We stopped by here on Saturday to get a drink and some pastries I've seen them post online. When we went to the door we were greeted by one of the sweet girls who work there. The seating area they have there is so cute and the vibes are impeccable. After chatting with the cashier we found out they closed at 2p and when I looked at my watch I saw it was 3pm! I felt so bad but they still made us the best horchata latte and we grabbed 3 of their Oreo cinnamon rolls. They were so good. I will definitely be coming back. I don't understand all the negative reviews, I honestly think they treat people so well and the matcha there is the best! My first time going was last week and the girl in the front greeted me and I felt very welcome I also had asked if I could get my matcha sweet and she was so considerate to ask me at the end if I needed more sweetener (it didn't it was amazing) I also got bread for my coworkers they all loved it we crave it everyday now. The time wait for me was literally 5 minutes honestly that's pretty good since they were pretty busy. I love the vibes, the music anyone that says otherwise is crazyy! I went in today and waiting over 20 mins. in line and over 30 mins. to not receive my coffee that I ordered. To just be told, that I can come back for a free coffee at a different time (not prioritizing my coffee at the moment) and until finally I was offered a refund. Mind you, the girl at the register stated it was a 10-15 mins wait for my coffee. I understand the workers are busy but they need to be more organized and not lie about your wait times. The food here is More than delicious. It's made with a kind of love you can actually Taste. Recardo and Karina and Family have created something amazing, and it shows in Every Dish. We came in for the pan dulce , but the hot food stole our hearts. We tasted the birria and chile relleno burritos. It was packed with flavorful, and generous enough to share. Absolutely outstanding! The Ventura County Reporter featured Oralia's Bakery as serving up some of the best cheesecake in the area and that was enough to get me and my sister to head on over to try some. We LOVE sweets. Oralia's sells a variety of authentic Mexican bread/food. Today, we stopped by specifically for the cheesecakes. I tried the Banana Wafer and Pina Colada cheesecake. Both delicious, not overly dense, creamy, good amount of sweet (for me). Each hand-sized cheesecake will cost you $10 each. I'll definitely be back to try the vegan conchas. Service was nice, pastries/bread wrapped/packaged individually for COVID standard, limited free parking in front and around the side streets of the store. I don't even know how to rate this because it's not towards the coffee side at all but my experience was with the kitchen side. I was standing in line waiting to be helped and the tall younger man completely disregarded me and helped the couple behind me.. another young lady working the front line with him noticed and said I'll help you right now. You can tell she felt bad. I even asked her if I'm in the right line. It's very small and I was literally in front of the food, ready to order. The man kept asking her to assist other people while still ignoring me. She spoke up for me AGAIN and said I'm next and he hesitantly helped me. He was super kind and apologized to everyone around me for the wait but didn't acknowledge what he did or apologize. I just said never mind and left. I came here for Christmas potluck to get champurrado since I had heard. It was delicious here. The champurrado what's delicious and the service was ok I would say. This was my first time getting something like this and I called it in the day before to place an order to ensure it was ready. When I placed the order, no one told me that I had to bring my own pot as a consumer, how would I know? In the morning I went to go pick it up and the lady tells me that I what is she gonna put it in and I am confused. As a business owner, you should provide something for the consumers to be able to pick up. She then said she apologized and went to the back to ask. I'm not sure who, but then she came out and stated that I had to place a deposit and they would let me borrow something to take it in. I had no choice but to pay the deposit and go on with my champurado. I went back to return it and get my deposit. I was very confused on how they do business if you are going to be selling some thing, you should be able to provide what the consumer can take it in. The staff is always polite and helpful. I have only had their tamales and Pan. I ordered a cheese and a pork tamale. Both were good, not the best I have had, but far from worst I've had. The cookies are hit and misses because they don't have the same kind all the time. Taste wise the cookies and bread are good. They also have food that is already made but looks tempting. I bought some sweet masa (pineapple and strawberry) and has no flavor at all. It was really disappointing wasting 30 dollars for 10 pounds of masa. The hard work I put to make the tamales and then having them to throw them away because no one of my family members ate them . Please save your money and time and don't buy masa dulce from this bakery. The masa looks beautiful, with so much color but has no flavor at all.
