Vera, the photographer, took many, many photos -- some candid, some of posed groups of people, and some creative shots she envisioned and captured without me even knowing. Somehow Vera was able to captured everyone looking their best, even in the candid, unexpected shots. That is, she seemed to catch people's faces at just the right angle and just the right light to make them look beautiful and beaming. Vera's demeanor made everyone relaxed, which made the posed group photos come out relaxed and happy, not stilted and formal.
