I reached out to Sweet Me and they assured me that they have alternative shoots for older babies since they are more awake. I love that they come to your home to do the photoshoot. Having the photographer come to our home and set up their studio here put me at ease. Getting my son ready for the shoot at home wasn't as stressful for me. They set me up with their photographer Jennifer. She was so patient and careful with our baby that he slept through the whole shoot and we were able to get the newborn shots we hoped for! My baby is very fussy and easily wakes, but Jennifer had the magic touch! She was so gentle when changing our baby into different looks and even fed him when he almost woke up. Jennifer kept the environment very calm for him and also was accommodating when we wanted to include our own props in the shoot. The whole experience was wonderful and I can't thank Jennifer enough for doing such a wonderful job! Very professional but also maintained a friendly approach. This was on me since I did not call out not to remove it, but once I emailed them, they quickly reverted the edit and sent me the new version right away. My experience with Sweet Me was okay/good. HOWEVER, my review is due to their pricing. When we received our proofs and had to choose photos, we received over 100 photos to choose from. And I thought to order a couple more, we would pay per photo. They lock you in for an additional 20 something photos is over $200 more, or over $400 more for all photos. So to access all photos, said and done is almost $1,200, which is what we paid for 8 hours of our wedding photographers and about 800 re-touched photos! Our photos of our babies turned out nice. Did they wow me? No. The photographer didn't help give direction or fix minor hair/outfit issues. But mainly, my issue is with the exploitation of new parents who just want to document their child's brand new life and how they don't let you know up front about their additional pricing for photos.

Recently my US passport needed to be renewed so this photo studio was one of the few places that…read morestill open on Sundays after 4 PM. The photo studio is located inside AR Galleria (the main galleria entrance was locked on Sunday afternoon so I had to enter through the side door via Cafe Lowell). [Parking]: Easy and free parking in the large plaza. [Reservation]: I was able to call and book a same-day reservation on Sunday. Visitors can also make an online reservation via the studio's website. Upon arrival, I scanned a QR code and signed a waiver before the owner started my 5-minute photo session. [Price]: $27 for 4 physical copies and digital copies to download via email (must be downloaded within 7 days). I did not initially receive an email, but I emailed the owner the next day about the download link and he sent a follow-up email with the link within a few hours (the email was hidden in my spam folder). The email included all the pictures taken during the session. The shop also makes photo keychains ($4+ each). The studio also offers 15-minute and 30-minute self-portrait sessions. [Studio]: While I was here for a passport photo, the studio mainly operates as a self-portrait studio where customers take photos of themselves. This small studio has all the props and camera setup needed to make it happen. [Process]: The owner had me sit on a chair and took 7 pictures. Out of the 7 pictures taken, I was able to choose one for him to print while the rest of pictures can be downloaded via a link in an email. It was more important to receive a digital copy because the US passport renewal process requires applicants to upload a digital photo rather than submit a physical copy. I was able to use one of the digital copies and now that same picture will be on my passport for the next 10 years before the next renewal timeline. [Conclusion]: Overall it was an efficient process and I was able to walk in and out within 15 minutes. However, it would be helpful for the studio to provide additional entry instructions on the website when the main galleria entrance is locked.
