My mother, a long-term patient of Dr. Babu, spoke to him about my situation and my need to see him. Before she could explain what insurance I had, he said to her, your son needs my help, that is all that matters. Have him call my office and schedule an appointment and I will help him. I went to the appointment. He is a modest man and a man that takes his position seriously. He examined images and examined me. He told me I did not have to worry about anything as everything seemed normal. There is no other way to thank Dr. Babu for his kindness and generosity. He is a man that takes his hippocratic oath seriously and an outstanding physician and person. He is what doctors should be like in our modern day society. I thank him from the bottom of my heart. He brought great relief to me with his news. I am deeply grateful for his generosity, kindness, and willingness to help me. I tried to make an appointment with this doctor and there was a two month wait. So I scheduled the appt. The day of the appt., I came all the way from Laguna woods and I stopped at my daughters in Yorba Linda to pick her up since she was going with me. When I told her that his office did not call to confirm the appt. and I had an uneasy feeling about it. I thought I had better call just to confirm. They proceeded to tell me that the appt. was cancelled and that the doctor didn't have any openings for another two months. I was, needless, to say that I was very upset because I needed to see a pulmonologist and I had already wasted two months waiting. I wanted to speak to someone regarding this since I had not been notified of the cancellation. They tried to connect me with his nursing assistant from his office, but couldn't locate a person by the name of Andy. He called me back later that afternoon and told me that they did indeed call me to cancel. That call was never received. He proceeded to tell me that the doctor is very busy and their very busy in their office when this happens, as though he wasn't going to take any responsibility that this happened. I proceeded to tell him that I didn't appreciate coming all the way from Laguna Woods to find out I was cancelled. He became very rude and said I don't even know where Laguna Woods is and we did call you. I said I hadn't been called or I wouldn't have made the trip. When I asked him when I could get an appointment, he told me in another two months. I proceeded to tell him that my primary doctor had sent a consultation letter to Dr. Hardeman to expedite him seeing me. He said that they never received a referral. In checking with my primary doctor, this wasn't true. Andy told me he would check with the doctor to see if I could get an earlier appointment and he would call me back. Of course, just like the notification of the cancellation, Andy, the nursing assistant of Dr. Hardeman never did call me back. Thank you ANDY, you made such a good impression to be left with of Dr. Hardeman office and St Jude's Medical Center and the way that you represent them. It's unfortunate ANDY that they have a employee like you working for them and giving that establishment such a bad impression to future patients.

Really rude and arrogant. I can't stand to look at him. He was the intensivist in the ICU for one…read moreof the days that my mom was there. Apparently he doesn't know what DNR means. My mom was on vasopressor to keep her BP up, he rounded with his students and told me and the nurse that DNR means that he can turn off the pressor and my mom in his exact insensitive words, "she would go bye bye.". That is not true. As a nurse, I know and I even confirmed with an ER nurse before I gave the ICU nurses what my mom wanted if her heart stopped or if she stopped breathing-no CPR or advanced airway. It doesn't mean you can't give her medicine to keep her blood pressure up. He's such a jerk. I was furious and I asked the primary nurse what that was all about. She said he acts like that in front of his students. Great! Now he's misinforming his students as well.

I had a few issues with the office staff following up with me on test results, maybe it's not customary for them to call if the results are negative, but I'd like to know! So I called the office and they had someone call me with results fairly quick. That would be my only complaint. But as far as Dr. Fox goes he's been our PCP for 14 years I trust his judgement and appreciate his outstanding bed side manner and professionalism. Thank you Dr. Fox!! This place is a insurance fraud mill. The staff couldn't care less at any of their locations. Their…read morephone doesn't even have a voice that tells you if they're open, it just plays cheap music, so you can't even tell if you're on hold or if they're closed. They have a bunch of fax numbers but can't be bothered to check which one your authorization is sent to, so if it's not the exact one they want, instead of just getting off their lazy butt and going to get it from a different room/department, they make you get a whole new authorization and fax it to the number the particular person working that day wants.

Fraud Alert!!! Stay away from this practice. Their billing is a nightmare. My responsibility to…read morethem was 1078.64. I paid 1597.32 over the course of last year, and they had the nerve to send me to collections in Feb 2025 for an amount paid in full in July 2024. Repeated requests were made to them for a copy of payments provided with their charges and insurance payments received and nothing. It wasn't until receiving the collections notice that I went back and did my homework. I have been fighting with them since Feb to recoup my overpayment. If you have been a patient of theirs, I encourage you to go back over all your payments and check against your EOBs to ensure they are not overcharging and committing fraud against you too! They operate out of Kindred Care Facilities where these daily charges were racked up.
