Everything was so fun! The community there is very welcoming and friendly! The circle part was really fun and exciting to climb!

Some of these other reviewers must have encountered a wholly different experience than we did! Albeit, we are not from the Dallas or Farmers Branch area (or even Texas), but we were so impressed by how nice, well-maintained, and unique this public park for kids was. It was really refreshing to see, and for the most part, people there were also taking care of the park during its use as well. There are so many different areas, things to do, and experiences for kids to venture within the space. More of these everywhere!! read more

I wouldn't necessarily recommend this playground. We have a three year old that is special needs that is physically strong and doesn't have any physical abnormalities to him. We saw other kids his age there as well at the base of the orb with their parents. He became completely fixated on traversing through the orb thing in the middle of the playground, as one would be as it's an amazing structure. He kept trying over and over and over to go up the ropes and into the first layer of the orb. He was scared, the layers of the orb are made with rope, and I had to go with him while helping him physically, which was heavy on me physically, and I am fit. There were certain parts in that first 'orb layer' that had no net and a steep drop off to the ground. My boy thought it might be fun to try jumping off of it so I had to fight against him to keep him from those parts. I went down the slide with him in my lap to get down. We tried every single time to distract and recenter his focus to get him to try the other playground areas but he was fixated on that orb and wouldn't stop. He is athletic at 55 lbs so usually he prefers the big kid areas at parks. We ended up having to carry him out with him crying, kicking, and screaming due to this playground orb feature. We went to another nearby playground, which was a blast. read more

initially, I would say this is your standard park. It has creeks and walkways and fields for sports. What elevates this is Joya, which is Jewel in Spanish. This is an amazing spectacle. It's a giant playground for kids that lights up. It opens Daily 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. the led lights turn on at sunset. When I was walking around the area, I saw it was quite bustling. I cannot accurately review the bathroom since for the men's it was out of order. read more

This place is nice but way too crowded, smells like weed from people smoking it, wish they had a no smoking zone sign. Another thing only 1 bathroom!! What!! I mean come on it's a pretty wide space so they can at least build extra bathrooms!! Lights are fun but all in all not worth the drive in my opinion. read more

Cool park for kids, packed and crowded though, the neon/glow in the dark playground keeps it bright at night for the kids! Parking nearby is not too hard to find. read more

Utter Chaos last night when the weather was good. Needs to be a police presence for this many people packed in a small space. Had to call the police for a lost little boy who was still without parents at one hour. Didn't let go of my kids! Might be nicer on a weekday in frigid weather. read more

Before the "improvements" this was a go to park for all aged children (my daughter is 2) especially on the sphere for the little ones that like to be adventurous but still need someone competent with them (mother,father) . Today 3/18/24 we decided to go and come to find out there's like 10 overseeing "safety" city personnels in the park not allowing parents to join the little ones in the sphere and that the zip-line is gone as well, not only that but on the 2/5 yr old small playground if the kid looked older than 5 I noticed they didn't allow them to play. The people complaining about , this and that equipment isnt safe are raising soft kids , if the park seemed"packed" dont go , come back another night or deal with it . The only thing that should've changed was there shouldve been 1-3 people not allowing teens and adults to bunch up at the top of the sphere and use the QR code as a liability waiver form for those who cant take care of themselves or the kids from getting hurt and attacking the city or equipment manufacturers. Also City Of Farmers Branch since you're deciding to be strict on a park . Enforce a dress code for your "safety" employees. No-one is going to be of any help incase of chaos running around in slides and slippers . read more

I love the city of Farmers Branch investment into their infrastructure and Oran Good Park is yet another great example of one of those investments. Located just a few blocks east of Interstate 35 off of Valley View Lane; you cannot miss this park. It jumps out at you like an oasis; and in many ways it is just enough that! It is beautifully landscaped and maintained and looks as inviting as any park you will see. It has a nice creek running and through the grounds and a nice play ground for the kids. Just a great park all the way around! read more

The swings and toddler side of this park are dirty, broken and outdated. The older kids side seems newer and nicer. There are shade canopies are only over the toddler area so beware older kids will have little protection. If you can, I might search out another park for the younger kids. read more

This is a great park. It is clean, felt very safe, and all around nice park. The toddler side looked well kept and had plenty for the littles to do, and the side for the bigger kids was fun also. I like how big this park felt with the two areas separated by at least 100 ft, and even standing in the middle with 2 kids on each side I felt like I could keep a watchful eye. I'm glad I found this park on Yelp. read more
