Then didn't even show up for the rescheduled appt. We were trading services per her request yet she can't even send a simple message to just cancel instead of telling me to return? Update - i have been going strictly to Alyssa for a year now and she KILLS it every single time!! I constantly get compliments on my nails, my nails will last a month or more before they start to even lift, and because of the quality of products that Paradise uses, my nails stay sparkly from start to end and I have yet to lose a single rhinestone. Alyssa often has a freestyle special during holidays/seasons where you REALLY get your moneys worth and are guaranteed to leave with a gorgeous set of nails. I also love that no one at Paradise pushes you to have long nails like most other salons do. They will work with whatever length you ask them to give you and it's still gonna look amazing. I called to see if they had availability for a pedicure and a manicure at 4:45pm they said sure and to come in. I did not get seen until 5:40 pm. I didn't even have time to get my nails done and could only get my previous nails taken off. The owner was so passive aggressive with me because she was my nail tech, and was super rushed and rough with my nails. Not all of the acrylic had come off my nails and she left them looking like this. Charged me $15 for this service. And still asked if I was going to leave a tip. I did leave a $5 tip to be nice. But I have never been so disappointed in customer service and lack of quality of care. I'm upset I didn't get to have a good experience here since I had been told how good of place it was. read more

So I desperately needed my nails done since covid happened, and a few girls I work with ALWAYS go to Paradise and their nails look beyond on point every. Freaking. Time. Basic or boujee. So of course, per my coworkers' recommendations, I decided to give this place a go. Side note: they're only accepting appointments (no walk-ins) and are usually pretty booked so I'd call at least a week in advance to schedule. I got my wedding day nails done with Jade, and they were beautiful and lasted for three weeks without any issue. For that I will be forever grateful. Jade is clearly very experienced and she takes great care to ensure her work is flawless, both when doing nails and when removing them. I cannot speak for the other women working at the salon, but this place makes me feel like I'm in a movie with all the girl talk and gossip. You will not get bored. You may pay a little more than you expected and their work might take longer than anticipated. It's worth it in my opinion. I don't do my nails very often, but when I do I want them to be done right. Oh no, truly, I'm not sure why this place has such amazing reviews. I came here because of them. The technician I had was extremely rushed with me. And she was very heavy handed. I pick my cuticles because I suffer from OCD, and when she was shaping my nails she continually used the nail file over my skin, not my nail, roughing up my already sore spots. When she was cutting my cuticles she went so deep and cut me several times. I told her she was hurting me, but she did not change her approach. Just kept mentioning how beautiful my nails were. As I'm sitting there, another girl walks in, and said she had to cut off her entire nail, that was JUST done by Kim's nails the other day, because she got a severe infection. While I'm listening to this, my technician takes cuticle oil, brushes the oil over my bleeding cuticles, and then puts the brush right back in the bottle!! I mean, no wonder people are getting infections. Will not be coming back. Do not recommend. And honestly health code should come in and assess things. read more

This place is an A-OK nail place so I will give you the pros and cons as follows: Pros - The nail techs are attention to detail oriented - somewhat decent selection of nail polishes - prices are very reasonable - location is easy to get in and out of - great leg/feet massage - employees are very friendly Cons - the pedicure chair is outdated than most nail places - the attention to detail lead to a lengthy pedicure and I had to tell the tech that I need to be done by a specific time so I could make my next appointment. Very chill salon. It's not super fancy but they do great nails. Paid attention to detail. They offer a few different deals throughout the week, which I love cause I don't like to spend tons of money on my nails. On Fridays, they do free paraffin on manicures and I really loved that finishing touch! Good selection of powder and gel colors, but there isn't a huge variety of polish colors. Cons: The place isn't updated and the pedicure chairs could be nicer, but I'm not really complaining. The owner said she'd be remodeling soon so I'm excited about that. Not as many polish colors as I would like. Not really a con or a pro, but I definitely recommend making an appointment. It says walk in welcome but they are normally pretty booked (which indicates they do a great job). Over all , I enjoy coming to this salon. They do a good job, have cute little offers sometimes, and they are really friendly/down to earth. However, if you are looking for a fancy spa experience with wine and classical music etc, this isn't the place for you.
