Believe me, you do want to read this review if you are looking for a good dentist. #1.- Don't let a commercial on T.V deceive you !!! #2.- Get a dentist you trust, because you have seen their work in another persons teeth. #3.- Ensure that if you work out a price with them before signing the contract don't let anything distract you from reviewing it before signing it. #4.- Get a dentist close by where you live. #5.- Be very aware of the treatment you are getting done, ask friends, family members, co workers, etc. whom have gotten teeth work done, also get straight answers as to how long it will take when you get a bridge, crown, root canal, extractions, veneers, braces, etc, etc, before getting any kind of treatment done. There is a girl named Ana at this office, who I think is their consultant. She had said the whole thing would be about 2 weeks, it ended up being about 7 weeks from start to finish, being that I got a front tooth pulled out it needed to heal correctly before final treatment. Of course I had to find this out on the day of after my tooth was pulled out, and only because I asked Dr Armen, whom cleared this out with Ana when I was there afterwards. There were just too many red flags that I should have catched. On my first visit I was spoken to very nicely to get me to have them do my treatment. I told them I had not done anything on my teeth cause my concern was that I didn't want anything to be very noticeable on my front teeth, can't emphasize enough how many times I told Dr. Snapir and Ana ( the consultant ), I even emailed them a couple of times with no response from neither one of them. A person who is no longer there ( Rolando Lopez) wrote my contract on which they had given me a high price and thrown in a night guard for free and so I told him I needed to speak to my husband before proceeding to sign the contract, that I would get back to them, because there was a dentist who had already given me a lower price and was closer to home. He excused himself and went to talk to Dr. Snapir and came back and told me Dr. Snapir would match the lower price and still will give me a free night guard. So I said, ok let's do it! They proceeded to take me to do the mouth/teeth wax up, at the time Juan was doing that ( who BTW I think will be a great dentist in the future ) Rolando Lopez re wrote/ revised the contract and brought it out and had me sign it ( little did I know the offered thrown in free night guard I was suppose to get was not listed on the contract ! After calling in regards to this issue and talking to Jacqueline Avila and having her forward me a copy of my contract I noticed the night guard promised was in fact not listed. ! At this time I sent her a reply and explained to her the situation and what had happened on that day, she replied back saying there was nothing listed on the contract that there was nothing they could do, and that "" she mentioned it "" to Dr. Snapir but he doesn't recall anything about it. Every time I call Maria Ibarra to ask her to please look into this she is never in the office. Had a little problem when I went to have my final teeth impressions, when they placed the first bridge I had back on, the girl who did it put it on crooked where you could see part of my real tooth on one side, and out of place, I had white residue on my face and on the inside of my teeth between my teeth and gums, everytime I drank something cold I was in pain, I went back 2 days after to have my bridge re done which I appreaciated they were able to accomodate me and which Dr. Hansel did, my 2nd bridge was just done horribly ugly and very noticeable fake. Attached, see pictures. Yes, they did give me something a little better then what I had, but,, am I 100% happy with final results of my teeth ? Not really, and Dr Armen knew because I told him I was going to look like a rabbit cause 1 tooth ( which is the one they pulled ) is bigger then the other one. He said they are like a new car, take them for a ride if there is something you don't like just come back,,, I don't think I would come back to this office. Just writting this review in hopes that this doesn't happen to someone else. I can't believe they couldn't give a customer the benefit of a doubt about the night guard knowing the only employee they could ask this to is no longer there. read more

Been coming here for years but it's currently in its most organized shape it's ever been. The staff is extremely friendly, office is cute, was seen fairly quickly. Martha is truly a big help when it comes to finances. She will definitely explain into detail so you leave knowing what you're paying for and why. I was also serviced by Monica who was very informative about dental hygiene. I never really got tips with my mouth hygiene and just did what I thought was right, so I'm very appreciative of that. Dr is great, makes you feel like he's known you forever. Highly recommend. read more

The care was professional and the office staff was fine. The doctor acts like a rock star and doesn't want to deal with finances, They give you an expensive plan and automatically sign you up for a loan, get you approved, and initiate the loan. The first 5 months are $399 per month all to interest. Then when the loan is 'finalized' the payments go up to $566 per month for 12 years with interest compounded monthly. The lender would not tell me what percentage of the $566 is to be paid to interest and how much would go to the principal. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST, they are shysters and the lending company is a predatory lender, both by legal definition. They can ruin your credit score, and your family finances, and cause you much stress while trying to comply with their terms. ORABELL and MOMNT are not good. DO NOT go to Dr. Snapir at ORABELL in Van Nuys! DO NOT take a loan from MOMNT. I filed separate complaints against the dentist and the lender with the FTC and the BBB. I am sad and feel victimized. read more
