Really wanted to have my newborn pictures taken and they did awesome. My photographer, Rachel, came by and was a pro at handling my baby. She swaddled him and he was comfortable.. too comfortable that he wouldn't stop crying when she tried to take it off to take pictures with more skin. Great for him, but she wasn't able to get pictures of him without the swaddles which was unfortunate for me. She was friendly with us and super patient with our little one. Truth be told, she was even better at handling him than us haha. You can tell she is a pro at what she does and she took her time, allowing baby to be nursed when he was fussy and not rushing us at all. There were so many good pictures but they are very pricey so we ended up just getting the basic 8 pictures. Our family pictures turned out so good that even though we mainly wanted the pictures of the baby, we ended up picking 3 of the family poses. Pictures were darling. The photographer will have an assortment of the most lavish items. You'll have plenty to choose from but you can add your own as well. One of my favorite pictures is of my little guy wearing the blanket he wore when he was born. Photographer was over an hour late but she hit traffic and was coming from far. No biggie.-she communicated with us. I was home in no rush. Baby was fussy. Photography tried but baby wouldn't sleep no matter what she did. Thus went on for over an hour. And she has a lot of gadgets (shushers and heating lamps). Turned out baby was backed up. The Frida windi saved the day! Baby had an explosion. Absolutely had a fantastic experience working with Sweet Me Photography. I was a little skeptical at first with working for a large company who hires photographers, but because it was such a last minute decision to do newborn photos, and we were moving from the Bay Area to Irvine, all other private photographers were booked. So I took a chance on Sweet me, and I'm so glad I did. A couple of days before the shoot, I received an email from the company with our photographers details and to expect a call from her. She reached out a couple of days later and she introduced herself and explained the process. She also answered any and all questions I had. On the day of our shoot, she showed up on time, with a mask on, and quickly set up her equipment in the living room. She provided all the props and outfits. The photoshoot took about 1.5 hours since my son was asleep the whole time! We were even able to get some family photos in. The photos came in about a month later, and I was completely shocked at how amazing they came out! I have a brand new baby that the world needs to know is absolutely adorable. So I booked some newborn photography. They were very flexible with planning knowing this was going to be after I deliver. If you deliver early or late they're willing to adjust. The photographer was great. She reached out to me in advance to let me know how the shoot would go and to finalize details. The day of, she showed up with a mask on and sanitizing to make sure the baby was protected. She was very friendly with my dog and willing to do family photos as well as newborn photos. She had a whole setup that didn't take up much space to be honest. She also had a full wardrobe to pick from and props. She popped my little one in and out of positions for a few hours and he didn't cry once. He was definitely ok with it all and getting fed into a milk coma to do it. In the end, the pics looked great and I have some great shots to hang in my house and share with friends and family. read more

We had our newborn photoshoot recently. When we were searching for a company to do the shoots, we came across many photographers and all were charged over $1500 for photos. We found this company and it was $400 for 8 photos plus the session. The company basically assigns a photographer that is associated with the company to come out and do the photos and then they retouch the photos before sending them to you. You have the option to purchase more photos or the entire gallery for more $$$. But the 8 photos was enough for us. We emailed them our questions and details and they got back to us fairly quickly. They were very accommodating and flexible and able to book a date that worked for us. Heidi ended up being our photographer. She came out and wore a mask. The session was about 3 hours long. She worked with our baby's schedule and was very professional and knew how to calm our baby when she was fussy. In the end, she got amazing pictures. Would definitely pick this company again if we ever had another baby. read more

Had a session with Becca today. She was absolutely amazing with my newborn and 4 year old. My newborn is almost 6 weeks old so more alert. She had her fussy moments but Becca's calming/soothing energy and experience helped our baby relax enough to sleep intermittently to capture some great photos. The pictures were horrendous. I'm naturally brown but they made me look 50 times darker in the photos. Looked super dull. And when I ordered the prints it was even worse. The whole process was amazing and super easy. I made a last minute appointment and was able to get a session within 3 days. Communication with the company was quick and detailed from beginning to end. Our wonderful photographer, Karen, contacted us a few days prior to the session to introduce herself and give us a few instructions to help our newborn be happy and calm. The day of his photoshoot, which took place in the comfort of our home, Karen was extremely patient and sweet with our little sleep fighter. She was super friendly and I felt comfortable having her in my home. She provided all the cute outfits and staged our living room with the backgrounds for the pictures. The fact that she stayed a little over the timed session to get pictures of all the outfits chosen, speaks volumes of her. Once the session was over, we received an email stating the pictures will be sent to us in 10 days. There's no surprise expensive product add-ons to the packages which has happened to me in my first child's newborn session from another company. It truly is affordable with the convenience of arrangements in our home. I was able to request an inclusion of my traditional wedding gown with baby and our photographer Briawna was very accommodating. And truly patient with our toddler that would typically be a little bashful or uncooperative with unfamiliar instructions. We got some great pics and different shots to work with. Booking was fairly simple and the pricing was somewhat affordable- especially compared to what others want. I was disappointed that my photographer was over 1 hour late. I received a message stating that I had to bathe my son prior to the shoot and then nurse him to get him extra sleepy. Well I went ahead and woke him up, bathed him, nursed him only to look At my phone expecting the photographer to say she's outside only to see she's late and won't be there for another hour due to rain. Being late is already unprofessional but I feel like when dealing with a newborn there should be extra caution. A year later, and of all of the photos my son has taken as an infant, these were the worst by far. I used this service for my baby in Aug 2021 and I *never* recommend Sweet Me. They are the most affordable in-home newborn photographers , so they continue to book clients, but I found that my son's photos were very generic. Smiling and open eyes are very discouraged. I fought and fought to have my sons hair featured in photos (ie: no hats). Looking back on the photos, I see that I lost most of the time. A year later, the only photos where I can see his beautiful hair are the ones where he was placed on my husband's LA Kings jersey (so the photog did not have a special hat to force on him). Those are the only photos with personality. I commuicated with my photog prior to the shoot and ket her know that i wanted rainbow elements (she said she had rainbow decor to use), she did not even attembt rainbow acessories in the day of the shoot and i forgot to renind her (probably because I spent so much time asking her not to use hats) . I also wanted a simple Mommy & Me shot. She botched this. Gave me no direction ans shot it at a horrible angle. It was difficult to choose 8 shots from the ones presented to me, because I only liked 2-3. A year later, I still don't like them and had better luck with various local photographers When I complained to the business owners, they offered NOTHING. No reshoot. No discount. read more

Heather was our photographer and she was so great! She showed up to do a rapid test and even took off her shoes without me asking (asian household). I texted her some photos I liked from Sweet Me's Instagram and she was able to recreate them with my baby! She truly is the baby whisper, I've never seen my baby so calm with his clothes off. All things considered I would NOT rebook and I would HIGHLY caution parents considering booking them. Our photographer was very nice and sweet - she was patient with our baby and remained calm the entire time so we appreciate that very much. I do however think that her appearance was a bit unprofessional as she came in what I would call pajamas, and her hair was in a bun that looked like she just came out of bed. This main reason for this review however, is more on the hygiene and cleanliness of the clothing and outfits used in our baby's session. The day following the session, our baby had a rash on her neck, chest and arms. We can't say for sure if it came from the clothing or backdrop used but all we know is she didn't have it before. We noticed that our photographer used Lysol Cleaning Spray on a few of the items.... Why would she need to do that of everything is clean? Lastly, the cloth used for the backdrop was one that she said she just used the day prior, so that kinda made us think twice if it was washed or not. Unfortunately, we thought about a little too late. The pictures came out nice and we're grateful for them but were really shocked when our baby had that rash that lasted over a week. The price and set up is so hard to beat with this place! For $375 they come to your house with all of the equipment and are true baby whisperers! Michelle was AMAZING and calmed our extremely fussy, reflux plagued :( baby down enough to take all of the pictures we wanted. We let her give us advice on poses and colors and she gave us various options. But, if you have an idea of what you want she will do that too! We got the photo gallery back super quick and the edits were in our hands within only a few days! Perfect timing for the holidays. I highly recommend them.
