Wow... I've tried a LOT of coffee shops, but I did not expect this one to leave me speechless when it came to the coffee itself I had been recommended this place over and over again, so I finally decided to check it out--and the hype is definitely real. From the outside, it honestly looks like just a Mexican bakery, but it's so much more than that. As you walk in, the coffee shop is right at the entrance with a couple of tables, a beautiful mirror, and some side seating. I do wish the aesthetic was a bit more "picture-worthy," but it's still a nice space overall. When I went (Saturday morning), it was PACKED. To the right, you have the bakery section and omg... it smells amazing. They have all kinds of Mexican pan dulce and fresh cookies--so hard to choose! Now let's talk about the drinks We ordered their special, the Baby Milo, and WOW--I was obsessed. Not only was it delicious, but it was also beautifully presented. I also tried the strawberry matcha, and let me just say... I am NOT a matcha girl, but this drink completely changed my mind. It was creamy, smooth, and didn't have that strong grassy taste at all (which I loved). Of course, I had to get my usual: a sugar-free vanilla oat latte, and it did not disappoint. Super creamy, flavorful, and just perfect. From the bakery, I picked up their walnut powdered cookies, and you could immediately taste how fresh they were. They literally melted in your mouth. You really can't talk about Oxnard without mentioning Oralia's Bakery, a true old-school staple that's been holding it down on Wooley Rd. for 25 years and is open 363 days a year - can you say committed? I came in early on a weekday to avoid the weekend lines that I've seen all over my FYP, and it was perfect. Calm, cozy, and time to soak in the space. The old bakery hot bar side is classic and nostalgic. The new side? Feminine, bright, and girly pop in the best way. I ordered the strawberry iced matcha with strawberry cold foam and WOW. Creamy, flavorful, and honestly one of the better matchas I've tried lately. I can't speak to the grade level of their matcha but as a comprehensive drink it really did hit all of the marks - sweet, creamy and memorable. 5/5. Would highly recommend. And let's talk about the reason I really came: the famous in-house cinnamon rolls. I walked in and immediately smelled them baking. Did I wait 20 minutes to get my hands on one of their cinnamon rolls? Absolutely. Who do you think I am? YOLO. It's clear that their cinnamon rolls are social media famous because everyone that came in asked for one. All of that to say they do go quick and there is no guarantee you will get one, but if you do get one, you'll be in heaven. Worth. Every. Second. I. Waited. Mine came out piping hot, drenched in warm frosting, and I inhaled it in my car within five minutes. Possibly one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had....but also, I fully acknowledge the "fresh out of the oven" bias. The pastries are a hit and especially when they do orders for pickup of several cinnamon buns for a larger group if you have one. I'm already drooling thinking about what went down at Oralias Bakery. My friend Lysandra highly recommended this place and they did not disappoint. Best cinnamon roll I've had. The soft bun with the perfect amount of filling and frosting! Chefs kiss ! The biscoff latte was too beautiful to not to try and it was DELISH! They are not shy with those yummy biscoff cookie crumbles and that's the best when they sink to the bottom liKe when I dipped cookies as a child . I was also surprised to see they also not only served bakery items but had food for lunch. I had the chicharron borrito and it was the best balance of spice and deliciousness! I've been here twice since stumbling upon this business on TikTok. The staff is friendly and my coffee has been amazing both times! I tried the iced Biscoff latte with oat milk and it was so yummy!! This last time I tried the brown sugar shaken expresso with oat milk and it was just as delicious. I finally had time to check out Oralia's after hearing all the good reviews about it and honestly the matcha did not disappoint!!! Probably my favorite I've had in Oxnard so far :) The Tamale was soooo good too . Of course the cinnamon roll was great!! I didn't think it was super sweet which i preferred! Came here after seeing so many yummy videos online. Got a bag full of pastries (8 items) for only $14! They're so soft and super delicious. Also tried their strawberry matcha and cinnamon roll latte. Both were so yummy and also only $14 for both! The cinnamon rolls are made fresh daily, and you can tell. It's one of the best cinnamon rolls I have ever had! I'm so incredibly satisfied and would recommend this to anyone. The staff were so friendly. The bakery itself is spilt into two sections. On the left side, it's the place to order food. Everything here was overpriced for what we got. We ordered three burritos and all of them came out cold, which is unacceptable for the price. For drinks, we had a brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso, a strawberry matcha, a s'mores latte, and a shaken hazelnut espresso. They were all just okay at best--most of the coffees tasted burnt, and the matcha was nothing special. I've definitely had better elsewhere. The pan dulce was extremely hard, basically like a rock. I had to microwave it just to make it edible. Overall, the quality didn't match the prices at all. Definitely not worth what we paid. read more

They've recently remodeled/ created the cafe but you can access either business by walking up/ down a short flight of stairs. Very disappointed in this shop!! A good friend recommended the cafe de olla. So I went Friday around 10:30 am and got a cup for 3 $. Not bad I thought however it turns out it was just regular coffee. I remember that my friend had told me that they have it (cafe de olla) until they run out. Ok. I went again on Monday at 6:45 am and asked the lady behind the counter for cafe de olla and she directed me to the same carafe that I had used on my Friday visit. Only this time I was charged 5 dollars for the coffee. Only it's just regular coffee. Very disappointed. I should have taken a picture because it's labeled cafe de olla. False advertisement!! If you can find parking, consider yourself lucky, but the walk is worth it so plan for it. I have been tasting Oralia's amazing creations for longer than I remember, and they continue to impress me. They just added a full COFFEE TO-GO (lounge) with a small town, mom & pop joint feel like Schnoog's or Goodness Cafe in Sonora, CA but a fast-casual process to get you out to the next part of your day. AND that is certain to compete with many others in their vicinity across Southern Oxnard i'll mention below. Amazing Mexican sweet bread delights, burritos, tamales, teleras, gelatinas, and great drip coffee ( coming from a former Peet's barista/sup myself) and more! The Coffee bar on the side of the bakery area has a fashionable and picturesque lounge and you can order any drink you like at startbucks and leave many bucks happier for the higher quality & love (...or caffeine addiction?) you're hitting at the start of your day. Also, the staff looks well coordinated for the number of clients coming through. Like I mentioned, parking is hard to find for a reason (o weekends), so aim for Monday-Thursday if you plan to take it slower on your visit. Overall excellent service and again timely. This is a family owned and operated business, and it has deep roots in Oxnard. If you're riding through the PCH (motorcycle friendly u-turn on Wooley Rd @ J ST.), exploring Taco hotspots, or simply don't know what to have today, you'll find some happiness here that will fuel the next (several perhaps). The quality and variety of goods and services they providing is also astounding, so ask and they may have your holiday catering answers. Prepared masa (Call Before for a A Lot), tamale orders, burrito orders (for your work team), and again, amazing COFFEE. HONEY CUP, LE PETIT CAFE, COFFEE BEAN, even LOVEWELL and all the others around have a serious competitor, and the biggest advantage is they've known their costumers for decades so they hit the bullseye. Also, if you're from here OXNARD but South Oxnard esp, you'll appreciate the life they've brought to the strip of businesses. Hope more pick up on this and beef that area up. SIDE RANT: THAT AREA would be a great spot for a future light rail stop that moves people to the ocean and back to bring more tourism to South, Central, and Eastern parts of Oxnard. School field trips to study marine life could be more feasible and the learning more enriching, but also connecting youth from the eastern and southern parts of Oxnard to the beach with substantial youth programming investments on the ground could interfere with the push and pull factors drawing youth into violent and criminal subcultural groups. Make it free, (driving) stress free, and fun because you're riding on a train to the ocean, and the whole County would transform from the ground up. Bucket list project. Sooooo I had to be in LA super early on this Saturday morning. And I'm like ok their cafe is open at 6. I'll get to the bakery around 7, get coffee and be on my way to LA. We'll come to find a huge hand written sign in the door saying th car will opening at 8 from now on. Super disappointed and I still got some of their pan but then had to drive around to find coffee for the drive. 3 stars bc their pan is ok but in this day in age it's easy to put out a psa on your IG, stories update Google hours, update yelp hours.
