I recently started a project to get my 39 year old Boat completely refurbished, of course the Trailer needed a lot of work. I didn't know if it was even repairable. I went in to the Shop and met Patrick, the Owner and Tim, his right hand Man. Both were professional and engaged and Patrick even joined me to go look at my Trailer, not far away from the Shop. He said it was in good enough shape and we made an appointment to bring it in. They found things as the Repair progressed, I had expected that after 39 years. Turns out th they practically rebuilt the entire Unit, even replacing the axle, new grease seals, and side bolsters. They did a nice welding job on one corner. then went above and beyond, adding some nicely carpeted steps. Several months ago I set up an appointment about a week and a half out to have a hitch installed on my SUV to tow my new trailer. I believe I spoke with Tim. Seemed very friendly, helpful. Obtained a reasonable quote and agreed on a time and day to drop off the car for service. I thought it was odd that they didn't ask for a down payment / credit card since ordering the equipment is pretty pricey. Then an unforeseen issue came up and I had no choice but to push back the date for the service a few days, but when I called back I couldn't get a hold of anyone. I checked the number several times for accuracy. I called four days straight - no voicemail, no picked up calls, just rang. I called at different times during the day to see if anybody would pick up. I even tried to email them on social media and no one responded. luckily I was able to schedule the service at Rack n Road, and they did a great job for the same price, but I noted that no one ever called me to cancel or confirm the appointment from Orange Hitch and Trailer. I thought about driving to the facility to cancel my appointment but why would I waste my time when they are clearly a mess and don't care about their customers? It's a lost opportunity for me and them if you ask me - I prefer to use private shops versus the dealership for repairs and they're right down the street from me. I will be a RV owner for many years to come. Now I wouldn't even use them in an emergency. Good thing I didn't take off work and attend that appointment as planned. Perhaps they don't do business with women? I've never experienced anything like this before or since...I guess I'll never know what happened. read more

Dropped off old hubs in October '22. Always had to call back with follow ups, hubs were never serviced. Finally had to stop by to pick them up in Feb. '23. Enough was enough Attempted to give them a second chance by ordering a new axle with hubs, but same service. No calls back, every time I call to follow up (with Tim) he's never there and never returns the messages that each of the other technicians supposedly takes from me when I call. had fenders and lights replaced, had to call for updates. 2 months later they said it was good to go. fenders were not welded on correctly, they did not use a new wiring harness for lights. our upolstery was ruined from the metal dust created around the shop causing rust stains on boat interior. i won't go back and suggest you dont either read more

Had a issue with U-Haul on installing a new Hitch for my Mazda Cx3 so I went to OH&TR to talk to them about it told me to buy the parts and once I receive them to give them a call to setup an appointment to install the Hitch and wire harness. I received the parts in 3 days then called to setup a appointment a week later. Took about 2 -3 hours to install everything and the installer did a incredible job it looks sharp and neat. Spoke to Patrick the owner while I was waiting for my car and what a super nice guy he is and he knows his stuff along with the other employees there at the shop. Old school, know what they're doing, straight up, professionals. I'll bring all my trailer repairs to them. The shop itself is exactly what I wanted to see. Located in an automotive services industrial building. Kinda dirty because of the nature of their work. Cutting metal, welding, painting, are all messy....so if you're bringing a trailer with a boat on it, with white upholstery, you better have a good cover, or you should expect it to get dirty. It's the nature of their business. I was looking for advice on what to do to make my flatbed trailer safe. Because I was hauling my Side-by-Side, Tim suggested I increase the axle size. We went ahead with that replacement and also switched out the hubs to new sealed bearings. They fixed my lights so they're all working and added side lights toward the front of the trailer. Installed eTracks for a better tie down system. Lastly, installed a spare tire with mount on the side just in case. All up, a great experience. Price was fair and I'm a happy customer. read more

I have a 2006 Ford F350 Diesel. I bought a 5th Wheel and needed a hitch installed in the truck. After doing some research, I decided to try an Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Hitch. This set-up requires a "Gooseneck" hitch in the truck, to which the Andersen attaches. Patrick was friendly and pleasant to talk with. He recommended a B&W gooseneck hitch. He and his guys did a great job installing the hitch and an additional trailer plug in the bed. The job was clean and professional and everythign is working great! We have a small travel trailer with a bicycle rack mounted to the rear bumper. The bumper could not support the weight of the bicycles and the bumper bent badly. Excellent customer service. We had Orange Hitch and Trailer put a hitch on our RAV4. A few days later we noticed the rear hatch was sticking and occasionally not opening, so I brought it back to have them take a look. They were super helpful, saw me right away and spent over an hour troubleshooting the problem. Turns out the RAV4 has rear hatch adjustment setting and after using that, the hatch opened and closed properly again. It would have been really easy for them to just say the problem was already there and not take any responsibility for it, but instead they helped me out and went above and beyond to get it right. If you have any reservations about this place, don't. The work is good, they stand behind it, and if there's a problem they'll make it right. Highly recommended. read more
