for storage. $25 per day. They would not allow me to pickup the RV one week after I was unable to get it because of charges due. They were not able to tell me what the charges were for two months.. Racking up the $25 per day fee.. So now we settled, as I need to get this over with, for $2k in storage fees that are 100% due to the fact they did not have the RV ready , as promised, and failed to give me any sort of invoice for two months!!! read more

Avoid Optimum RV - Shady, Disorganized, and Untrustworthy I had an absolutely terrible experience with Optimum RV when consigning my RV with them. From the start, their communication was nonexistent--I rarely received updates, and they made little to no effort to actually sell my RV. It felt like they had no real interest in moving it, and I was completely left in the dark. Then, months later, they had the audacity to try and charge me $2,400 for basic repairs--nothing major, just simple fixes that should have cost a fraction of that. On top of that, they doubled the markup on my RV, clearly trying to squeeze out as much profit as possible at my expense. To make matters worse, their manager proved just how unprofessional they are. While I was still on the phone (though he thought I had hung up), he started talking trash about me to his coworkers. That level of disrespect and incompetence is unbelievable, especially from someone in a leadership position. If you value your time, money, and property, do not trust these guys. Sales person Marshall was fantastic and very helpful and knowledgeable! But James was not helpful at all! Both my husband and I both have excellent credit. However, James the finance manager wanted us to put down $5k as a "deposit" without even providing any terms, interest rates, monthly payments etc! We stated we wanted the terms prior to providing any deposit or money down. James informed us he would call us the next day. No phone call. We waited 3 days and still nothing. We called and still no answers. We informed them we were no longer interested in the motor home we were looking at. We noticed they continued to run our credit after they initially did. We froze our credit. And once again we were informed them we were no longer interested it the unit and we were looking at another unit elsewhere! read more

The day the inspection was to happen...14 minutes before the inspector got there I got a text telling me that the unit had sold the day before. I had contacted them the day before late in the day to make sure everything was all in order for the inspection and they said nothing about it being sold. Incredibly unprofessional group. I would not give them any stars if possible. I met with Will Goodman to look at a Newmar coach worth 250k I had concerns with the way the rv shook when driving. Well make sure you read all these reviews before dealing with this company. I should have read more and BELIEVED them. When I had my concerns after driving the rv Will had me sign a "WE OWE" aggrement stating the issues found and with that aggrement I had to put $5000.00 down or they would not even touch the rv to make any repairs to interest me in purchasing the rv. We after we discussed tires Will plain told me if we have to put a set of tires on it we will.You put the 5k down and we will fix it. Period or we will give you your money back. Well that turned out to be a huge LIE. After I left after leaving 5k as a good faith toward them repairing the rv to my liking so we could purchase everything just stalled. They repaired the few minor cabinet repairs that I could have done in an hour. But the biggest concern that I clearly stated to Will was the shaking when driving. Optimum took it to their guy and stated the rv still shook after getting tires balanced and that it was supposed to shake. This will be my fourth rv and none of them shake as I am in the tire and repair business and all my rvs drive like a dream. Wll after they said they could not repair it I tried to help and found a tire store close to them and they said they would take a look at it. after the tech put on 2 tires and said the other tires were out of round and it needed more tires. I had not got off the phone with the tires store when Will texted me from Optimum and said they were picking up the rv and it drove smooth as can be. Now why would the tire store guy tell me different. We were suppose to drive down june 14th to trade our newmar and pick up the newer one. Being skeptical I flew down instead and to my instincts the rv just still shook. We went back to the store and I was unhappy. I was tired of the back and fourth with the sales manager so Will got Rich Wosnoski one of the sales managers. As I stated to Rich what was discusse on the we owe aggrement Rich clearly stated the rv was in ready to go condition and if I did not take it I would not get my money back. I asked 3 times and Rich stated I was not getting it back. Well I left with out the rv and had to hire an attorney and go back and fourth for a month and a half. I spent hours on the phone calling the storeg getting put on hold for hours and never being able to get a hold of anyone I finally talked to someone who cared in the customer relations department. She read my attourneys letter and she helped me get a refund. DO NOT do business with these people as all the reviews are 100% TRUE as I found out. What was supposed to be a dream purchase turned into a nightmare. Awful customer service and sales department. We tried to sell our fifth wheel RV by consignment lowered the price several times. They called telling us they had an interested customer but they weren't able to make the full payment through getting a loan so they wanted us to accept 25g less than asking just to sell it. Then told us a couple weeks later we needed to pick up the RV they were going to charge a daily storage fee. We made contact several times to pick it up today. We arrived RV was not ready, they lost the license plate and the battery was dead we couldn't even bring the height up to connect it to get it moved. Mark was amazing and the only help he jumped the battery so we could get it moved. Unfortunately he is leaving the business too. I do not recommend this place. Many people walking around but no one doing anything. And there was a scratch on the side of the RV that was not there prior to drop off. Again extremely disappointed. read more

This dealer is very deceiving and will lie to you. I purchased a camper and they snuck a $7000 pdi fee. I should have walked then, but that was my mistake. Worst part is they didn't do the pdi. When I picked it up they had damaged it and the most impolite Manager ever, Scott, told me too bad you got a deal. Then they sent me out with a used power cord. It was raining so they put slides in and moved it so we could transfer stuff. The opposing bedroom slides wouldn't close all the way. Turns out there is a switch they didn't wire up that makes sure the bed is up so they don't touch. Dealer didn't even know about it. They also gave me the wrong outside hose, no ladder, broke the microwave tray and didn't tell me. Didn't test anything during the fake $7,000 PDI. Water pump didn't work right, stove had no power, generator didn't run. They said they'd stand behind it but it's been nothing but lies and now no communication. Drove 2.5 hours after agreeing on a price and putting a deposit down on the camper that the salesperson said "locked in my price" just for them to tell me they screwed up and had me down for a $10,000 down payment when there was no discussion of a down payment. Had I researched Optimun RV on all review websites I never would have done any business with the bold face liars in Ocala. There salesmen promising to get missing items, and problems fixed should be a legal contract with these dealerships. My salesmen lied about the unit being serviced, some missing items he stated he would take care of them, not to worry everything would be taken care of. The service rep doing the inspection said items were in places they were not. I should have made them lay everything out. Service left the furnace running and gray water overflowing. I discovered these after driving home 2 hours. 1/8 tank of propane wasted. Water sloshed up through shower drain into the camper. Service didn't put service to plumbing after getting furnace working. They broke the latch that had worked a couple hours earlier. These people slam and bang everything. Not one professional acting or looking one in the bunch I dealt with. Oh, I will say a finance guy / one of the managers told me the unit didn't have any remaining coach warranty. He said Thor Warranty doesn't transfer and sold me a $8400 5 year 50,000 mile extended service plan. That was a bold face lie. Thor Class B does transfer the warranty to the second owner. There is 6 months remaining I have filed the forms cancelling that $8400 piece of sh*t plan that has mostly exclusions and stipulations where there isn't easily obtained coverage. And one would want to avoid any service at Optimum RV Ocala. They can't even reasonably preform a customer walk through without chaos. They have not ever provided the missing items, or corrected any deficiencies and they never will. They lie and if that doesn't work lie some more. I was told by an employee that probably the missing items were stolen by employees. Seems they just recently fired (Dec 2023 timeframe) an employee for stealing from not only the dealerships units but customer units in for repair. I think they missed a few because things are still coming up missing. Do not buy from Optimum Cancel your existing extended service plans. They are not worth the paper they are written on. (Notice Optimum RV does not provide you with a plan brochure! They just tell you it's 100% bumper to bumper) The dealers make as much as 50% profit on those plans. When you cancel the profits are reduced. Hit these scumbags in the wallet! Because these RV units are so expensive and there are outfits like Optimum RV screwing thousands of consumers out of millions there should be more regulations and oversight to monitor these crooks. It's often said, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree". This is case in point (I suppose). I have (notice I said HAVE) my travel trailer there on consignment. I had to have them pick it up from another dealer because I got stuck out of town due to medical emergency. They picked it up timely etc and I paid the fee and the $299.00 consignment fee. THATS where it gets ridiculous. December 18, 2023 William Vernon, a so called "sales manager" calls and says they have an offer. He Sends me an e-mail to confirm I agreed. I replied right away that I agreed! I've never heard from him directly since. I even sent him an e-mail back a few days later asking for status, he never replied. After a week, I called and left a voice mail, crickets, never heard back. So I called the consignment specialist Gigi who put me in touch with Christy, another manager! She sounded great as if she was going to get it handled. She informed me they have 30-days to get me a check, at which I told her I'm wondering status of the unit! Did it? How much? When did it sell etc. ironically, as I sit here today, I only know that it sold! The only time I get a response, is if I send a nasty-gram or contact Gigi directly and she gets someone to call me back. It takes about a week to get a reply only after I initiate contact. Fast forward! Now I want my check. So, I e-mailed Christy, William and CC'd Denver Beck (owner) and Scott Caylor ( GM?). All because on January 19, Christy said she e-mailed corporate in regards to my check to see if they could mail it directly to me. A week goes by and nothing. So I e-mailed her again, including the above three others, and she came back with "I am in communication with them now requesting a tracking number". Umm, if it's been sent, a tracking number is readily available! So this tells me, no one has a clue where or when my check has been sent, if at all! It's been well past the 30 days Christy told me they have to get me a check, (I'm assuming since I don't know the day it sold etc) AND, I have never heard back from William, Denver or Scott Caylor. So if "upper management" doesn't have the courtesy to return an e-mail, how can they expect their staff to and seemingly with no accountability! Apple doesn't fall far from the tree!! I can only imagine the type of "after sale" service you'd get from them. Remember, everyone is a potential repeat customer, unless of course, your service is terrible as it has been here. I refuse to allow this to be! My mother purchased an RV from Optimum Rv less than ^ months ago. They Did the old Bait and switch on her and boy was I angry. She explained to them what i needed, she told them i have an auto immune and that i would be living in this. Well what i got was a camping camper not a living camper. She had one picked out when they went to finance it they said wait we have this one yada yada we all know how that works don't we? Anyway long very long story they sold her a parasite infested camper. It's literally twisted, main support beam not even welded, one half of the Rv did not work ( outlets and gfi lights ect). It was filthy, both tanks were completely full ( fucking disgusting) and the wrong hot water heater ( no hot water for me). When i started cleaning i found so much animal hair in some places up to two inches thick. The vent to my stove fan was caked i mean caked with hair. Between the couch brackets, drawers ect. Every time I clean I get bit, so does my dog. This parasite ( I believe is some form of no see um) is eating all the cabinets more like building nests.It's in all t he fabric putting holes in the cynical. What is not that old now looks like its been lived i hard 20 years. I have holes in my arms, legs and face.. My dog also. Yes i said it holes. What ever this bug is burrows into your skin. It also leaves or has this sticky residue its always all over the floor counters. It's taken over full infestation.I can not even sleep or open my bedroom door.I sleep on the bench to the dinette! I have spent so much money on shit to get rid it cure me ect.. But nothing works i stay broke, and exhausted because i cant sleep and i spend every day cleaning over and over just so we can maybe get rest. My life is all about this and not actual life and i am being told to deal. Would you? When they finally agreed to do something we had to go up in price imagine that rite! So i picked one it was 27 thousand, no i didn't wanna pay that no i didn't feel i should have to but i agreed and so my mother went and did the stuff needed. Lo and behold when they put the financing in on her credit they put it in for 44 thousand. Meaning the price of that one and the price of this one. I never asked for a hand out i said i would pay but they wanted to be slick. Well now I'm done, I've read reviews there are others like me. But i cant live like this no more I'm so tired and I'm ate up i have sores everywhere, people stare they automatically go to drugs. Ive been refused by hospitals. So i will be posting videos and pictures, oh yeah i forgot to mention that it also smells like something dies in here. I will post Every chance i get through out every day until something is done. I called and asked the team multiple times how the unit is and what services need to be taken. They gave me different answer and started telling me that one of my units needs detailing after 90 days and they did not sell it. No responsibility for their mistake. Tried to make money out of me after they didn't do their job after 90 days. Christi from the team is probably the worst. They initially said RV sells all year round and the price won't change. Day 3 opened up the RV for the first time to enjoy setting it up to learn they Optimum RV sold me a RV not safe to be in much less go camping in! They sold it with a known BAD battery. A over voltage fault on a control panel it's a warranty issue that can cause fire not addressed. Set up the RV in a bad location not all faults noticed. Had my RV on consignment for a few months. They were horrible to deal with via phone, email or text. When I picked up my unit they had lost all my manuals and spare keys. The unit was absolutely filthy and looks like it was never maintained. I had sand throughout the unit and someone spit a wad of tobacco in the sink. Do not consign anything at this place. What started as a not so good experience quickly turned great when Dominica Castoro took over as our service representative. This young lady is truly a rockstar! If it had not been for her we would have walked away from Optimum RV in Ocala because of all the issues we had. We can't thank Dominica enough for all her hard work and dedication to ensuring our 5th was 100% before we got there to finally pick it up! Went to look at an RV. Saw one we liked and sat down to negotiate. Their asking price was very high ( no problem, this is a used rv ), we offered a reasonable price. They wanted over $ 6,000 as a prep fee. Other dealers want $995 . Their asking price was at least 15% over the JD Power value, but they did not want to come down at all. They only offered a prep fee of over $ 3,000, no negotiations on price. They pull the usual sales game. Salesman leaves, then business manager sits to pressure for sale, then sales manager sits. We pulled our offer and that was before we had to deal with the high pressure add ons. Do NOT deal with these people. Other deals use the same techniques but are at least willing to negotiate. We now see why they have such a low rating. read more

Our family purchased our RV online from the Ocala Dealership on 05/13 for over $61,000 everything included. We put down $10,000 and financed the rest. Included in this figure were fees to have the RV inspected by their people to ensure there were no issues with anything, that the RV was ready to go, and that the unit would be professionally cleaned by their staff. The unit arrived 05/25 and immediately contacted Optimum with our concerns. We also contacted a local inspector specializing in RV's, for a professional inspection of the RV, and this is what he put in his report: "upon entering the coach you can clearly see to the left hand side of the entrance the floor is soft, upon closer inspection you can see the wall, and wood work in that area is also swollen, and showing major signs of water damage. I climbed a ladder to inspect the roof. The roof appears to have been leaking long enough to rot the decking near the antenna. All 4 corners are soft, as well as around vents, and the AC unit front termination bar was actively leaking and was caulked by myself to stop water penetration. The exterior wall is delaminated above the main entrance. 1. I contacted several RV Roofing companies, with my inspection results, the cheapest quote I was given was $10,000. Requiring all decking to be replaced, and possible truss replacement near the TV antenna. 2. all trim work, back splash, and cabinets near the cook stove, as well as separating countertops, all need to be removed and replaced. 3. floor in front of slide out, around entrance steps, needs to be removed, and replaced. 4. Roof Ac unit needs to be removed and cleaned to eliminate black mold. 5. refrigerator, cook stove, and Microwave all show signs of rust, wear and need to be replaced. Refrigerator was moldy, coils inside the fridge where so dirty, it had to be cleaned to get the thermistor to register temperature. 6. Living room sofa is peeling, and leaving plastic all over the floor. 7. As you enter the bedroom, the large sliding bedroom doors are missing, and a small curtain rood has been poorly installed, and screws are pulling out of the woodwork. 8. The nightstands next to the bed have the tops separating and need to be replaced. 9. The bedroom has clumps of dog hair in and around the bed platform. 10. The fresh water storage tank has visual black mold in the tank, and in the fill, and overflow hose as well. 11.The rear wall closest to the fresh water tank has water damage and appears to be separating at the rear corner of the unit. 12.Furnace combustion chamber when inspected with a camera, shows a high water mark inside the combustion chamber, and a lot of rust, when the customer used the furnace, they complained of light headedness, and headaches. I informed them to not use the unit, and that is must be replaced. 13.The water heater combustion chamber was full of rust, and needed to be serviced before use. Drivers compartment. 1.Carpet is loose and peeling around foot well area in drivers compartment, and passenger compartment. 2.Dash pad is torn. 3.Gasket around the windshield is failing and falls into drivers vision area 4.dash ac does not cool. 5.wall is soft under driver's window, and has failed causing a hole. 6.broken windshield wiper arms, 7.front seats are both crumbling and peeling leaving piles of loose plastic dust on the floor. 8.bunk above the drivers area is slow and needed assistance to retract fully. The unit is heavily worn, very dirty, and shows signs of a neglected unit, or a unit that was lived in for an extended period of time, and not maintained. The amount of attention this unit needs, with floor replacement, roof replacement, delamination in the exterior walls, and panel replacement on the interior walls, not to mention the unseen damage that will be found once the unit is opened, I would not attempt to repair, in my opinion it exceeds the value of the unit." This report was given to Optimum RV, who has doubled down on their claim the unit was sold "AS IS". However, none of the issues were disclosed to us the buyer. read more

Another update and an extra star. Read the previous reviews...after having the new RV for 2 weeks it just was not working out for our family. We called Optimum back and explained our situation and concerns. After a few days they called us and said they had some trade back options if we were interested. Without getting into the technicals of the process...the team (Joel and Donnie) was great to work with and really guided us in finding what we exactly wanted. We joke and said we basically live there now. We have visited almost every weekend for the last month. Hope when we pick up our new motor coach it will be our last visit for awhile. The process with optimum started off a little shaky but has definitely improved...still not a fan of their service department but that seems to be the case at most dealerships. Let's see how the 2nd time around pick up of the new unit goes! read more

These people are a bunch of liars and they are shady I went in there to look at what my options were to see if I wanted to buy through a dealer or buy through a private seller well I really like this one camper and I told them I wasn't sure what I wanted to do yet and I needed a couple days to think about it well they kept asking for $500 asking for $500 and they would hold hold the unit for me just in case I did decide I wanted to go through them well I decided against it after looking online and finding one that was half the pricewhen I gave them​​ give me the money back by check with no problems well it's been a month and they give me every excuse and a different date and person that's going to give mey money back. While their prices are very competitive; the sales team is a joke! There was a unit I was highly interested in and ready to purchase. After doing the test drive we return to the dealership to find out the unit had been sold! Mind you I had the financing ready to go if I liked the unit. That's right they sold it right out from under me! When the financial manager tried to get me to look at a different unit he wasn't even listening to what I had to say! I wasted my day off there and it would take a great deal for me to return! I would highly recommend taking your business somewhere else! Optimum sold me a brand new rusty trailer. I should have crawled under the trailer at the dealership.Neighbor said the wheels were not straight. looked under and there was no shackle on the spring. Rust and corrosion everywhere. Warrantyis a joke. read more

Buyers Beware!!! The worst buying experience ever. The salesman was wonderful. knowledgable and super helpful. Then it was all downhill. Service department is the absolute worst people to deal with. They are rude and don't return calls. We were scheduled a walk through and an hour later, was told it was canceled. Only got to do it when I threw a fit and asked for a manager. We scheduled a pick up time and they didn't have the unit ready. We waited over an hour for that!! After finally making the 3 hour drive home, we found so much had not been fixed, on a brand new destination unit, as promised. Optimum RV...wait 'till you hear my experience. I bought in year 2022 brand new 2023 GS 19 CSK TT. Optimum RV Pottstown, PA installed my hitch On my Jerp GC. First, they failed to order parts, then tried to get out of it. Eventually, they installed it. Today, my mechanic had it up on the rack & called me to come into the garage. Optimum RV used ELECTRICAL RESIDENTIAL wiring to install the electrical components!! They wired it over the gas tank and used zip ties to secure. I have many photos I wish I could post here of the shitty work Optimum RV did. They attached it in the rear to my brake lights. I have traveled all over the US with my TT. Fortunately, I've had no electrical issues. But, it needs rewired properly with the correct electrical lines. I'm not sure who installed it, Optimum RV or did they outsource the job? I would love to sue them. read more

Terrible service. Nothing is done in a correct time frame nor is the product what they advertise. Not professional and very chaotic. They had a week to get a camper ready and when I showed up, nothing was done or even started on. Had to set and wait over half a day for them to do something they promised to have done a week ago. We brought our motorhome in for repairs and it took 5 months to get original repair request done. Also when we did get it back my husband's Ray Bans were missing and our Bose speaker was missing. When I confronted the Service lead about the speaker she insisted the motor home was always locked. Never asking her staff if they stole anything. Lesson learned we will make sure we take anything they can steal out. read more
