We have used this company for at least four years. Never have had an issue until this last time about four weeks ago. They came out to clean our windows and after they left, we noticed some pretty significant scratches in at least three of the windows. I sent photos of the scratches to the owner Tom, who told me that he would figure out what was happening or what the guys had done. He sent me a message a couple of days later and said that he knew what it happened and that he would get back to me and let me know. Still have not heard from him. I will not be using them again. I do not need that kind of damage done to my windows. Especially when they are windows that look out at my view! Like I said, we've used them for years before and I've never had a problem. But this time we were very disappointed. Not sure how this could be fixed. read more

We've used Blue Coast twice in the last few years to clean all of our windows. We first used them when we moved into our new home and now we used them again when we completed a large backyard remodeling project that left most of our windows very filthy. Robert arrived promptly yesterday for our entire house window cleaning plus solar panels. We have 2 dogs and well they like to produce window art on the glass doors and sliders. The owner TOM are extremely unprofessional and incompetent!! They came and and cleaned my windows in a huge hurry. They left water spots on the windows and ripped the rubber trim on my windows inside and out. I took pictures and politely asked them to fix it and Tom was defensive, ignored me and refused to clean up the mess they left behind. If your on the coast use Laguna window washing in Laguna Beach. He ended up cleaning our mirrored closet doors, which wasn't part of the original estimate and didn't charge an additional cent. Makes our house feel new again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. He is highly unprofessional, late for appts and inconsiderate. The first time Tom came out he was over an hour an half late and didn't even have the courtesy to call me or apologize. He then asked me to write a yelp review when he was done, but I told him if I did, I'd have to be honest regarding his lateness, so I said I'd write it after he came out the next time. He came to clean my windows about a month ago and did an 'OK' job. However....due to power washing our house (for painting) I needed him to come back again last week to do the 'outside windows and screens' again (and of course I was going to pay him again) His appt was at 8:30 which was confirmed via text. When he didn't arrive by 9, nor call me, I called him and he said he 'thought' appt was at 10:30. ??what? I said please look at our texts above. it was "8:30." I had to leave by 10. So he said, " I can do them without you there". He never mentioned that I'd HAVE to be there to get the screens out as they were from the inside...and in addition, after he cleaned the 4 front windows, he texted that our 'back gates were both locked, so he couldn't do the back'! I texted him back within a few minutes that the side gate was 'open', he just had to pull harder, and he texts me back that he's "already in San Clemente and can't come back". what? That's 35 minutes away! and he just left our house 5- 10 minutes. Dishonest. Then he said he'd see if he could get 'another guy to come out.' but I didn't hear back all day, so I texted to ask if someone was coming and he texted me "No, we can't help you with your window project" and to "find someone local". OMG Seriously? I had made this appt over a month ago and we were having family gathering for Fathers day. No one else was available within 24 hrs. And then to make matters worse, I texted him last Monday, to see if he was available during the week (why, I have no idea after he totally flaked out on me!) He texted he'd 'respond after work', but DID NOT respond, sent him one last text and asked if there was a reason he didn't want to wash my windows, to please just let me know why, instead of saying he'd 'respond' and then not respond. I waited a few more days to write this review just to give him the benefit of the doubt. So rude and unprofessional. And left me hanging for with dirty windows. For me customer service is just as important as the job. read more

Not only did he schedule my window cleaning for that very day, he texted me a bit later that an opening came up due to a sudden cancellation and could he arrive at my home an hour earlier. I have had many window cleaners through the years. I have found the best! Blue coast window came highly recommended on the Next Door local neighborhood site. Tom takes window cleaning seriously and it shows quite clearly (pun intended) in the windows. His pricing is very reasonable too. Living by the water has its advantages but the windows tend to get dirty much faster. On top of this, we had some major construction done on our home and the windows have never been dirtier.
