I will never use Orange Cleaners again. I brought in a formal dress for my daughter to have the hem shortened by 2 inches. I was charged $220 (no rush fee, just for the hemming), which I was willing to pay for quality work. However, when I picked up the dress a week later, I noticed the hem looked uneven. I thought, "Let's wait and see how it looks on my daughter--it should be fine." Unfortunately, when she tried it on at home, the hem was completely crooked, the seams didn't align, and the quality was shocking. To make matters worse, there was horsehair braiding in the fabric that was improperly cut. The plastic fibers were sticking out, poking her legs, and the fabric was coming apart. I ended up needing the dress entirely redone by another tailor. When I called to express my concerns, the manager (who was also the one who worked on the dress) refused to take any accountability. She wouldn't issue a refund and instead insisted I should have brought my daughter in to try the dress on beforehand. This was a deeply disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend this business to anyone. read more

I took a gamble after reading these reviews but i didn't go here for anything major just 2 coats for dry cleaning and one needed 6 buttons . Although they didn't follow my suggested pattern everything turned out fine. I did question why my ticket said pick up Friday but verbally was told Sunday , that's a little weird. I have used Orange Cleaners since I was a child going there w/my Mother. I haven't used them in over 3 years due to working remote since March 2020. My daughter needed a bridesmaid dress altered...just a few inches from the arm pit down. The seamstress knew the day it would be ready for pick up was the day before the wedding. When I picked up the dress for my daughter due to she was at rehearsal it was sitting in a bin! I have never picked up an altered item from any where that wasn't also pressed & ready to go. We paid $75 for this small alteration & it's more wrinkled now then when we dropped it off! Orange Cleaners will no longer receive my business. I have never left a review before but I was so disappointed in this company I felt it was necessary. First, I have never been to this cleaners before but it was close to home so I figured I'd try it. I couldn't find the location since the building looked deserted but I eventually found it. They didn't have my 2 items ready the day it was supposed to be done because they claimed they lost power. They asked for me to come the next day which I did, and they only had 1 item out of 2 ready for the same reason, their power just came back and to come back tomorrow. I called twice at different times in the same day to check the status, before I drive there again for the third time and no one answered. It just kept ringing and ringing with no answer. I've been using this place on and off for years. Not the friendliest staff around, but I've never had a complaint with actual dry-cleaning yet. I like that my clothes don't feel super scratchy, which I've experienced after using other shops. They have a sign inside that advertises their "eco-friendly" dry-cleaning. So that's awesome if true. There is also an after-hours drop-off box. I haven't used it yet, but it's a nice option. Plus, they will give you a $1.00 voucher for every $10 you spend that is good for your next visit. read more

Place is awful. literally only good thing about it is their hours. they're never on time and then they're even late on the new timeliness they give you because they couldn't make their first one. They didn't accept their own discount coupon even though it wasn't expired. They look at you with this confused face like you did something wrong. quality of the clean is really bad and never pressed well. the seamstress also does poor work. I will never come here again. I called before I arrived and asked if they alter dresses. She said yes and I said I'll be there in 20 mins. I get there, try the dress on and she says it's going to be $85! I said what?! Why? She said because the dress is wide at the bottom . Then I tried on some pants that I needed taken in at the hip. She didn't even know what to do with those and said "no" immediately. I said, you know what, I'll just go somewhere else. I went to a cleaners up the street in mantua in the plaza where dollar tree and the UPS store is (sorry I can't think of the name). He was very nice, charged me $25 for my dress and measured out my pants for me all in under 5 mins! I have been a loyal customer for years and have usually had good service. However, today was a total shock. I brought my shirts to be laundered which have been costing about $2.25 per shirt. Today the I was told the charge would be $7.00 per shirt because each one was stained. I am positive that none of the 4 shirts I left for laundering were stained, especially all four (two of which were black, one light blue and one tan). Additionally, I remember that the girl receiving my shirts did not even inspect them before issuing the ticket to me. The girl merely asked me if there are four shirts to be laundered and printed the ticket. I did not notice the overcharge at that time until I went to pick my shirts Bottom line, check your price before you leave the drop off. I left my shirts there without paying and will not be back. I believe they have a scam going on or the "new girl" made a mistake and the business is not willing to correct the problem. BEWARE! read more

Horrible customer service and complete unwillingness to admit mistakes Earlier this week I picked up my dry cleaning and to my surprise two of my shirts had 1.5 inch rips in the left sleeve in the same location betwen the elbow and wrist! The manager was useless in getting the issue resolved. He tried telling me that his machines couldn't rip the sleeves like they had been ripped. Had it been one shirt that was damaged, I would have believed him, but it was two shirts with the same rip! Then he had the gall to say he could fix each rip for $10. Really? Sorry, that isn't going to fly. His workers just damaged two $50 shirts, so there is no way I'm paying him to fix what he damaged. Orange Cleaners had been getting $15-$20/week in business from up until now. Sorry, not anymore. He tried to tell me the shirts were already damaged when I dropped them off. First off, no they weren't, I check each shirt before dropping them off. Next, who in there right mind wants a shirt damaged that bad to be cleaned? At the very least call the customer and inform them. Don't clean the shirt, put it on a hanger and send it back to them. read more

Pissed!!! My first time Yelping I'm so angry, I'm using my girlfriends account!. 1st visit, shirts needed buttons. They do not do just buttons. Cleaned 3 shirts that all needed buttons, got home one of the shirts was still missing button. Returned and got my button. Annoyed but not angry. 2nd visit, pants alteration. Taupe/khaki colored dress pants, noticed when I got home you could see the stitching all the way around both pant legs. I was annoyed, thought it might be due to the pants color (which it is not). Did not like the pants anyway so I got rid of them. I said nothing to the cleaner. Annoyed! 3rd visit, 2 pair of pants for alteration (now I was gambling). Black pants. Picked them up and could not see stitching, I was happy! Wore one pair no problem. Wore the second pair, got to work and realized that they had not been altered and may have even been let out some. Now I'm stuck looking silly all day! PISSED!!! Quality control definitely seems to be a big issue with this place. I will be by the store today to get my money back and let them no that I will be taking my clothing elsewhere (such a shame because I can basically walk to this place and was excited to try them). read more

On my recommendation my daughter brought her dress to this place to be hemmed. The cashier asked the seamstress what the cost would be and the seamstress said "whatever you think". She was charged $40 and thought that was the going price. We tried to call under 1 1/2 - 2 hours later to cancel the order and it was already finished. The dress had shorts on the front so the skirt did not go all the way around - more like 3/4. It was not hand hemmed - it was machine stitched and also turned over once - not a rolled hem. Solid and reliable, I've had my clothes cleaned here for years. Clothes are not perfect, but pretty close and fairly priced. They've ruined one of my wife's blouses, but the owner was willing to work with me (it wasn't a new blouse and he looked up the price to a comparable one at ann taylor and gave us 60% of the price in store credit). The reciept states no more than 10x the cost of the cleaning, but we ended up getting a little more than that. Some cool things, to note, he takes recycled hangers in good condition "a bundle" for a $1 off coupon, also replaces buttons for free (if you have an extra) and point it out when you drop off clothes for cleaning. They also have a standing 10% repeat customer discount if you ask for the coupon and remember it! read more

Orange Dry Cleaners lost 4 of my husband's Psycho Bunny Label $125 dollar shirts. Initially they accused me of not dropping them off with the other 9 items that I had cleaned. I then showed them the receipts they gave me from when I dropped everything off and the shirts are clearly described and listed by color. The owner said that wasn't their receipt despite the fact that it has their name and address on it. Additionally they ripped the collar on one of my $60 Ralph Lauren Label shirts. The owner first tried to tell me that I did brought it in that way, I said no I just pulled it off the rack of clothes that's hanging right here. He then said that I took the shirt home, ripped it myself and brought it back. Someone in line told him I never left. He ended up offering me $40 for the shirt and said I paid too much for it. He didn't offer to look for my husband's shirts and when I asked him to do so he said he was too busy. He did add that none of his customers want to wear someone else's clothes, so even if he had them in his possession and accidentally gave them to someone else, they'd probably bring them back to the shop.
