Solid 5 Stars for Orange Cycle Creamery. Was in the area recently on vacay and was in the mood for a little ice cream after dinner and Orange Cycle was highly recommended. It's definitely a bit of a ride from where we were staying but was it worth the ride?! 110%. The shop is cute and little but quaint and fits the Tarpon vibe quite well. It was a little crowded but nothing out of the ordinary for busy. The girl who took care of us was super friendly and super helpful while selecting our ice creams. Will I be back? Absolutely. Orange Cycle Creamery is one of my new fave ice cream shops. Definitely if you are in the area, this is a must stop. Many people gravitate to the Sponge Docks for all things Greek, but this ice cream shop in downtown is a must stop. It's homemade, great variety of different flavors, & they are super friendly. They are also dog friendly inside. I ordered the huckleberry and pistachio ice cream. I've also had the black raspberry ice cream. These are wonderful. For those who love the Fall flavors, they have a whole bunch too. Try at your heart's content. You will be so happy. I remember the first time I visited this place was in 2018-2019; Somewhere around that time. I will admit, this place grew on me, and although I have a few thoughts on certain areas, it truly is one of Tarpon Spring's many hidden gems. Overall, the quality of the ice cream is fantastic. It's kept cold, the flavors are abundant and sometimes you'll have rotating flavors which will always give you something new to try. The ambiance feels like a trip down memory lane in regards to Tarpon, and the people who work here are respectful, and they'll gladly let you have free samples of your ice cream of choice before officially buying any. My only gripes with this place is two things; The owner is a bit confusing when it comes to the rotation of flavors, which sadly makes it hard to really plan for when you want to go if you're staking out the limited flavors of the day. My other gripe is that, while there are different sizes for the scoops of ice cream, there is only one size for the milkshakes which I feel is a problem since not everyone can handle 16 oz of a milkshake given how rich they can be. Regardless of my gripe, this is a fantastic ice cream shop, and I strongly recommend coming here on a grueling summer day. You will not walk away disappointed! read more

My daughter and I love trying out new ice cream shops and gave this one a try for the first time and will definitely be back! The staff were so polite and helpful in deciding what to get. We ended up going with a medium size bowl- comes with 3 scoops- and got chocolate brownie, strawberry, and birthday cake for our flavors! All 3 flavors were amazing! Nice ice cream shop in downtown Tarpon Springs. Several tables inside to eat at. So many flavors to choose from. Being someone that does not like chocolate, I had many options. 2 specials were root beer float and biscoff. I had both and they were delicious. Root beer float was my favorite. It had marshmallows that were still soft. So good. Rest of the family had other flavors like chocolate Oreo and pistachio. Everyone enjoyed. Prices were good and their scoops were good size. Highly recommend the lavender honey. And they also have a few dairy free options for those lactose intolerance ice cream lovers. The service is always great. I found this place on Yelp. I had it saved for the longest time until recently stopping by. I'm so glad I finally tried this place out and may never go back to Twistee Treat again. Orange Cycle Creamery is a nice little hidden gem on Tarpon Ave near Safford Avenue. Their ice cream is homemade and they offer new seasonal favors all the time. They also offer a reward stamp card but most importantly their prices are really affordable. A small sundae is $4.95 with all the fixing. Most of their two scoop ice creams are about the same price. I brought the hound by today and told the staff I'd wait outside at one the tables and order. They told me I could come in with my dog and gave her a generous pup cup. The owner came by seveal times to say hello and seemed very nice. Orange Cycle Creamery is slowly becoming my go to ice cream shop when I'm in Tarpon Springs. If you haven't tried them, I'd highly recommend it. read more

So after a day at Fred Howard park, the beach there is awesome, we went to Orange Cycle. Great location, downtown Tarpon Springs is pretty cool, and the store is really cute. I had the Orange Cycle flavor, just like the old 50/50 bars, but better. However, it wasn't close to the best ice cream. I would never have believed it, but the best flavor of the day was the lavender honey. This is one of the best ice creams I have ever had, including gelato over in Italy. All the ice cream is great, but man, I can still taste the lavender honey. Go, get any flavor but trust me, the lavender honey is worth a second scoop. read more

Been 4 years since I had ice cream but I'm single now and it's what I wanted to do this evening. Went into Orange Cycle Creamery to scope it out and get a cone. Supersweet and friendly staff. They offered to let me try all the flavors if I wanted. They got me hooked me up with a chocolate waffle cone with bischoff and snickers, and I was on my way. Aside from it being ice cream which is engrained as happiness and love since childhood, I had no idea how special of an experience it would be. The ingredients are obviously top shelf, the consistency of all the textures combined with the flavors gave me an instant smile as I realized I was experiencing greatness. Adorable location in the downtown area of Tarpon Springs. Lots of cute shops to check out when you stop in for some of the "Best in the Bay" ice cream. There are very unique flavors you can find here that you don't see at a lot of other parlors. My favorite is the lavender honey and I think it's responsible for all the stamps on my stamp card lol. You can also combine different flavors when you get a double scoop in a cone or cup. All the staff is super friendly as well which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
