Wisdom teeth- ugh!! I have been putting off getting my wisdom teeth removed for about 2 years. I had 1 impacted and 2 pretty much broken though. They were causing me a ton of pain and discomfort. The dentist has always been a fear for me. I was referred to Dr. Koos and upon meeting him for my consult I was put at ease. He explained everything to me about the procedure and answered any questions I had. For some reason he really put me at ease and I trusted that I was in the best hands. This is saying a lot because I'm always so nervous about any medical procedure. I'm a bit of a nervous nelly and have a lot of anxiety and this was procedure was really causing me stress. He is extremely calming yet very professional. The days leading up to my surgery I was super nervous. BUT- once I got to the office everyone was super nice and I just accepted the fact the teeth were coming out! Ha! I was greeted by Dr.Koos' dental assistant(I asked her name but can't remember). She brought me back to a really nice room. She made me feel comfortable. She placed the laughing gas mask on me and started doing her thing. She even played Alina Baraz, my favorite artist! She asked if the music was ok, and would have let me put on anything I wanted to make me feel comfortable. So, if you have a favorite song, don't be afraid to ask! It's like she knew me and knew how to make me feel like everything was going to be ok. The mask seems scary at first but a few deep breaths and everything isn't so bad! I was so relaxed. It still felt a little scary so I took a few deeeep breaths in through the nose out through the nose just as they instructed. With every breath I felt better and more relaxed. It's like magic ! Next thing I know the Dr. comes in, gives me an IV with the anesthesia and I was out like a light. It was SO easy! I wake up, they bring me to a nice waiting area to let me get myself together(somewhat) haha! And then give my husband and I very through instructions and information on what to expect. The healing has been great and Dr. Koos called the night of to check on me. He even answered a few questions I had along the way. I am super impressed with the professionalism and knowledge with the Dr. Thanks so much Dr. Koos and the ORA team. You made an extremely terrifying experience as good as it could possibly be! I want to preface this review by stating that my husband and I did A LOT of research prior to deciding to go with ORA. I came into the clinic with a need for a dental implant after an external resorption that rendered my tooth essentially worthless. I came to see a surgeon at the clinic, who eventually put me under anesthesia in order to remove my teeth and do a bone graft and, eventually, an implant. After months, I came back for a follow-up, and it became quickly clear that the implant was being rejected. At the follow-up, I asked if there were reasons why this could be the case (a genuine and fair question when you're paying over $5,000 for a procedure out of your own pocket) and the surgeon was EXTREMELY defensive and rude. It was an incredibly odd situation, since I'm young, healthy, have great oral hygiene, have no familial dental issues, and less than 5% of implants actually fail. I left the appointment feeling really dismissed. Eventually, the office took out the implant (for free, which I appreciated!). I was again put under anesthesia for the procedure. The surgeon did not call me to follow-up on how I was feeling (despite doing that on every other procedure I'd had there). Nobody from the office called me. Eventually, I brushed off the situation and went to speak to, in total, 3 dental professionals (periodontist, dentist, and oral surgeon). All 3 of these professionals, after looking at the x-ray, said that it looked as though there was something in my gums that likely prevented the implant from being successful. Finally, the periodontist cut open my gum and took out a piece of unremoved tooth (a leftover from the tooth that had been previously removed by the ORA surgeon). The leftover tooth--which was about 1cm in size--was causing me bleeding, puss, and eventually cost me THOUSANDS of dollars in dental care (while I was a student). Eventually, I sent an email to ORA asking if we could discuss my experience. My email explained that as both an attorney and a child of medical professionals, I understand that accidents happen, but that it's important to sit with patients that have grievances in order to (1) understand what happened and (2) figure out how to compensate (not necessarily financially) the patient. I have never received a single phone call or email back from ORA in response to this email despite laying out (1) the immense financial burden of the situation given it predominantly happened while I was a student, (2) the pain caused from the leftover tooth, and (3) the additional dental expenses incurred in the aftermath of attempting to fix the issue. In my head, just having a conversation with me, explaining to me the possibilities of what happened, and apologizing would have been MORE than sufficient to make me feel better and cared for by these professionals. I feel extremely disappointed in this office, primarily because I loved the staff very much! I felt disregarded and did not at all feel cared for as a patient. Of course, this does not disregard all of the great reviews that people have left for ORA on this page. But I hope that it can provide some additional information regarding my experience! read more

This place has become an ongoing nightmare for me. Absolutely terrible experience. They changed my appointment on the day of after I took off work and arrived on time 4 times in a row. Ashley booked my appointment each time and gave me a physical card with the scheduled date on it, but she also repeated pretended to forget that she scheduled me in each time when I arrived. Does the computer work? Did someone get prioritized over me 4 times? I had a bad tooth, and I was in excruciating pain taking 800mg pain pills every 6 hours for 3 weeks straight because they continuously moved my appointment further and further. They didn't care at all. Eventually the work was done, and I was glad it was over. Now 3 years later, they just told my mom during her appointment that I owe a balance that was supposed to be covered by my insurance. A balance that no one EVER told me about and that they are now about to send it to collections and mess up my credit. This feel very targeted and I never did anything or even respond angrily. Not even when it was justified. Why would they not tell me about a balance? They have my phone number. Why is it going to collections 3 years later? Where is the basic human decency? read more

They unnecessarily put me under for a procedure, charged up the ass for things that weren't needed (after going to another dentist in Chicago) and attempted to charge 4000 dollars for a part of a surgery that "wasn't covered" when I didn't need it (sinus lift). Ora Dental South Loop's team is the best of the best in every service & department. I first found them for an implant procedure that other oral surgeons had assured me wasn't possible; Dr. Koos made it happen and my results were beautiful. I've seen Dr. Kralj for years since then, and despite moving away and changing jobs twice since becoming a patient, I always make the trip because they're worth it. Their techs are all wonderful -- they stay ahead of industry trends with the latest pain- and inconvenience-limiting tech, and just recently, went above and beyond to hand-paint a temporary crown for a better color match plus rushing my replacement appointment to finish up before an upcoming wedding. Their front desk team is unbeatable -- Ashley routinely puts in extra time and energy to go to bat for us to make sure our insurance pays out the absolute most. She even helped us resolve a billing issue with another service provider that we'd been referred out to for a root canal. The office is calm and lovely, the TVs in the exam rooms and the waiting room are usually playing HGTV -- I genuinely look forward to my visits here. I've had a LOT of dental work in my life so have many points of comparison. This office is beyond the best. I constantly recommend them to everyone I know and feel like my luck in finding this team has genuinely improved my life. read more

I'm response to you, Dr. Koos, I love how you were able respond to my Yelp review but can't take the time to respond to my emails nor phone calls. And you were so quick to outline the details in this "consent form" I supposedly signed, but can't furnish it along with my medical record. There was NEVER a discussion that took place that this issue I wound up with, would've been the end result as you claim. You even had a discussion with my current orthodontist about how things could've resulted differently. But you probably don't recall that either? Hmm..? Instead of taking responsibility for your wrong doing, you keep pointing fingers at other reasons to excuse you from fault. This is completely unacceptable. It's been over a year AND I'M STILL WAITING TO RECEIVE MY MEDICAL RECORD. If that's not admitting guilt, I'm not sure what else it could be? Where do I even begin? I was referred to Dr Koos for a simple upper impacted canine extraction. The procedure should have been straight forward but unfortunately resulted in a significant defect that Dr Koos failed to acknowledge during the initial post treatment visit. Since the incident, I have spent over $7k in treatment and still have approx $26k left to go! When I woke up from the extraction, Dr Koos placed a mangled splint to support my teeth from falling out. This was the first of many issues to come. After weeks of healing I noticed a huge chunk of my gum/bone missing. He claimed this was "normal" and was healing perfect. I listened to my gut and sought out a periodontist along with a prosthodontist both of which stated something was wrong and they could not fix this without additional surgeries. I then revisited Dr Koos after I demanded a refund. (He agreed to refund me) because of the "undesirable" results. And of course at that point did he finally acknowledge the defect. This is only the beginning of the trouble I have gone through with this practice. I've still not received my refund. I also have requested help to pay (a small portion at that) for the damage Dr Koos has caused BUT he still has yet to respond. Not only that, he and his office has yet to release my medical record that I've requested on several occasions. I went here for Invisalign. They did a confirmation of benefits and said I would get $1,200 from my dental insurance. The way it was done was I had to pay up front and they would reimburse me. They promised to handle everything with insurance. They stopped doing the reimbursements mid treatment and every time I would inquire with the front desk either in person, over the phone, or email, I would get told they would look into it and get back to me. Occasionally someone told me I'd have to take it up with insurance. Insurance would tell me it was the providers responsibility. No one ever followed up, no one escalated the issue. It's been like 4 years, I just stopped my treatment because I found it so obnoxious and disrespectful. I've always had anxiety just like most people over getting my wisdom teeth removed over just light sedation at your local orthodontist. Every time I went for cleaning, I always feel like I was a car buyer and all they wanted was my money asap. I would ask on the details and only the dental hygienist would briefly explain, maybe not to make me more anxious. My orthodontist that I see,didnt give me the time or even ask on if i had questions, every post dental cleaning was like "we gotta get those wisdom teeth out, we will do it in 2s out of 4", mind you just local anesthesia. Yeah, there are probably people who are brave enough, but not me. Hence, before this year ended, I did my research on the best/top oral surgeons. After a few minutes, I came upon Dr. Steven Koos from ORA dental. I did my stalking, from his website, his credentials (mind you, very impressive), the many helpful reviews on yelp/google; that covered the therapeutic-ness of the staff and oral surgeon team, cleanliness of the clinic, preop/postop instructions, pain management, etc. My anxiety lessened and i booked my second opinion appt w/ Dr Koos. Upon arrival to the clinic, the staff was very friendly, waiting area was clean, with complimentary drinks (water,tea). I then filled in my medical history via a tablet and waited for Dr Koos. Though it was quite a 15 min over wait from my set appt time, I forgave him. I brought in my xray, and shared my experience with why I have been putting my surgery off. Dr. Koos was calm and offers basic terms when explaining the process of anatomy, physiology, pre/intra/post op management/care, side effects of meds, complications, etc. He knocked off every question on my list before i could even ask and I was very impressed. After I had talk to him, one of their staff sat down with me to discuss the prices, I was getting my lower 2 impacted wisdom teeth removed as well as my 2 top ones under general anesthesia (my decision, dr also advised it as well). Local anesthesia was covered by my insurance due to the removal of all four, while at my old clinic it wasnt due to my orthodontist recommending doing 2 at a time. One medication wasn't covered but wasn't pricy; which was a syringe of liquid that helps with pain. The price of the surgery was literally 30-50$ over than the one at my old clinic which they offered less services, I was shocked and convinced to get my wisdom teeth removed at ORA Dental. I booked my surgery a couple weeks later. I arrived on time, the dentist assistant brought me back to the room, started me on a machine that monitors my vitals and my end tidal CO2 to ensure my oxygenation during surgery. Everything was fine, she puts on the mask and Gas came out, i thought she was testing it on me but when I asked her if she gave me medicine, she said yes, it was the nitrous oxide/laughing gas. I felt tingly everywhere, it felt like my heart was racing and I was trying to fight it until i found out it was the medicine, so i tried to relax. Bruno mars was playing, i started feeling out of it, Dr Koos comes in to ask how I am, while Im here trying to keep my composure though Im about to KO anytime. Lol he then puts an IV in me and after that my friend, I was KO. Lol I woke up and they were like "hey, how are you feeling?". I couldn't believe it was that easy, like what a great deep sleep. Thank goodness i didn't have to see them go into my mouth or else i would've freaked out. And yes, I'm one to get anxious easily and my pain tolerance is questionable. Lol the assistant helps walk me out to a recovery room where my dad was waiting, dr koos updated me on the procedure, post op care and that he would be calling to check up on me. We then went home. When i got home, my lip was numb, it was difficult to swallow water and my pain meds as advised, i was miserable and crying but i slept it off for 2-3 hrs and it got better from there. Thank you so much ORA Dental, the process was easy, professional and I can tell how Dr Koos is so passionate about his chosen field. As a Nurse, I've witnessed drs just go in and out, thus i gladly appreciate his compassionate care along with his amazing staff. Im on the road to recovery and I'm doing really good. I got all four of my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Koos a couple months ago, so this is clearly a very overdue review. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Koos! For my initial consult the staff and Dr. Koos were very informative. They took the time to go through what to expect during the procedure and after. The staff helped me with payment plans bc I didn't have dental insurance at the time. Come the day of surgery, it was as easy as any other dental visit. I woke up and went home without ever having to take any pain medications. Dr. Koos called the next day to check up on me and giving me info on what to except and what to expect and offered to be available if I had any questions. Amazing experience getting my 4 wisdom teeth pulled!!!! Doesn't that sound weird?? Dr. Koos and his staff were outstanding and made my experience extremely pleasant. I'm not a fan of pain, so I did a little research to find the right oral surgeon to remove my wisdom teeth. Ora had tons of great reviews, so I went with Dr. Koos and I'm so glad I did! Not only did he do a wonderful job, but he is very personable and he shows that he genuinely cares about you. The procedure: Not only did his assistant play Beyonce for me while preparing for the procedure, but it was over before I knew it. I followed the instructions Dr. Koos gave me and my recovery went great. I had minimal swelling and pain and Dr. Koos called me personally to make sure everything was going well. This was awesome and so helpful because I couldn't recall everything he told me immediately after the procedure, so we were able to discuss it during the phone call. Dr. Koos also adds a few extras to ensure you have the best recovery possible. They sent me home with many helpful items including: a cool reusable ice pack, this gel that helps prevent dry socket, and Dr. Koos' cell phone number. I've been coming for almost two years and the office has been slacking off.... having to wait more than 2 hours just for coming in for a routing cleaning. I needed to replace a filling, they gave me the numbing shot and left me there for about 30 min with no one to check on me or anything. I ended up running late for another appointment, and after not having anything done on me for an hour decided to reschedule. So I had to leave with my face numb for no reason. My children and myself have been patients of Ora Dental ( South Loop) for several years. Both my children have had their wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Koos. I have been treated by Dr. Mark, Dr. Koos and Dr. Kraij. I have also referred several people who have become patients. As a long time patient I have always had very positive and professional experiences. The last dental hygiene cleaning I COULD NOT find a park in the middle of the day on a weekday. I had to wait in the parking lot to no avail. I then waited in the waiting room for another patient to leave and ask for their parking spot. Having ample parking was always a great perk of coming to this practice. WHAT's GOING ON with the parking? Aren't patients valued anymore? I saw one of the office staff go to their car in the lot! I should be able to give them zero stars. My husband was a patient of Ora from Sep-Dec 2017. We paid in full whatever they asked for and they apparently filed the rest with the insurance. Pretty usual. We moved from Chicago to another state in 2018. Fast forward to March 2022... we see a COLLECTION on our report originating from Ora. We are in shock and disbelief. We call Ora, asking what has happened?! They said insurance fell short of paying 190$. We say okay, bit you didn't tell us that!! They say: well, we mailed you the bill ( to our address in Chicago, long after we've moved!!) We ask, why didn't you email/call us? They go: we do our communications by mail only!!!! This is while we received their useless 'cleaning overdue' reminders for 2 years over email. Their lack of communication and then getting us a collection, only for 190$s, is UNBELIEVABLE. They were not even apologetic on the fact. Anyways, we called and paid and sorted things with the collector, but it was a two week hassle and emotional burden. read more

This is, by far, the nicest dental office I've ever been to. Incredibly comfortable and super amazing staff. Dana, the hygienist, is the bomb!!!! She cleaned my teeth better than anyone else has in years. She was precise with the plaque and careful to get every coffee / wine stain off. My teeth look new. I can't believe I have to update my awesome review with this mess. I've been coming here for 10 years and I'm no longer pleased with the level of service or care that I'm receiving from Dr. Kralj's side of the office. Last time, Yesenia incorrectly coded my appointment resulting in a considerably delayed wait time for my treatment. My mother then received a confirmation text for my appointment that we never received a callback to even set. When I called Yesenia to ask her about the random appointment confirmation text I received she was confused. When I told her she never called me or my mother back to reschedule she was defensive and said she didn't know that it was her she spoke with and said that she knows she did it correctly and that she knows she would have put it in correctly. I had to point out to her that the reason why I was calling was because she did NOT code the appointment correctly last time, that she never called me back to reschedule the appointment and that my mother received a text message with a random appointment date. She was not accommodating whatsoever as far as scheduling. She did apologize for the inconvenience for the incorrect coding. My last visit with Trish I was left in the room for about 30 minutes+ and I had to keep checking in to see what was going on. I understand delays and am patient but there was no communication with me whatsoever. Continuing the pattern of poor communication, I call today and I am on hold for 15 minutes with Yesenia. I'm asking what the problem is to speak to Trish because I can hear her talking. She argues me down about how she can't give her the phone, I give up and just tell her to please check the question. I am left on hold for 15 minutes. She picks up the phone from the hold "Ora dental studio?" and I tell her I'm still waiting to see what's going on with my Invisalign. She is completely unapologetic about the hold/wait time. She responds "Well Trish is busy what do you want me to do? Do you want to keep waiting or do you want her to call you back? I told her you were on hold". I had to tell her that she did not tell me she was busy and that I had been waiting on hold this entire time. Not professional at all. I also requested a callback from Trish because I'm having such a problem with the service at which point I ended the call since nobody I had the ability to speak to was competent. The other front desk person (not Yesenia) has a problem handing the phone to somebody I can physically hear her talking to. She can't be bothered to ask someone one simple yes or no question. I've been on hold for over 15 minutes for the same simple yes or no question and I can't get Trish to call me back to handle it. It should not be a problem to physically hand somebody the phone or to transfer me since you are literally sitting next to the person I want to speak to. You are in the same building, you share one desk, she's literally right in front of you. I am also a customer of the other dentist at the practice, Trish, Dr. Koos and Dr. Kralj all know me personally and by face so there should be no issue. I'm very disappointed with the customer service as I referred my mother here, she had a negative experience and now I am having one. 10+ years of pretty consistent visits does not get you any customer loyalty here apparently. I do not understand why I am no longer able to schedule appointments through Jasmine but the new front desk staff needs retraining and is wholly unpleasant to deal with. Being a long time customer I am really used to a certain level of professionalism and service that is no longer present. I have sat in the lobby and physically cringed at the way Yesenia was speaking to other customers on the phone. Having to deal with her gives me anxiety and then the end result is not even worth it because she didn't do what I asked. I don't know the name of the other woman who can't hand the phone to someone I can hear her talking to in person but between her and Yesenia I am completely ready to switch providers. Yesenia does not have the soft/personal skills to meet my level of customer service for the considerable price I am paying, the inconvenience of the location, and the fact that the dentists no longer work extended hours or on weekends. 2 months later from my original appointment date, I have no Invisalign on my teeth, no callback from Trish and no appointment date set. Dr. Koos extracted my three wisdom teeth, and I have to say, the experience was as great as possible. The staff members were friendly, and everyone provided me with so much information about the process. Dr. Koos was so kind. He was headed to the airport for his vacation, but he even called me while he was there before boarding to make sure that I was feeling okay! I received a very clear and detailed list of post-operative instructions. I'm glad I chose to go with ORA, and I would recommend Dr. Koos to anyone. read more

It s sad that I have to write this review. Been a patient here (including my family) for maybe close to 10 years. Never had a problem. Until recently, I asked for a school certificate for my daughter's school. I've been waiting since Wednesday, and I've reached out again today since very early this morning. This girl Jasmine keeps giving me the run around but I know it s a lie. They have my email on file and nothing was sent. Now it's two things, I m still waiting on the document, and being lied to m-treating me like a moron. How can I trust my family's dental health if they can't even send a simple school record? There are plenty of choices, we don't need this added stress due to someone's lack of competence. Hire employees that have more dedication, this will just hurt your business and run off the rest of your patients. read more

I cannot believe that I have not written a review for Dr. Koos! In November of 2014, I had my initial consultation with Dr. Koos and his team for removing my wisdom teeth. Naturally, I had been procrastinating this procedure, but seeing as they were starting to cause me pain - it was time! From the moment I stepped foot in their South Loop practice to the moment I was recovering at home, the whole processes was seamless. During my consultation, I did not feel rushed in the least. Dr. Koos took the time to explain everything to me as well as answer any questions or address any concerns that I may have. His calm demeanor and soothing voice only made me more comfortable with everything that was going to happen. Once I finished with Dr. Koos, the front desk team sat with me and explained what was going to be covered by insurance and what I would have to pay out of pocket - a major plus! I didn't leave confused or wondering what might be. On the day of my appointment, I arrived early and was not feeling one bit of anxiety. I should note that I suffer from severe anxiety and normally in situations like this, I go into a near panic attack. That couldn't have been further from the truth! When I was brought back to the surgical suite, the team made sure that I was comfortable, asked if I had any questions, then explained what the next few steps were going to be. The last thing that I remember was falling the tech putting the "laughing gas" mask on me, the IV going in (which was not painful, more so a little cold), and me drifting off listening to my favorite music. When I the procedure was finished I woke up in a very comfortable recovery room with soft light. The team was very attentive and let me come out of my doze completely before I left. Additionally, they provided me with a goodie bag with an ice pack (which I still use to this day), some wonderful pain meds, and some literature on what I should and should not eat, FAQ information, etc. Later that evening Dr. Koos called to make sure that I was doing alright and to check if I had any questions or concerns. From start to finish his professionalism and genuine concern for his patient was nothing short of amazing. At his practice, you do not feel like a number - rather a person. Lastly, I want to note that the entire procedure was practically painless. There was a little pain when I took the gnaws out but that was about it! If you are looking to have any kind of oral surgery done and have as bad of anxiety as I do, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ora and Dr. Koos. I've been a patient of Dr. Kralj and Ora Dental Studios South Loop since 2006. The first 14 years were amazing. I referred colleagues and friends as the care provided from Dr. Kralj and the entire office was superb. Fast forward to 2021. I had an appt. in July (for which I was on time for) and I sat in the waiting room and was not seen for 45+ minutes. Things happen, I get it. Ashley (front desk) was apologetic and accommodating. She actually said, if I ever wait for more than 10 minutes to speak up and ask what's going on ... I thought to myself, no, that's no my job. That's why you have a front desk staff and that's when you hold your staff accountable. I digress. Now, today, I had a follow-up Invisalign appt. (for which I was on time for) and guess what? I sat and waited in the waiting room for 15 minutes before being brought back to an exam room. I then waited 30+ minutes in the exam room with no appearance from the Invisalign tech. So, another 45 minute wait. I got up and then walked to the front desk. Which there was no one manning the desk. Then a middle aged woman walked to the desk and says with a snarky tone, they will be up here soon. She then got on the office phone and dialed out. This staff member's customer service and personality was lackluster. And then, Dr. Kralj rounds the corner, sees me and asks if I'm coming or going. I explain to him I've waited 45+ minutes and he says, can you stay if I can get you seen right now? Sorry, no. I don't have oodles of time to spend at your practice. Not an apology or anything of the sort. Remember, I've been a patient for 15 years, apparently patient loyalty or courtesy for your time carry no merit or weight with this practice. Ashley then came up and was apologetic and was accommodating again for the reschedule. Mind you, I am driving 40+ minutes from the burbs (one way) burning PTO time from work, etc. After my Invisalign treatment ends, I will no longer be patronizing this dental practice. There is zero accountability at this office. It's very unfortunate as this was once an enjoyable office experience upon each visit. read more

5 stars is HUGE coming from someone with severe dental anxiety.. From the initial appointment where I expressed my anxiety the staff was very reassuring, but what really matters is the what happens the moment you sit in that chair . I met with Sarah who talked me and consistently reassured me of what she was doing d the process. Sarah not only did a great job with easing me but my deep teeth cleaning turned out fantastic. They forgot to protect me‼ Gloves should be kept clean for the purpose of protecting the client. Not in your pocket, not touching or going through the pockets of your lab coat. Great atmosphere, great customer service, and very knowledgeable; but the doctor touched all over his Lab jacket and put the same gloves in my mouth. Shocked and disappointed. read more

this place wasn't my normal dental place, I choose this place to do Invisalign was only because it shows they are diamond provider on Invisalign official page and saw some good recommendations online. didn't end up having the experiences that I expected. only got seen by the doctor twice for the entire treatment. front desk service is just average, a lot of time you have to reach out multiple times for someone to get back to you. They said by the time I finish my treatment I should be able to get reimburse from insurance for about $2500 but so far I only got around $450. I was really hoping to like this place but no. and won't be returning. read more

Dr. Koos and team were great! I had four wisdom teeth removed and was very nervous as I had never had any type of surgery, been under anesthesia, or had laughing gas before. The team explained everything thoroughly and made me feel really comfortable. I am grateful for my first surgery experience to be such a great one so now I can feel a little more confident if I have to have future procedures. Dr. Koos followed up the night of my surgery to check in with how I was feeling, go over the follow up medications and processes, etc. Really the icing on the cake for a great experience! Absolutely painless procedure from start to finish. Very calming and inviting environment, the staff is very friendly and attentive. Dr. Koos and his staff are both very knowledgeable and detailed during the consultation, ready to answer all of your questions. I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed at once. I have a fear of needles and had to be sedated, but I didn't find it difficult to relax at all. The procedure took less than an hour and, to my surprise, I had absolutely no pain afterwards and didn't need any of the pain medication. I did take one of the ibuprofen provided the first night just in case pain set in while I was asleep, but I slept absolutely normal. Dr. Koos called the first night as promised to check in and see how I was doing which is totally out of the ordinary for me and really sealed the deal in choosing his office. He even suggested saving his number and calling/texting any time I had a question or concern. Huge plus. I have already recommended them to others. Thank you Ora! read more

A very positive experience from the initial consultation to post-surgery. I had one of my molars removed and the procedure took less than 30 minutes. Flawless. Oh, I loved the kit provided to help me with the recovery process along with instructions. I have had a great experience here from day one! I came in for a consultation in last month to get my wisdom teeth out. From Jasmine at the front desk to Dr. Koos, I felt welcomed and valued. Getting my wisdom teeth out was my first time in surgery and Dr. Koos was very informative about the whole procedure. He answered all of my questions and more. He seems to be very dedicated and passionate about how profession. Jasmine discussed the whole insurance process with me and answered all of the questions I had. Yesterday, I had my surgery. Couldn't have gone over better! The tech or nurse (I forgot her name, I was too anxious) asked me about what music I wanted to listen to and helped me prep for surgery. Overall the surgery went well; post-surgery, I don't feel a lot of pain, which is awesome. Dr. Koos also called me later in the day to check how I was doing. It's a great place for dental needs- very clean, comfy, and modern, plus they always have HGTV on . It's a great practice in general, I get my regular cleanings here, and soon Invisalign too! read more
