I asked for a deep clean and was promised but not delivered. The job was rushed, it was done in 1.5hr. The refrigerator was not cleaned. Some area of the wood floors were not even wiped or touched. Over charged for service. Reply to Lily. Lily... the pictures do show how dirty the house still is after the deep clean. Doesn't that tell you how well the job was done? It was a bad job if the pictures still show that kind of dirt. If the house was clean to begin with then I wouldn't need to have you come and clean it. read more

Do yourself a HUGE favor and avoid them....... if you do end up hiring them, you have to hover over them and supervise everything, every move every inch of every space, and after you pay for their service you'll have to hire someone else to redo. So just do yourself a HUGE favor and skip them, and go straight to another cleaning company. Save yourself some money and time. If you really do want to give them a try, write a simple contract with everything they're supposed to do. Don't trust your text messages with her... she texts too many clients and prospective clients, she can't remember what she agreed for you. Type up the contract, list the rooms, and under each room list all the agreed upon tasks. For example, if one of the tasks is wiping/dusting all the baseboards, put this task under each room. This way, there's no confusion which baseboards need to be dusted... because if you tell her "ALL the baseboards..." isn't clear enough. If you have a staircase, be sure to list it as another space on your contract so you can also put baseboards there as a task. Have this contract signed by you and Lily, and hand it over to her on a clipboard the day of cleaning for her to check off. DO NOT pay her or tip her team until you have checked it... We had a terrible experience with this cleaning company... and she was supposed to arrive at 9am, she didn't show up until 10:05am because she had corporate clients to please and made me wait. Well, I had open house so what did I do? Push it back by an hour and half. And because I had to hire another company after her, I ended up having to cancel all my open house appts so I can hire someone else to re clean the house. I have photos and videos... and text messages between Lily and me... no point to post them here, but what a loss for them. I do open houses, I could have been a good source of steady income for her but she didn't care to do a good job... or mediocre job... or actually, her team didn't even do a bad job...Her team did a TERRIBLE job and I had to hire another team to deep clean after Lily and her team. Asked for a move out cleaning with most of the big furniture is removed, all the stuff left in the house were garbage. They only need to pack up all the garbage and put them in the garage. I know it is a very hard job to do, so I'm willing to pay more than usual price. However, we agreed on 650 dollars at first, and during the work they said too much work.and ask for 700. I said ok. When they are almost finished, they increase the price again to 800. What???? If you quote me 800 at first, I can call someone else. Since they already started and almost finished. I still give a yes for that. When I inspect the house then they are done. Inside looks good, but it definitely not a deep clean. Guess what, they put everything in the fridge and freezer in a huge leaking garbage bag and just left it in my garage without telling me. IS THIS THE SERVICE I GOT FOR 800 DOLLARS? I don't normally like to give any negative reviews, I understand small businesses rely on reviews. But the cleaning and customer service I got from OC Maid Service really left a bad taste in my mouth and I would not recommend cleaning from this place. This review is for a deep cleaning service I requested for a four bedroom, 3000-4000 sq ft. house. They did a subpar job at it. It was maybe a surface clean job for a deep clean price I paid for, which was a fixed price and not hourly. On top of that, when I initially asked if garage cleaning was part of the fixed price quoted, she said yes. But when she got here and saw the garage, she asked an additional $30 for it. I thought it's ok, there's a lot of area to cover, so I agreed to pay extra (for something she said was included). Granted it's a big place with lots of area to clean, but I made sure to move almost all items aside so it's easier and more efficient for them to do the cleaning. Even the garage, we moved the car and bikes out of the garage, and most items were on shelves. They hastily cleaned the house under three hours, asked me to inspect when they've already packed up everything to leave. I did a quick inspection, seeing for the most part all the areas 'looked' clean. So I went ahead and paid. It was my fault for trusting them it was done thoroughly and big mistake on my part. I really thought if it's a professionally done job, I shouldn't find anything to pick on. When I went back to check in detail - cue my shock. There were still dead spiders behind light furnitures, which means they didn't bother to move them. There were spider webs on the walls and the corners. Some shelves and baseboards were still dusty. They did clean well on one side of the house, but left the other half of the house and garage borderline cleaned. When I expressed how dissatisfied I was with the 'deep cleaning', the owner just kept finding excuses - your house was too big, there was a lot of stuff, the house was really dirty. And then ignored me after my repeated requests to come back and make it right (sure, maybe it was unreasonable on my part, but I felt like the deep cleaning was so unacceptable and a good customer service would handled it right this way). The owner even threatened that if I posted any pictures, she has the before pictures to counter my post, of how dirty the house was. Well, the fact of the matter is, that was why we asked for a deep cleaning and I even paid more than the agreed price. This is terrible customer service with terrible supposedly 'deep cleaning' job, both were done unprofessionally. I might have went with a four star review if the owner had handled the complaint properly. But no, it was met with excuses and ignored after. Will definitely not have repeat services if this is the way they do things. read more

Lily does an amazing and efficient job. This is our third time using her services. The second time we used her was directly after remodeling our home, including kitchens, flooring, and a bathroom. Each time everything was spotless. This time we wanted the place cleaned for out of country guest and she once again did an amazing job. Booking her was easy and she was responsive. Lily - it's interesting how you always have an excuse for any negative reviews. It seems you don't like to take responsibility for any of your client's complaints, like tardiness, inability to keep client appointments, or to clean a house to satisfaction. Its never your fault. It's one thing if it's just one review, but there are so many like that. From a potential client's perspective, that looks pretty bad and I think you really lose credibility. Also, maybe instead of responding, just focus on doing a better job at keeping track of appointments and being on time. Respecting your client's time and schedule seems pretty basic to me.
