I really wanted to give 5 Stars because I made a appointment and only had to wait 10 min max. Doc was friendly and I got service pretty fast. However I had a app. At 1pm and was done at 2 pm. When I called my pharmacy to check on my prescription at 4.30pm there was no records. I called the urgend care around 5 pm I was in hold for 10 min and then got directed to a answer machine. Well it's 10 pm I am without meds and wheezing in bed. So thanks to no meds another shitty night of not being able to sleep! read more

Great people. Had X-rays done and was told I had a sprain and to follow up with my primary care physician in a couple days from visit. Ended up walking around for a week on a fractured tibia due to POOR X-rays!! Would not recommend for injuries that require X-rays until they get better equipment. read more

Went there since my daughter was sick and would not stop coughing. The staff was nice and helpful the thing I don't understand is I paid $110.00 up front since the receptionist said that was the cost for the visit. They then proceeded to charge my insurance company $250.00. And since my insurance company won't cover the amount I have now received a bill from them for the remaining amount. Seems like they are trying to double dip on the amount the receptionist told me was the total cost. read more

i looked up the closest urgent care location from my workplace on Google and went to WVUC on 12/17/14. Seeing someone was extremely fast, everyone was courteous and great. NP Jim saw me and knew i was in dire pain from a sinus infection., but before that Tech Ronnie was able to take my vitals and get me started with an inhaler so i would stop wheezing. I have been so impressed with 4C Medical Group! My first time there was a few months ago, I had no problem getting an appointment that worked with my schedule! I was nervous about making an appointment during my lunch hour as I know most doctor's offices make you wait a very long time! I was pleasantly surprised with the efficiency of the office and how quickly I was seen! Dr. Kapur was friendly and made me feel so comfortable talking about my health concerns (something I personally do not like doing). He was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel confident in his diagnosis and treatment options. The next time I saw him was during the Covid-19 pandemic, I was able to utilize the telehealth service they have which made me feel so much safer in this scary time. I have to add, I was also very impressed with the ease of the telehealth service! It took virtually no time to set up, I was sent a reminder and was seen on time. Thank you Dr. Kapur and 4c for making my health needs something I don't have to stress over! This place is absolutely HORRIBLE! And I don't mean the doctors, they're only one critical part of getting on the right track to health. The doctor told me that they were backed up on referrals (which normally take 7-10 days). So I understood that it would be a while but it's been A MONTH. I'm on the phone RIGHT NOW and the secretary is telling me she's going to look into what's going on with my referral. What the heck? Someone could DIE in the month it takes those slugs to get their job done. Hire more people! Extend hours! GET THE JOB DONE! And to top it off, this is the SECOND time they've done this to me. I hardly go to the doctor, but every time I do, I deal with this pathetic service. I recently relocated to the Phoenix area from the east coast, and have been markedly disappointed in the standard of care and service delivered by most medical establishments in the northwestern area of Maricopa County. The 4C Medical Group in Glendale, AZ has absolutely stood out as a much-valued exception. The front desk and referral staff are friendly, professional, and highly responsive. Unlike most providers, when you phone during office hours, you are greeted by a human being who presents as someone who seems eager to deliver excellent service. My experience with Melissa Kim (PA-C) and Maria (MA) has been outstanding. Melissa Kim is compassionate, discerning, proactive, and extremely knowledgeable. She consistently treats me as an individual with a unique and complex medical history and demonstrates respect for my self-advocacy. HORRIBLE service. I called and made an appointment for my son. Then I took time off from work only to find out, after I completed their forms, that the doctor they scheduled me for does not see 15 year olds. The office knew how old he was because they asked for his date of birth the day I made the appointment - total waste of my time and money (I consider my time just as valuable monetarily). Are they good doctors? Possibly. But the office is run very ineffectively. If you have time to waste you might have better luck. Otherwise I would not recommend this company. read more

I have been going to this office for several years. I have had some very rude provides in the urgent care! I have always just let it slide. I have had two experiences with a girl a the front desk by the name of Peal. Peal is very rude and unpleasant. The first time I came in contact with her she advised me I needed to pay $120 for the office visit, because I had not met my deductible. I did tell her that the insurance I have has an account set up with $1400 a year and she need to run it through my insurance. Peal was extremely rude and told me I was incorrect. I advised Peal West Valley Internal Med has a contact with my health insurance company that states this. Little does peal know I work for the health care insurance company. Peal this states at the top of her lungs to a crowed waiting room,"I will let our billing department know you're refusing payment." I called the billing department the following day to confirm that I do not pay up front. Several months later I am back to see my doctor and run into Peal and have the same problem. Please let me know why this girl is working the front desk has no clue about payment and is so rude? read more

I just went in to get my warts frozen (simple procedure) and I waited for an hour to be taken care of. When I finally got back into the room where they were going to do the procedure, the nurse struggled to find the necessary equipment. The other nurse practitioner who came in to do the procedure, had on acrylic nails which in my opinion is unprofessional in the medical field and undoubtedly unsanitary. When she was to begin the freezing process she at first didn't know how to use the freeze gun, the nurse below her had to show her how. Apparently the thing wasn't working normally so they both struggled a bit with it. When she finally got started on the first wart inside my hand, she began without putting a smaller attachment onto the freeze gun, so she freeze blasted my wart and all the skin around it in my palm. I understand it's supposed to be uncomfortable and a little painful to have warts removed but she caused my palm to eventually blister when I got home. After the procedure she didn't offer me any follow up care information, I had to ask for it. And she just told me to take Tylenol when I get home and come back in a month for another treatment and that I would probably need at least a few more. I will most definitely NOT be returning to West Valley Urgent Care. read more

It seems to be one extreme or the other with the reviews. Office staff was fine, very typical, I went for a physical and the nurse practioner , Chavers , seems very uninterested in any other problems I had. I'm having some problems with depression and all she did was read a bunch of questions off the internet and gave me a perscription. I wanted to talk to someone about it, I can read stuff from the internet. Several months ago I had a blood clot in my foot and when to the ER, they said see your doctor. I saw Dr. Kleven and all he said was he didn't understand why I was there. I will not be going back. read more

This place is a joke. I am a provider for 2 mentally disabled ladies and I needed to find them a new PCP internal medicine. This place was close to us so I decided to give it a try. What a joke, the drs office is in the same waiting room as the urgent care, and our appointment started at 9 and we didn't get seen until after 10 am. We didn't leave until 1045. I actually really liked Dr Tapia. He was very nice and answered all our questions but the front office staff was so rude and cold. I did not get her name but her has short brown hair and really long fake eyelashes. She really seemed to not enjoy her job at all. Well, the dr advised us to come in on saturday so that we can get bloodwork done and also they could do an ear lavage on one of the ladies. Well, we showed up bright and early saturday morning, having a diabetic fasting and then they decide to tell us that its going to be a $75 copay for the visit that day(which is false, its $0 copay) and that they charge a $10 convenience fee to draw blood there. Wow was I furious. I was never once told about this before hand and i wasted my morning and made a diabetic fast for no good reason. I am never coming back to this place again. Whatever dr charges for blood draws just shows me they are out for your money and nothing else. Beware of this place. read more

Why is it Difficult for Medical Professionals to Except Responsibility for Making Mistakes? Over the past few years, there has been an attempt to seek medical care through a medical clinic in the Phoenix, Arizona area. This process began in late 2012 and ended after the doctor who was providing medical care left the practice resulting in a new doctor having been assigned to provide continued care. After one short visit, there was a decision to discontinue further care until late March of 2015 when it became necessary to seek medical care for chest pain that radiated down the left arm, swelling in the hands and feet, and difficulty breathing. At the time of the appointment, the height and weight was checked, which was 210 pounds for a 5'2" female. The first appointment led to a request for lab tests. At the time of check out the medical records were handed to the patient, which led to the observation of the weight of 167 pounds and a height of 5'3." At the next appointment, there was another provider and a follow-up for lab tests and the scheduling of a physical and well woman exam. The third appointment was met with the cancellation of the "Well Woman Exam" due to the billing issues that would prevent the payment for one the two exams. The physical was performed by a nurse practitioner (NP) who had an EKG run that showed abnormalities. The NP dismissed the EKG as being a false positive until there was a reminder of the chest pain that radiated down the left arm. The conversation took place in the office area outside of the examination room. A request for the discussion of the findings on the EKG to continue in the examination room during the physical. After the discussion of the EKG and with a copy of the lab results that were for a cardiologist recommended for follow-up. Several days later during a review of the four (4) page lab results, there was an error identified on pages 3 and 4 of a 1 of the 4-page report provided by the NP at the time of the scheduled physical. The problem concerned the personal information identifying the patient, i.e., name, birth date, age, address, phone number, insurance provider, and the social security number, which were not that of the person whom the lab results identified on the first and second page of the four-page report. There was a decision to call the individual identified on the third and fourth pages, as the discovery needed to be addressed not only by the person whose information was given out but also by the person receiving the information. Since it was egregious and a violation of the HIPAA laws, as well as the Privacy Act laws. An HIPAA complaint was filed on behalf of the person whose information was given to someone other than the person to whom the information belonged. After seeing four care providers in as many visits to the medical office, there was a request for one doctor to provide all care. This new provider seemed to understand the situation the individual was in and stated that there would not be any more issues concerning the care provided. As appointments were scheduled for oncology, cardiology, and urology each office requested permission to obtain a copy of any x-ray's, lab tests, and other tests that were performed by the clinicians working on the individuals' care. While there were requests made concerning the lab test, there was no attempt on the part of the doctor ordering the follow-up consultations to provide the lab test report for obvious reasons. There was no way for the four-page document to be given to anyone as the document contained an HIPAA violation that would result in questions concerning the information that would appear incomplete or contain someone's' name, address, social security, etc. who was unrelated to the individual read more

I have been with this group for 5 1/2 years and I am on my 4th doctor in this group. They don't stay, the help is changing all the time. No one calls you back. You can sit in the office for over one hour before they call you. My doctor fired me and told me to find a new physician. He told me I had cancer, but not to worry, with treatment it will be ok. How can he say such a thing without a MRI test result. When I told him I went to another doctor who had me do an MRI, and that result was definitely not cancer. He said he never said that to me. Why would I make such a thing up. So I just received a letter from him saying I should find a new physician immediately for continuity of medical care. I should have left this group a long time ago, and now I will have to change. My advice, don't go here. read more

I needed to visit an urgent care facility and decided to call West Valley Urgent Care. I talked to Justin and at first I thought he was drunk and then I realized he seemed like I was wasting his time. I called to see if my insurance was accepted and he said no very rude. I have Aetna through my employer. I called back and asked to speak with anyone but Justin and talked to this very professional woman who did verify my insurance was accepted and what my copay was all the information I needed! After thinking about it I decided to go to another urgent care for my needs because my first impression of West Valley was not a good one. That man was extremely unprofessional and made me feel like I was disturbing him instead of treating me like the patient I was... I have to say I will not recommend this facility to any of my friends and family! read more

RUDE & UNINTERESTED OFFICE STAFF. The doctors are good but the office personnel suck. They rarely return calls. They repeatedly ignore prescription refill requests from our pharmacy. When phoning their office, plan on being put on hold a minimum of 10 min every single time you call, no matter what time of the day. My doctor told me that he was aware that the office staff isn't very good, but added that his hands were tied because any changes would involve approval by all doctors that practice there. read more

Too bad negative stars aren't available. i have been going there for 7 or eight years for small things. As a result I receive hundreds of e mails about their services. one service frequently mentioned is booking an online appointment. so early this morning I tried it. I filled out the form and sent it, received a confirmation that they had my request and that I would be contacted shortly. About 2 hours go by and no response. so I sent an emai to the address listed, it bounced back right away. So I replied to the email, bounced back. So finally I called the number provided and spoke with someone who had no clue, cared even less and basically confirmed my decision to never darken their door again. I should have read the reviews to be up to date. When they opened it was pretty good. Way downhill from there. They care about money and no one else. The staff at this place are impersonal and abrupt. I have been there twice and the first time they repeatedly asked me if I wanted to schedule a physical even after I told them no. They made me feel pressured to let them perform an exam I was not comfortable letting them preform. I went back a few days ago since my inserence assigned me this office as my PCP but I found much of the same. This time just as the last time I went to get a renewal of a prescription skin wash I had been using for years. This time I was again pressured to get a physical and the doctor made it clear that I should have come to them for a physical when I told them that I went somewhere else. The doctor also tried to make me get on a steroid cream since he had never heard of my very common and very cheap face wash. Add to this when talking to me he stood inches from my face making me feel very uncomfortable and his behavior was very aggressive. I would not feel safe having this man or any man in this practice touch me since the moment they enter the room the hair on the back of my neck stood up and I felt dirty. I did get my prescription but once the doctor left the room I got out of there as fast as I could. I have since called my insurance and changed PCP's. These people are just plain creepy and worse they are aggressive. One more thing that was creepy about their office was that they are teamed up with a spa next door and advertise Botox and vampire facials in there exam room. In my opinion this is unethical and disgusting to see in a doctor's office. Don't go to these people they only want to con you out of your money. read more

This place was the most unprofessional medical office I have ever been to. I work in the medical field and the whole experience was shocking the whole time. From the moment I walked in the door. The front girl didn't even say hello. I had to use the bathroom so bad and I asked to get a cup to go and she made me wait 5 minutes, while she disappeared in the back. She came back and didn't even say okay you can use the restroom, some girl came to the side door and with no smile AT ALL she said okay follow me, so I did, and she handed me the cup and said okay there is a metal door you can put this in. She didn't even explain to me how to do this whole protocol. I was so confused as to why I was being seen as an actual visit. No one explained anything to me. I kept asking why I was being seen as a visit when I was just there to drop off urine. It finally took the dr to tell me what was going on. When I asked the medical assistant questions she had the rudest facial expression and said Your insurance wont be billed like I said. She had this face on her like she wanted to beat me up. She was the worst part of the visit. Finally after 45 minutes, the doctor came in and he did the physical and in the visit he kept interrupting me while I was talking. I was confused as to why I was there up until the very end. The whole visit was just unpleasant, confusing and the worst experience ever. I would not recommend going to this place. I was surprised the whole time and I have never felt this way about any office. Patients beware!!! read more
