When I got to the window, the gentleman was polite, professional and courteous. There was a few issue with the additional paperwork I needed. I had never purchased a vehicle from a private seller and made a few documentation mistakes. He advised me on what to do and allowed me the chance to rectify it. He told me to come right back to him if his window was open. I wish I got the gentlemen's name. He had tattoos and a shaved head. He stayed late on the holiday to help me. He was truly a Christmas blessing. I'm thankful for his help and service.

Finally…read moreon the 3rd visit I got there about 20 minutes before opening ( opens 9am) waiting in line outside and got in and got my ticket and waited. ( they have been so insanely busy). I honestly did not wait long at all and I did not have an appointment. I tried getting an appointment but they were literally booked for the rest of this year so I took my chances. From the time I got my ticket till they actually called me, It was only about 45 minutes plus the 20 minutes I waited outside. They were actually really friendly took my information l, took my picture and I was on my way. I also renewed my license even though I had two years left because you get half off if you do it early, so that was nice. Definitely word of advice. Get there before it opens and have all your information. All in all wasn't too bad.

Anyways, after waiting in line for some time, we finally got greeted at a window, and at that point all the empty windows were calling out the next customer because it was getting to closing time. Anyways, we finally got to the window, we explained our situation. Now I got it done at the Mobile DMV in Monroe the registration, so maybe Goshen had our paperwork, and could easily fix it. I could tell that the person helping us at this location was confused and unsure how to do it. However when I tried to fix it at Monroe DMV, they said it was a pretty easy fix and just requires editing the files. Here, even the supervisor came over and was like in sorry, we can't do that here, here is a number to call to help you. Oh and side note- the one working the check in window was the supervisor. So that may have explained why the check in line was long, as she needed to be there to help her employees as well. Very nice deneour though for both the supervisor and the person who helped us. We then renewed another trailers registration while we were there. We then went on our merry way. My dad called the number and had to write a letter to Albany, and they at least helped by telling us what to do.

There's zero organization, lines everywhere with no clear direction, and nobody seems to know what's going on. To make it worse, the customer service is just as frustrating. Staff are rude, impatient, and act like you're bothering them for asking basic questions. Instead of helping, they make the whole experience more stressful. Honestly, it feels like nothing has improved in years. If there's any way to avoid going in person, do it. This place is the definition of inefficient.

While waiting, there had to of been 8 workers who came out of the place but they only had 1 person doing the actual license? Doesn't make sense. Now why are we accepting all these tests in one day knowing you don't have much staff, knowing you close early. Which is another thing, they close 4:30 but stated they are gonna stop taking people at 3:30. When I left at 3:15 they said they are taking one more person. They could have multiple others if they close at 4:30. Anyways, now I have to get up extremely early tomorrow instead of them just staying open for extra hours as they had multiple people waiting for hours for no reason.

Went to this location specifically with my dad on Tuesday February 6th 2024. Never been there…read morebefore, but since they rebuilt, and reopened, this locations looks very nice. It also has a modern look on the outside, and inside.There is parking in the front of the building, and that lot seems big even though we had to quickly find a spot. I like that all the offices are in one building. Like we were there to register our new trailer, and renew the registration, so we had to go to the DMV. The DMV office is on the 1st floor. First, though we had to go through security, but it was very easy, and people were very nice there. Even was chatting with one security guard who was very nice, and will be memorable. Even once we entered the DMV office, we were helped right away with the proper paperwork to fill out. We filled the paperwork out, went to the ticket window, then was served right away. A woman helped us out, and she was very nice, as well as the other employees we encountered. Now they should also invest in microphones or something in case someone had hearing loss, because she did have a low voice, but my dad was the one listening to her, and whom was needed so it don't matter. Paid our tax payment on the trailer, and then got new registration stickers and went on our merry way! we can now use the trailer and go camping! Had such a excellent experience here, that if I need to go to DMV for anything, I would go here because everyone is friendly, and for the quick service, especially for a walk in before closing!

My recent visit to the Dmv was all good this time around. I remembered where I needed to go versus…read moremy first visit here years ago. I also made my appointment ahead of time, weeks in advance. When I walked in I was greeted by a man who asked if I had an appointment and when I responded yes, he pointed me in the direction I needed to go. Checking in was also easy, and if you had trouble there was someone there to help. I typed in my phone number, my appointment time popped up and I printed out a receipt and found a seat. I had a 11am appointment and I arrived early like 10:36, so not crazy early lol To my surprise at 10:58 my ticket number was called and I was at the counter. The lady at the counter was full of personality. She got me in and out before 11:30. This time the parking only cost me, $3. Overall when you have to go to the Dmv automatically you think of drama and stressful day but my experience there today was calm and easy. I 100% recommend that you make your appointment online beforehand to save yourself the headache.

Instead, they tell you the address, which is no help at all. It cost me $3 for parking about 1 hr and 45 minutes--not bad. It's pretty time-consuming but nowhere near 3 hours like a couple of the commenters.
