First off, Elizabeth has a degree from UT in biological sciences AND attended the Aveda Institute AND is a graduate of the prestigious Lauterstein-Conway Massage School here in Austin. Hell yes. I went to Elizabeth about once a month over the course of six months for a series of facials before I got married. In each session, she asked me how my skin had been acting, what kinds of activities I had been engaging in (good and bad, i.e., smoking), and created a personalized session for that appointment. She also educated me about the crappy face supplies that I had been using (without making me feel stupid) and got me started on an organic, gentle line of skin care that has done wonders for me. Orange blossom has a new fan! I had a Spa Finder gift certificate I was eager to take advantage of, and OB popped up in my search and had stellar reviews. Yelpers have never done me wrong, so I called to book right away. My call was returned promptly and we discussed my wants/needs/options. I have never received a facial before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Orange Blossom does custom facials so Elizabeth said to come on in and we'd decide what was best. The location is in a little office park, but feels like a little old house inside. there are a couple of rooms and it is very peaceful. Elizabeth is as cute as a button, was very friendly, and instantly put me at ease. Once I wrapped up in a velvetly robe and tucked myself into the softest bed/table ever, she got to work. She decided on a deep cleanse, but did all sorts of stuff. We spoke briefly about my skin care routine and other than answer any questions I had (she was very patient, I had many, and was pretty nosy about the whole expereince), it was very relaxing. Whatever she did with paprika felt amazing, and I liked the mud mask and the facial massage. Ok, so I liked it all! I'd asked about a specific product and she introduced me to it at the end fo the session. It wasn't sale-sy at all (in fact, i'm wondering if or how she sells any product if the customer doesn't take the initative) and I got a great under eye product from Colorscience. Definitely a brand I'll look into since she gave me a sample of the Primer to try - which I did this morning - and love it! So my skin looks and feels fabulous. My pores are invisible and my face is seriously soft! This is definitely something I am going to have to save up for and do again! read more

Being naturally skeptical, I read the all-5 star review for Orange Blossom and went there trying to find something wrong. I was extremely surprised to be just as satisfied. I had the mother's day special which is an awesome deal for $150 bucks...a 60 minute massage, 60 minute organic facial, organic lip treatment and an organic eye treatment. All the products used are of the best quality. Elizabeth's massage was fabulous and my skin still looks great from the facial. She carries a hard-to-find line of all organic, all natural products and will get what you need in a very laid back setting. I also like how she practices what she preaches....she gave me a canvas bag instead of a plastic one when I purchased some of her products. I must admit I am a wax jumper and have gone to several places in town to get my eyebrows done, never getting exactley what I want. I am really pickey, and often feel people do what they want, rather than listening to what I am requesting. Well I read all the reviews and thought I would hop on over. I was motivated to get a facial when the products I had been using since adolescent puberty (prescribed by a dermatologist) just weren't working anymore. I had also been thinking...how very long ago I had switched to plant based shampoos, conditioners, and cleaning supplies and wondered...why am I buying these commercialized products with ingredient lists the size of my forearm to cleanse and treat my skin?! Elizabeth is patient, kind, caring, passionate, educated....AMAZING. My treatment was relaxing, peaceful, and healing (and so beautiful lying under a gorgeous tiffany style lamp with calming music). After the treatment (I seriously felt like a new person), she took time to sit me down and explain to me step by step her diagnosis of my skin and her suggested product treatment. I chose to buy 3 products. I spent $300, which included a deep cleansing facial, a facial cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen..but let me tell you how, after swallowing and taking a deep breath over the price IT WAS 100% worth every penny! It's been about 3 weeks since my service and I am absolutely astounded with the change in my skin. I was so worried about my skin feeling oily because I used ALL oil-free moisturizers and cleansers before, but it is not. It feels......perfect. It's less oily. And even MY HAIR seems less oily, which is maybe the strangest and most unexpected and exciting thing that's happened. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience. After having a very long day, sitting through AWFUL traffic, and being 20 minutes late I was extremely stressed out after arriving at Orange Blossom for my eyebrow waxing appointment. I hate to say it because Elizabeth was so sweet and there were positives about this experience including plentiful parking, reasonable pricing, and a helpful appointment reminder system, but when I got home and really looked in the mirror, one eyebrow was slightly shorter and less arched than the other. Last week I went for my first facial with Elizabeth. For being a facial, I was so relaxed. The extractions were uncomfortable but what do you expect. I've had facials before were it was just unbearable but Elizabeth is a pro. She took her time and was very gentle. She had me take my beauty products to make I was able to use them after the facial. Elizabeth greeted me with bottled water and a big smile. (If my skin looks like hers when I leave...oh boy!!) It has actually been a few years since I went to this place but I have always remembered the experience. The facial itself was ok. Not any better or worse than anything else I have had so it's not a bad place to go. Maybe it was just an off day for Elizabeth but I felt the bedside manner left something to be desired. Apparently I had very dry skin because she kept repeating over and over again that "I can see the striations." And then I guess she must have been convinced I led an unhealthy lifestyle leading to dry skin and was determined to figure out what my vices were because she peppered me with questions like, "Do you drink a lot of coffee?" "How much alcohol do you drink?" "How many glasses of water do you drink in a day?" In a week I pretty much drink only water of at least 8 glasses just during work hours. Then since none of those were obvious causes for dry skin she kept repeating "I can see the striations ..." I usually feel pretty good about my skin and actually get some compliments but I have never felt worse about it than I did after walking out of there. read more
